I can read my docs in dark modus and night modus as well, but not in modus b/w. what can i do?

I have Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.  Every time I try to open it is gets stuck at "loading library" - I have Windows 10.  Can anyone help me?

My adobe digital editions is authorized with an adobe id that no longer exists (its my email spelled incorrectly, perhaps I noticed when I created the account and changed it but it didn't update on my computer). When I try to erase the authorization, it says the password is incorrect (although it works for my real email online). When I try to loggin to Adobe using the incorrect email, it says there is no account with that email. I also tried to deinstall and reinstall adobe digitatl editions. Unfortunately, it automatically had the authorization.  All this is preventing me from accessing books that I bought. How can I udpate the authorization? Or how can I contact someone in Adobe to deal with this problem? 

Ich hatte immer mit ADE 3 meine Bücher importiert. Seit gestern funktioniert ADE 3 nicht mehr. Habe die neuere Version downgeloaded. Auch nach Befolgung aller Tipps, Autorisierung löschen und neu autorisieren lässt sich das Buch nicht öffnen. Mein Kobo schreibt mir, ich muss das Buch erst wieder über ADE importieren. Was ich ja gemacht habe. Ich weiß echt nicht weiter. Vielleicht kann mir wer helfen. 

Was unable to open an ADE book that was down loaded to MacBook from Library and transferred to Kobo.  Said not authorized and couldn't open book!  So I unauthorized my kobo thinking I could try signing in again but no option to do so then downloaded 4.5 ADE but still cannot re authorize my kobo After calling both Adobe and call Kobo help desk they had me trash 4.5 but then 3.0 was not accessible and  told me there is a compatiblity issue   with Catalina OS  help!!

Digital Editions v4.5.11 Crashing on Monterey v12.1, M1 MacBook ProAnyone getting a crash on the latest update? I can't even get a error report screen. Sorry Adobe, I hate Digital Editions so very much, but Overdrive / Library make it compulsory bloatware.R

I just download the newest version of aDE and deleted the old version.  When i try to download an Epub from Omni libraries, it does not load the epub as a book, but opens a file box on my computer. Do I need to reauthorize the ADE and what is the process to do so.

Hello. I just recently bought a new computer and I would like to share/transfer my e-book collections from my old one to my new computer. I am using Adobe Reader 7 to read my digital editions in my Mac computer. However, when I try to activate my new computer, I have a message saying that I am over the limit of activated devices. When I look at my activated devices, it looks like 5 of them are the same computer. I think what happens is that I have to re-boot (re-format) my computer couple of times when it is having a problem consequently, I have to activate Adobe Reader on the same computer a couple of times. Is there a way that I could de-activate a device (delete 4 of those activations) so I have a free space to activate my real computer? Also, I installed Adobe Digital Editions 1x5 in my old computer, and the Digital Editions from my Adobe Reader doesn't recognize my e-books. I am not sure what is happening? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Jane

I am trying to read an epub text which has lots of very important figures in it, and all I can see are postage stamp sized versions of them.  How can I enlarge them to a useful size?  Also, the apparent links (in blue text) for figures do not do anything when clicked.  I am extremely underwhelmed by my first experience with Adobe Digital Editions...

J'ai un nouvel ordi.  Donc dans Adobe Digital Etion, sous Aide, et Info sur l'autorisation, il n'y a rien.  Mes informations doivent surement donc être quelque part dans mon compte Adobe. Où est-ce?  Est-ce que ID Adobe qui est demandé quand je veux Autoriser mon ordinateur, est mon adresse courriel, un identifiant que j'aurais créé? Je suis perdue. Merci pour votre aide

ive encountered an issue of the last several days using ADE, i use the application to view my reading materials for university and use the spoken content feature on mac to read it out to me, ive done this for over a year with no issues and since all of a sudden it doesnt read it out loud. the spoken content feature still works on other applications however not on ADE. if there is anyone who has had a similar issue i would really appreciate any help. thank you 

I downloaded and authorized digital editions. When I click on the acsm file in my folder, I get a messsage "None of your apps can open this file." I've tried de-authorizing and authorizing digital editions, restarting the phone, redownloading the file. None of that has helped.

