I suddenly cannot read ebook from my Library on my Kobo. I download the book onto Adobe Digital Editions, transfer it to my Kobo and get the following message: Your eReader is not authorized to open this bookThis book is protected by Adobe Digital Rights Management (DRM). Because you previously deauthorized your eReader, you need to re-import the book using Adobe Digital Editions (ADE). Please visit help.kobo.com for more information. I have tried de-authorizing and re-authorizing both my computer and Kobo, resetting my Kobo and starting again... Nothing is working!
I have a new computer and I can't authorize it for Adobe Digital Editions because my Adobe ID is still associated with the old computer. The old computer is not operable so I can't use it do de-authorize that computer. I don't want to create a new Adobe ID because I don't want to create a new email address just to do that and my current email is already associated with an Adobe ID.

Bom dia. Como faço para abrir o meu e-book.Aparentemente eu já instalei o Adobe Editions, mas ao entrar no app tem somente um manual em inglês. Não sei o que está faltando. Só sei que não consigo nem encontrar onde meu livro possa estar.Obrigada.
My adobe ID cannot open an ebook. I am getting feedback that the vendor id is not associated with the item but the information supplied is correct for authorization.
I had to reinstall Digital editions on a new computer. Unfortunately, I don't know what my Adobe ID and I can't find it in my online profile at Adobe. So where and how do I find it and where is it?Thanks! xavier
I have just bought a new Windows 11 machine. As I think is normal for security reasons, the adminstrator account is disabled. But when I try to instal Adobe Digital Editions, it refuses to do so under my personal machine account as I do not have the permissions necessary. However I can't run as administrator because the account is disabled. Anyone else have this problem or any solutions?Brian
Hello How would we solve this problem where we bought a book from Swedish adlibris bookstore, and Adobe Digital Editions is giving me E_LIC_LICENSE_SIGN_ERROR as result.Been looking at the other posts with this problem and it does not work with re authorizing or reinstalling the application.
I have a Sony PRS-T1 e-reader with Adobe Reader software installed. It is authorized to read DRM content. Using my PC, I download an e-book from library/Freading. The PC version of Digital Editions is able to open the book fine. However, Digital Editions on PC does not recognize the e-reader. As such, I decided to try transferring the epub file (located under Documents/My Digital Editions) to the e-reader manually. However, while I can see the book, attempting to open it generates this error.I am not sure if this question would be better directed to a Sony forum or not, but I would really appreciate any pointers on the matter. For example, would a compatibility issue between the version of Digital Editions on my PC (4.5) and the presumably significantly older one on the e-reader cause this? Are there any other files aside from the e-pub itself that the device might need to ensure that i have permission to read the book?I am not really familiar with DRM technology, so I would really app

Hey! Please can someone help me with something that is currently driving me nuts. Every time I download to Digital Editions, the file will not go onto my current phone but will go onto my old iphone which I need to get rid of. I subsequently have a load of files that I cannot afford to lose, stuck on my old phone. Equally I have a file on my current phone that I cannot re-download - there should not be two accounts as I have only registered my one email address but there seems to be some kind of divide - is there a way of safely merging the files so that I don't lose any and can use my current phone going forward? Thanks so much in advance
bonjour je n'arrive pas à autoriser mon PC on m'indique que ce compte est déjà autorisé sur un autre appareil or cela fait suite à réinitialisation Windows en vousremerciant
My app stopped working mid-November; I got an error message "Check Activation", so E-Books wouldn't download from BorrowBox.With Adobe Support I have found a solution - it's about having correctly recognised authorisation: Uninstall the faulty ADE 4.5.11From Adobe's website re-install ADE 4.5.11 (I use the Windows edition)Open the ADE, go to Help, and select Erase Authorization. Follow the steps.4 Go back to Help, select Authorize the Computer and follow the steps outlined (they are very clear - you need a user name (your own, [the administrator] email address, and to create a password).Go to Help, and select Authorization Information. Your details (user name and Adobe vendor ID) should be clearly visible (and ticked as 'Default)Close the ADE. Go to BorrowBox and test out a download. It should work, and then you can transfer the Ebook to Kobo.Note: I tried this sequence several times before it magically worked - persist. It took me over 12 hours of Live Chat with a numbe
I have an adobe account and then I installed the app to my computer. In some reason I cannot authorize my account. I tried changing the vendor from Adobe to Google but still nothing. It gives this error message: What might be the problem and how to resolve it?
I have been using this for several years. All of a sudden I can no longer download my purchsed books to Adobe Digital Editions. It says ther is an activation error. I have tried to deauthorise but it will not accept my email and password to do so! I am very confused!

I can no longer read my eBook and I get errors when trying to reauthorize my computer. I need help. Normally I just double click on the book and it pops up. Now I am getting the following:On the next screen, when I enter in my adobe ID and password, I get an error:However, this is ABSOLUTELY my adobe ID and password. I just double checked and was able to log into Adobe.com with it. I tried to select a different vendor, but it won't let me. So then I canceled the whole process and tried going about it a different way. I went to the "Help" screen and selected "Authorize Computer..." Which pulled up this:This was a weird message to see, becasue I was pretty sure that this computer was already authorized. I decided to continue anyway which took me to the next screen where it once again asked for adobe ID and password. When I clicked "Authorize", I got the following:What does that mean and how do I fix it? I tried going through Adobe
Digital Editions will not let me use my account details to authorize. I have uninstalled and reinstalled already. My login details are correct because I can log into adobe on a broswer just fine. There is no option to Erase authorisation either and my internet connection is working perfectly well. I have also restarted my computer which made no difference. Unfortunately when I called for support the person who answered the call hung up. If someone can get back to me that would be helpful
Unable to download library books to Windows 10, Windows 11 and Android devices using A.D.E. vs 4.5.11.1873.03 and even downloaded A.D.E. vs 3.0 but keep getting message: "Unable to Download, Error Getting License, License Server Communication Problem, E_LIC_LICENSE_GIGN_ERROR" Tried uninstalling, reinstalling de-authorising, re-authorising rebooting systems etc... Tried every which way for 4 days not able to download. Tried this morning to download and low and behold it worked the book is now on my ereader NO ERROR MESSAGES. Why can't Adobe put a message out saying they are having a problem and to try again later like other Companies?????????
