Digital Editions

I have bought a new computer and intend to move the old digital Editions and all library settings to the new one. Please advice me!

I keep getting "E_LIC_LICENSE_SIGN_ERROR" I have tried all of the trouble shooting techniques. I'm on a mac. Any other advice? THIS IS POSSIBLY THE WORST SOFTWARE THAT I HAVE HAD THE MISFORTUNE OF USING. IT IS QUITE POSSIBLE THAT THIS ERROR HAS WASTED MORE OF MY TIME THAN INTERNET EXPLORER, BING, AND YAHOO SEARCH ENGINE COMBINED.that said it is the only way to access library books with Ontario Library service consortium

Hi.  We currently have two readers and a PC attached to the account.  Old devices are long gone.  I know I am supposed to contact you to have the Activation counter reset but I seem to be caught in a support loop and I'm unsure how to open a support case.  Can you help?

I have been going around in circles for HOURS . Running Windows 10 and using Explorer.  I just switched to a new computer, so I'm thinking maybe that has something to do with the problem (?)I downloaded an ebook - EPUB file form my library and cannot open it in ADE. So far I have:1.  Uninstalled/reinstalled ADE both newest AND older version2. Verified that Time/date etc were correct on PC3. Unauthorized/reauthorized ADE4. Connected Kindle5. Deleted and downloaded ebook multiple timesand all combinations of above.I am continuously getting errors from everywhereA. Upon reauthorizing ADE - they are asking for a VENDOR ID.... wtf?B. When I enter my Adobe ID/password it  says " The vendor account you entered is not associated with the item you are trying to open"C. Trying to open an old ebook in ADE; I get an error saying "The document is licensed for another user account"I've searched far and wide for answers to no avail and I'm just about ready to give up.Does anyone have a

I have an account through ADE and the associated email address is no longer in use nor can I access it to find out my forgotten password.  I need this because I cannot use my ADE on the computer with the current KOBO that I have.  Can someone please advise me on how to contact someone to find out my password in order to delete my account!  Appreciated.

HiI bought some architectural e-books, monographs earlier.Once I upgraded my ADE to the version 4.5.4, but i find it very uncomfortable to read/view my e-books. No option to have a double page view, no hand tool to navigate.In the previous version of ADE all was better, i installed the ADE 3.0 but it cannot open my books. it says, e adept internal error.Any solution?thank you

Hello,     I just downloaded Adobe Digital Editions so I could read an epub book I bought from Dover publications. After getting Adobe Digital set up as the default (it kept trying to open the book with Adobe Reader), my book is not coming up. I go to the website, click epub to download the book, it asks will I let Adobe Digital make changes to my hard drive, do I accept the terms and conditions, then downloads something (I'm assuming the book) every single time. I actually had 6 separate files listed in my computer saying I had downloaded the book. But whenever I open Adobe Digital editions it just says the only thing I have downloaded is the instructions booklet! Any idea what is going on? Or do I have to contact Dover & see if I can return an ebook?

Wer kann nach der Fehlermeldung s.o. den Zähler zurücksetzen?Ich finde keinen Zugang zum Support, es kommt immer die Schleife: Hilfe bei Support, dann die Fragen um was es sich handelt (Produkt Adobe Digital Edition) nicht dabei, dann zur Hilfe die einen wieder auf Suppot verweist. Finder man den Button "Chat" wird man wieder zu Support weitergeleitet u.s.w.Ich finde niemanden der mir Hilfe anbieten kann. Selbst bei Google kommen immer nur "Dies ist die richtige Antwort" mit einem Link und dann landet man wieder bei Suppot.Es ist zum Verzweifeln.Kann mir jemand wirklich helfen?Ich freue mich auf eine Antwort.Benno

I have installed adobe digital editions newly in my pc. I can read my old books, but when I want open a new link to open a new book my windows can't detect adobe digital editions to open this file.

Hi,I have downloaded the 4.5.4 version of Digital Editions on my Iphone 6. I have authorized the device and then, my ebooks appeared.For some of them, I could see the logo to download or something was running. But from this step, the app is not interactive. I can't open any documents. Sometimes the app is closing with no notification. Sometimes, the app is empty and no functionality is available.I can't find any solution by myself. need help in deauthorizing my adobe digital editions account

Hello,I recently ordered couple of ebooks from a company that delivered them as downloadable acsm-files. I read all instructions on how to set up Digital edition and my adobe account to be able to read it on multiple devices, but I can't access the books on my mobile phone.I have a Galaxy A5, Android 6.0.1. Although the books are available in Digital Edition on my Macbook, they don't appear on the mobile app, neither when I just download the app  and login/authorize nor when I actually download the acsm file directly to my phone and try to open it in DE. I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app.Would you please help me out here?Thanks,Mikael

Beim Versuch einen Reader neu zu autorisieren kam die Meldung: too many autorisations.In früheren Beiträgen gab es Hinweise, dass die Geräteanzahl zurückgesetzt werden kann - diese Links funktionieren aber nicht mehr; bei der derzeitigen Seite komme ich nicht weiter.

I've researched, unauthorized, reauthorized, deleted the ADE file on the e-reader, deleted and reinstalled ADE, you name it.I've tried both an older version of ADE and the newest on one win 10 laptop and still get a "user not activated" error on every epub book from the library. They load to my Nook but the error comes up upon trying to open the book(s). I thought the newest version of ADE/win10 combination might be the problem so I even tried an older version (4.0) and no luck.However, if I use a different laptop with win 10 and ADE 4.0 the books are able to be opened on the nook with no issues. The same combination on the laptop I'm trying to fix results in the error.Is this a issue of conflict with the authorization ID's perhaps? How do I correct it if that's the issue? Any ideas or input would be appreciated.

I have dowloaded Adobe Dig edition and tried to open two books from acm into epub, yet they cannot be open on my Sony readeras they are protected by DRM.I try to authorize my Adobe ID and always get the above mentioned error message. What shall I do?ThanksF

Hi, I imported successfully 4 acsm files in ADE and I am able to read them. The 5th file, I cannot import, the error received is: Please help me to slve this error.Alina

i have changed my computer  and ADE will not authorise it

Something went wrong when uploadikng an ebook. Now I cannot delete a number of ebooks. Reinstalling digital editions does not help. Is this a problem of my adobe ID? Is there anyway to get rid off these books?

When I try to authorize my computer in Digital Editions, I get this message in red print; "You can only authorize this computer with an Adobe ID that hasn't been previously used to authorize any other computer or mobile device. Please try again." Digital Editions says I can authorize three computers. This one was authorized before with a diferent hard drive that died. I have not authorized any other.

Does this ebook offer a way to read the text if someone has a visual impairment?   

how do I reset activation for my account..

Not sure how to explain this problem....I have  MAC and am trying to get EPUB books from the public library.  is now saying I need a vendorID to authorize it for both devices. Of course OverDrive (my library's software of choice) says that OverDrive is a drop-down option for Ebook Vendor and I can sign in with my OverDrive ID. My computer is keeping me locked on signing in with my Adobe ID. However, if I do that I cannot figure out how to connect to my Nook 1. Both overdrive and nooks forums have been useless on the topic and of course customer service on both sites is nonexistent. Wondering if I should just try to reboot up an old Windows machine that at least ran the dang thing. Any advice on how to get these softwares to work together???

ADE isn't showing my iPad on the app on my Mac.