ADE suddenly stopped connecting to the authorization server (one day working fine, next day not), and I am now unable to return any of my library books. I've read through MANY articles and forum posts, but most are years old and that might be why the suggested fixes didn't work. My machine is Win10 (completely up-to-date)I have full internet access (it's what I'm using right now), so connectivity should not be the issue.I've tried turning off my anti-virus and firewalls to see if that was blocking something. I deauthorized ADE v.3 but couldn't re-authorize so I tried upgrading to v.4.5 which made no difference.  Can anyone from Adobe give us some idea as to how the authorization process works so that we can at least have some idea what might be causing this issue?  I understand this is freeware but my local library only allows for downloads to ADE so there's no alternative. Any help gratefully received!

I've downloaded Digital Editions numerous times with the same result; it opens with a little box saying loading library. It never loads. I've removed the app and everything Adobe on my computer and try to reinstall. Always the same result? I tried running as administrator same result.I'm frustrated and out of ideas. Richard Horrocks, arichardhorrocks@hotmail.com.  The issue is the ADE Error message on downloading an ebook into ADE from a site such as KOBO. The message in ADE is "Error getting licence - E-LIC-ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER"

It seems to install just fine, but then when I try to launch it, nothing happens.I'm running windows 10 with all the latest updates as of today.-Installed after a fresh boot. -Followed the official troubleshooting help (uninstall and re-download using Edge instead of Chrome, then re-installed), Tried this 3X, still didn't run.On one of the (many) similar posts, somebody mentioned that they have a paid adobe subscription through work on a different email account, and this was causing them the same problem. The installed 4.5.11 on a different computer where they never use their work email account, and that resolved the issue. According to them, "the applications talk to each other in the background." I don't have this option. I use this desktop computer for both personal and work. I've paid for 2 ebooks and now can't read them on my PC because of this non-functional adobe 4.5.11 install issue. Help!

Ich habe letztens meine Mailadresse für den adobe Account gewechselt, damit konnte ich auch mein neuer PC neu bei ADE neu autorisieren. Nun kann ich aber keine Dokumente mehr öffnen, da das Anbieterkonto nicht mit der Datei verknüpft ist. Wie kann ich die Autorisierung durchführen?

Hallo,ich habe das Problem, dass bei meiner authorisierten Version von ADE auf dem iPad die Bibliothek leider nicht geladen wird.Auf dem PC, der ebenfalls authorisiert ist wird alles geladen und angezeigt.Auf iOS hat leider ein vollständiges Löschen der App und Neuinstallation nichts gebracht.Bitte um Unterstützung.

J'ai eu quelques problèmes et j'ai donc remis à jour mon système.J'ai dû réinstaller Adobe Digital Editions. Pour accéder à mes livres, l'application me demande un mot de passe. Comme je l'ai oublié, j'ai changé mon mot de passe sur le site d'Adobe. Hors, Adobe reconnait bien mon nouveau mot de passe mais pas Adobe Digital Editions. Quand je tente de me connecter, on me dit que "Le compte fournisseur spécifié n'est pas associé à l'élèment que vous essayez d'ouvrir. Veuillez réesayer".J'ai ressayé de changer plusieurs fois de mots de passe et d'adresses mails ainsi que de redémarrer. ça n'a rien donné. J'ai aussi essayé de me connecter sans Adobe ID mais je n'arrivais toujours pas à lire mes livres.Sous les conseils du chat Adobe, j'ai essayé de supprimer la clef Adept mais ça n'a toujours pas aider.J'ai contacté un bibliothécaire avec qu

my company has a vendor id, and we are wondering what would happen to existing accounts if we terminate the vendor id.Would the accounts created before the termination continue to work? Or would everything stop?Thanks in advance for your answers

I can't seem to use my account, nor am I able to erase the authorization. When attempting to open downloaded books, I get the error message "E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY_OR_PKCS12". I was told to de- and then re-authorize the device (Mac osX 10.13.6), but attempting to erase the authorization I also get an error message, "Unable to erase authorization. Please try after some time." Trying again doesn't work. I'm able to log on to my account on the Adobe website so shouldn't be a password issue. Any help?   

I am trying to open an acsm ebook from my public library online. It was working before, but now ADE gives me an"Error! Check Activation" message. So I check my activation and everything is in place. I Go to Deauthorize my computer. I put int he username and password (tested on the Adobe site), press the "Continue" button, Then I am given the option to "Erase Authorization". When I do that, it just comes back the the login screen and gives me a message that says "Unable to Erase Authentication. Please try again after some time." I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times, no change. Ideas?
