No puedo leer mis libros en Adobe Digital Editions en mi MAC. Me sale permanentemente este mensaje: Error del servicio de activación. Código E_ACT_NOT_READY

Hi,When I read an e-book online everything is ok but when I download it in adobe digital editions the lay-out is terrible. Only titles show, text is stacked up on each other. Has anyone also had this problem? And how to I resolve it? Kind regards, Lhuna

to read library journals offline, you need adobe digital editions (here: 4.5.11). supposedly these keyboard commands for protected PDF work there, among others:"up arrow > scroll up line by line (fit width view, actual size (1:1) view, or zoom factor view) scroll up page by page (fit page view)Down Arrow > Scroll down line by line (Fit Width, Actual Size (1:1) or Zoom Factor view) Scroll down page by page (Fit Page view)Left arrow > Scroll back to the previous half of the screenRight arrow > Scroll to the next half of the screen".unfortunately not for me: all arrow keys have no effect. with the keys page up or page down, the display jumps directly from the upper half of page 1 to the upper half of page 2, while the mouse wheel (which is set to one page further for me) only moves 3 lines further and i have to turn the mouse wheel forever for half a page. i have a fujitsu KB910 on win10. does anyone know the problem and know a solution? is there ev. an alternative solution to

Tengo un dispositovo de lectura KOBO en el cual tengo almacenados muchos libros, quiero saber como recuperarlos, ya que Adobe Digital Editions no me deja copiarlos en el ordenador para pasarlos a otro dispositivo de lectura, tengo autorizado mi PCPor cierto no compreis KOBO, no tienen servicio técnico en España y no hay forma de encontrar ayuda cuando se estropea 

Like thousands of others, I get the "Your eReader is not authorized to open this book" even though it opens other books checked out via Overdrive. I've gone through dozens of deauthorizations of computer and Kobo but cannot seem to fix the problem. My purchase of the Kobo Libra 2 was in part a hope that the problem might go away, but it didn't. I'm using a Mac running OS 11 so I cannot revert to ADE 3. Thanks for any help.

Hello, I just downloaded Adobe DE (on Mac) and it keeps crashing everytime I open it. It opens for 1 second only. Anyone with the same issue ? Regards 

I want to convert a file EPUB to a plain TXT file.It seems that Adobe Digital Editions does not have any converter tool.Any idas?  

Comprei alguns E-Books que só funcionam no Adobe Digital Edition e não consigo abri-los.A mensagem repetida: Erro de Conexão detectado. O Digital Edition não conseguiu se conectar a um servidor de satisfação. Certifique-se que você está conectado a internet.O Suporte da Adobe para esse produto simplesmente não funciona. Eles ficam mandando links inútes que não resolvem nada.Já modifiquei hora, já desinstalei, instalei versões anteriores, mexi em registro, chave, enfim, todas as instruções do Fórum e da pagina da Adobe e simplesmente NADA funciona.Meu Windows é o 7 e a versão do ADE é a última.Não sei mais o que fazer.Caso alguém tenha passado por isso, agradeço se puder me ajudar.

Hi!I have sucesfully used ADE for several months now, but when I opened it last time, the program is empty. There are no books and no colums at the left corner under the bookshelves.I already unninstal the program, erase autorization, instal everyzhing back and it did not work.What can I do?Sincerely, Jana

Started with Windows 8.1 and it worked... for a while.Upgraded to Digital Editions 4.5 - problem started.Uninstalled Digital Editions and reinstalled -same problem.Rolled back to an earlier version - same problem.Erased authorization and reauthorized - same problemUpgraded to Windows 10 - same problem.I can sometime access the downloaded books in the folder where my computer stores them - but the "library" never populates.

Ich habe ein Buch auf meinem PC als Anonym autorisiert, hab mir später eine adobe ID erstellt, wollte mich Anmelden das hatte leider nicht funktioniert, danach hatte ich die autorisierung gelöscht, womit leider die bücher verschwunden sind. Jetzt kann ich keiner der Bücher auf meine neue ID autorisieren, besteht die möglichkeit darauf noch irgendwie zuzugreifen ?

