Digital Editions

Hi, I am getting the license error in Adobe Digital Editions, I have followed all of the community advice deauthorising, reauthorising and even tried a system restore. This error has only started in the last week and am bamboozled how to fix it 

Hi people, Anyone with the same problem of ADE not fulfilling acsm on Windows 11?Error Code: E_LIC_LICENSE_SIGN_ERROR I tried in 4 different laptops and the problem percists. I think the windows version is the common between the laptops.  Any ideas?

I de-autorized my computer and re-authorized it. Now I can't open any of my ebooks regardless of whether they had drm or not. I had previosely had my computer running without a authorization.  Can anyone help me?

I get books from my local library via acsm files and this has been working fine for years.  For the past week I've been getting the following error: Unable to downloadError getting License. License Server Communication Problem:E_LIC_LICENSE_SIGN_ERROR I have de-authorised and re-authorsised ADE several times, uninstalled and reinstalled several times, including deleting all directories in my profile and the Adept key in the registry.  Nothing is working.  I've been re-downloading the acsm files each day as I realise that they expire. I'm using ADE 4.5.11.187303 on Windows 11. Any other ideas? 

Using Windows 11 / I have been using ADE with mo problems until today cannot downl;oad library book. Tried deauthorising and then reinstalling still no joy Tried follwing instruction to delete adapt key file still no joy/ Cav anyone help please? Thanks

Hello.I bought some books on Google play.However, I can not load the book by using the Adobe Digital Editions. Adobe Digital Editions shows some error messages. E_GOOGLE_DEVICE_LIMIT_REACHEDE_ADEPT_NO_FULFILLMENT_RESULT I talked with the online staffs and they all ran away rudely. They can not solve my problems.

Vous devez autoriser votre liseuse à nouveau avec votre Adobe ID en utilisant Adobe Digital Editions (ADE). Pour en savoir plus, consulter help.kobo.com".Il m'a bien vite semblé que le problème ne venait pas de ma liseuse mais de l'autorisation sur mon ordinateur, car pour pouvoir autoriser le livre, il faut utiliser une Adobe ID qui ne correspond pas à celle que j'utilise actuellement, et pour cause, la première fois que j'ai ouvert le livre (et cela fonctionnait), c'était sans Adobe ID. Le message apparaissant lorsque j'essaie d'autoriser le livre avec mon Adobe ID est : "le compte fournisseur spécifié n'est pas associé à l'élément que vous essayez d'ouvrir. Veuillez réessayer".Je me demande donc ce qu'il faut que je fasse pour re-obtenir un livre qui n'a pas été ouvert une première fois sans Adobe ID

Le produit est installer sur un Mac, lorsque je veut lire un livre, une fenêtre s'ouvre " Autorisation nécessaire, cet ordinateur n'est pas autorisé à ouvrir le livre car cet élément requiert une autorisation avec un ID de fournisseur" Lorsque je rentrer mes ID j'ai un message d'erreur : "Le compte fournisseur spécifié n'est pas associé à l'élément que vous essayer d'ouvrir. Veuillez réessayer. Pouvez-vous m'aider ? Je ne possède q'un compte... Comment faire pour lire les livres ? Depuis quelques jours je possède un nouveau Mac, Est-il possible de lire les livres sur les deux ordinateurs ? comment ?

Good Evening.I have one account where i have buyed 1 Book (account EMAIL1)i have another account (account EMAIL2) where i have buyed other 3-4 books (i forgot i have already buyed the book on another account) how i merge both account in one ? actually i use one account on PC and other on IPAD ... but i fell bad to see some book on one device and some in another.. thanks in advance

Hi, I have textbooks and exam kits on Adobe Digital Editions. Anyone know when the bug on iPadversion will be corrected, there is blank pages and the text fads or is not visible on a page. I especially need my textbooks on my iPad to work. I upgraded to iOS 16 and have re-installed the app. But still the same thing.

I'm beyond annoyed at this point! Apparently one-on-one live support is not available for ADE, and I can't find the answer on any of the forums! I've been trying for days to open an E-textbook I bought. Today I received a new error code E_ADEPT_UNKNOWN while trying to open the ACSM file. I've tried deauthorizing and reauthorizing. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. I've tried deleting and redownloading the ACSM file. Nothing has worked! I'm on an HP laptop, running ADE 4.5 on Windows 10. I need access to this book for an assignment. Please help!

I got E_LIC_LICENSE_SIGN_ERROR when trying to open file. What is that ? How to solve it?

I have the Adobe Digital Editions installed on my Macbook but anytime I try to download an ebook to the app, I get this error message: E_LIC_LICENSE_SIGN_ERROR. Can anyone help with how to resolve this? 

Hello there,Adobe Digital Editions 4.5, last version, doesn't work on my MacBook. I get the colored wheel turning on and I cannot do anything.Is there a way to make it work or an alternative to Adobe Digital Editions, in order to read my .acsm books ?Thanks in advance

Unfortunately, there is some chaos with my Adobe id's and uuids. I used to have a pocketbook, that somehow created multiple Adobe id's through the pocketbook cloud. When that Pocketbook broke a few years ago I got a used Tolino E-reader that I somehow needed to connected to a different ID (I guess because it didn't connect to the pocketbook IDs?)  I don't remember what I did there, I just remember that it was confusing but that I somehow got it to work with the ability to have all my books on that device. So last week I also lost that e reader and wanted to install ADE on my smartphone to access my books from there but I can't figure out what is the right ID. ADE on my computer is still connected to the right ID but in the authorizing information I can only see the uuid that it's connected to but not the email address. And that is a different uuid than any of the three that are somehow connected to the pocketbook cloud that I can still access (without any of my books).&n

I am attempting to add a book (acsm) to my library and am getting an error E_LIC_LICENSE_SIGN_ERROR. I have tried uninstalling (via Windows Control Panel) and re-installing, unauthorizing and reauthorizing, deleting the Windows registry key, resetting my Adobe password. I have also tried a different computer. I have contacted support and they have advised that I should post here as there is a cleaner tool for Digital Editions and that someone from support will assist. 

cannot downlod e book getting error.e_lic_licence_ sign_errorsolution please?

I tried to return a book using Adobe Digital Editions and it gave me this error: e_lic_license_sign_error I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, I then tried to download a new book and I got the same error saying unable to download.

i struggle to open ACSM-file in digital edition. I use a iMac 11.6.6. The error is something about license sign in error.i have tried the re-authorising solution posted in earlier posts on this subject, but no success.

My ebooks download with extension .acsm.  I connect my Kobo eReader.  I open the .acsm file with Adobe Digital Editions.  I get "Error: Check Activation".  Adobe Technical support cannot help and refer me to this forum.

I cannot open my ebook with DRM protected, it show a error message called E_ ADEPTNO_FULFILLMENT RESULT The adobe customer service do not help me solving it. Could anybody give me some advise? Thanks! PS. I open google books(DRM) with digital edition have this problem, but I used return kobo ebooks is normal and correctly open ebooks.
