Digital Editions

I'm beyond annoyed at this point! Apparently one-on-one live support is not available for ADE, and I can't find the answer on any of the forums! I've been trying for days to open an E-textbook I bought. Today I received a new error code E_ADEPT_UNKNOWN while trying to open the ACSM file. I've tried deauthorizing and reauthorizing. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. I've tried deleting and redownloading the ACSM file. Nothing has worked! I'm on an HP laptop, running ADE 4.5 on Windows 10. I need access to this book for an assignment. Please help!

I got E_LIC_LICENSE_SIGN_ERROR when trying to open file. What is that ? How to solve it?

I have the Adobe Digital Editions installed on my Macbook but anytime I try to download an ebook to the app, I get this error message: E_LIC_LICENSE_SIGN_ERROR. Can anyone help with how to resolve this? 

Hello there,Adobe Digital Editions 4.5, last version, doesn't work on my MacBook. I get the colored wheel turning on and I cannot do anything.Is there a way to make it work or an alternative to Adobe Digital Editions, in order to read my .acsm books ?Thanks in advance

Unfortunately, there is some chaos with my Adobe id's and uuids. I used to have a pocketbook, that somehow created multiple Adobe id's through the pocketbook cloud. When that Pocketbook broke a few years ago I got a used Tolino E-reader that I somehow needed to connected to a different ID (I guess because it didn't connect to the pocketbook IDs?)  I don't remember what I did there, I just remember that it was confusing but that I somehow got it to work with the ability to have all my books on that device. So last week I also lost that e reader and wanted to install ADE on my smartphone to access my books from there but I can't figure out what is the right ID. ADE on my computer is still connected to the right ID but in the authorizing information I can only see the uuid that it's connected to but not the email address. And that is a different uuid than any of the three that are somehow connected to the pocketbook cloud that I can still access (without any of my books).&n

I am attempting to add a book (acsm) to my library and am getting an error E_LIC_LICENSE_SIGN_ERROR. I have tried uninstalling (via Windows Control Panel) and re-installing, unauthorizing and reauthorizing, deleting the Windows registry key, resetting my Adobe password. I have also tried a different computer. I have contacted support and they have advised that I should post here as there is a cleaner tool for Digital Editions and that someone from support will assist. 

cannot downlod e book getting error.e_lic_licence_ sign_errorsolution please?

I tried to return a book using Adobe Digital Editions and it gave me this error: e_lic_license_sign_error I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, I then tried to download a new book and I got the same error saying unable to download.

i struggle to open ACSM-file in digital edition. I use a iMac 11.6.6. The error is something about license sign in error.i have tried the re-authorising solution posted in earlier posts on this subject, but no success.

My ebooks download with extension .acsm.  I connect my Kobo eReader.  I open the .acsm file with Adobe Digital Editions.  I get "Error: Check Activation".  Adobe Technical support cannot help and refer me to this forum.

I cannot open my ebook with DRM protected, it show a error message called E_ ADEPTNO_FULFILLMENT RESULT The adobe customer service do not help me solving it. Could anybody give me some advise? Thanks! PS. I open google books(DRM) with digital edition have this problem, but I used return kobo ebooks is normal and correctly open ebooks.

I have windows 7 computer on which I have adobe digital reader 4.5 installed. I have a new computer that I would like to transfer all my e-books o the new computer. Is there away to do that without my having to transfer them one at a time?Any suggestions would be appreciated

Downloaded an ebook from ebook central, but couldnt open it in the adobe reader app. It shows error of getting liscense and License server communication problem. I am using an ipad and I logged in my adobe id already in the app but it still couldnt work. Thank you.

När jag försöker ladda ner en bok från biblioteket och öppna den i ADE får jag felmeddelande Error! Check activation. Har försökt ta bort autentiseringen av datorn men det går inte. Jag kan ladda ner och öppna boken i ADE på telefonen och surfplattan med samma Adobe-ID??

This is my first time using Adobe Digital Edition and hopefully my last. I'm trying to add a book which is in an acsm file to the library but I keep getting this error message. I'm on Windows 10 if that helps.   I've tried troubleshooting the issue with these solutions:Erasing the authorization and re-authorizing it Going into regedit, deleting the adept activation, then reauthorizing itRestarting my computerMaking sure I have the latest adobe softwareReinstalling Adobe Digital Editions  Trying a previous edition software My issue still isn't resolved after all these methods I've tried. I'd love a solution to this so I can read the book I need for school. Can someone from Adobe please assit me with this?

jusqu'à aujourd'hui, ma liseuse kobo libra était autorisée sur ADE, par je ne sais quelle mauvaise manipulation, ma liseuse n'apparait plus dans ADE et n'est plus autorisée alors que mon ordinateur a l'autorisation;avant je ne pouvais pas télécharger tous les livres, je suis amèrement décue de ne pouvoir télécharger les livres de la bibliothèque numérique.avec mes remerciements

Ade wouldn't start, takes a long time. Then uninstalled ADE and tried to install again. But I got the following message (see attachment)

When opening an .acsm file I get the following message:Error retrieving license. Communication problem with license server:E_ADEPT_DOCUMENT_TYPE_UNKNOWN:Can anyone help me with this? I can't access the book I need for my study. 

I am using the most recent version of Adobe reader, have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times to no avail.

When I move my google e-book, I get the error message. "E_GOOGLE_DEVICE_LIMIT_REACHED" How do I fix it?