I'm running MacOS Catalina with ADE4.5 and ADE is unable to authorize. I enter the details for my adobe ID and hit the authorize button, and then it sits on the "authorizing your computer" screen indefinitely. It never progresses- I have literally left it sitting for hours to test and nothing ever happens. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling ADE, I have tried deliberately using the wrong password to see if I could at least get an error code, but nothing. It just goes to "authorizing your computer" and sits there until I force-quit the app. After much googling I did find the following that suggested I remove the activation.dat file https://helpx.adobe.com/digital-editions/kb/activation-errors-adobe-digital-editions.html However, after investigating it appears that ADE doesn't even appear to be in the relevant folder- all the other adobe stuff is there but not ADE. I'm at my wits end, all the trouble-shooting advice presumes that you're at least getting some kind of

I can't open an ebook!!! Don't understand how it's so complicated!! I've downloaded it, tried to click and drag the file but it just says "error in getting license "makes no sense. please help! 

lorsque je lance adobe digital édition (ADE) sur mon ordinateur, aucun des livres et e-book de ma bibliothèque n'apparaisse et lorsque je veux en ajouter un , ADE me signale que le titre est déjà dans la bibliothèque que je ne vois pas. C'est difficile de s'y retrouver. J'ai au moins  50  EBOOK dan sma bibliothèque. 

Been using it for a while now without issues. Could easily copy my downloaded library ebooks to the ereader. Today I wanted to do that again, and all of a sudden, it keeps crashing. When trying to copy the book to the ereader, the copy screen goes into an endless loop and DE stops responding. When I ultimately end the process and restart DE, it wont even find my library and I have to do a complete reboot for it to show my books. Nothing changed as far as updates go, since the last time I used it. Already tried reinstalling, but that didnt work. Anyone have a clue as to why it has this annoying behavior all of a sudden and perhaps have a fix?

Cuando abro un en enlace descargado no se abre en Adobe Digital Reader si tiene DRM. Aparece un error  Error! Check activate

HELP...I've tried everything until now. I have ADE4.5 with my NOOK. I swiched from a cox email to gmail a year ago and, while the info is now correct in NOOK the ADE opens on my computer but isn't synching with NOOK because the Macbook Air still has the old cox email for the name. I've tried all the suggested ideas for authorizing and deauthorizing but they haven't worked because the steps to deauthorize still have the cox address and I can't change that in the suggested steps.  SO...WHEN NOOK DISPLAYS THE CORRECT EMAIL AND THAT LONG CODE RATHER THAN THE PASSWORD (apple id) and my macbook air displays all the old library info until a year ago, what am I doing wrong?  THANKS

Every time I open my book on the Digital Editions app for andriod, the app crashes. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, and the problem persists. Please help! Thanks

I can't access any acsm file, because I can't download ADE in Android 12? Because it was made with an older versión? You gotta be kidding me.  Isn't there any option??? I need to open this files in my phone. 

I have Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.11 installed on Windows 11 for Desktop. So far I have noticed that the PgUP and PgDN keys aren't really working to turn the pages, the keys seem really sticky but I do have a very well running keyboard. Does anyone know if this is an issue maybe with the Adobe Digital Editions application?

Digital Editions se me ha actualizado a la ultima versión (4.5.10) y desde entonces no hay forma de abrirlo. Lo he desinstalado e instalado, reiniciando el ordenador cada vez, he eliminado archivos temporales y nada. Finalmente he buscado una versión más antigua, la he instalado, y funciona perfectamente y he recuperado todos mis libros ¿le ha pasado a alguien más?

I have a reference book on an old computer, downloaded Adobe Digital Editions, put in Preferences to link to other devices, but the book is not there. What to do?

I am trying to erase my authorization to change it - as I keep getting a Check Authorization error when I try to load new library books - but cannot remember the password to the account. I have signed back into Adobe on line and changed the password but this did not help.Is there some way to erase the authorization without the password?

I have Adobes Digital Editions but the software, once running, wont show in my screen... I've tryed it all... downloading it again (many times and in different computers), but nothing seems to work... the worst thing is that I have some archives that will only open in Digital Editions...
