Digital Editions

My wife has a Sony PRS T2 reader but ‘borrowbox’ no longer allows downloads via reader for PC . So she downloaded the books to ADE and using file explorer, manually transferred the e pub file from ‘my digital editions’ to sony reader, media, books. Her ADE and reader for PC and the reader are all authorized with her adobe account but attempts to open the book give error DRM protected . I did this for my similar hardware a few months ago although ADE did not require authorization and books opened OK on the PRS T2 reader. Has ADE changed to prevent book opening? Any Ideas?

How can I get a changed Adobe-ID from ADE on my PC to the E-books on my 3 readers?I have a lot of E-books downloaded to ADE in my PC and then copied them to 3 readers. Now I have a new E-Mail Adress and need to change adobe-ID accordingly. But the old adobe-ID is present in all E-Books on the 3 readers. What do I need to do?

Hi All, digital editions has trouble with WIN11, I try to run it (also like admin) but nothing happen.The troble is that if I loose this installation, I loose also the possibility of reading my books. Too many activations, it seems and I cannot deactivate any of the old one because the devices died.Is some kind soul able to give suggestions or instruction to solve this trouble?Thanks a lot in advance,Michela

I bought an ebook from Macmillan Education eBookstore  . And I download the latest Adboe Digital Edition 4.5.5 , and I can download the sample ebooks. But when I open the book I bought, it says E-LIC-LICENSE-SIGN-ERROR, I can't download the book .  I desperately need your help, can you help me solve the problem? Thanks.

Hi, I downloaded Adobe Digital Editions to open an ebook and when I put my adobe ID and password it does not allow me to access. It says activation error server. ADEPT_REQUEST_EXPIRED.

Gisteren een e-book bibliotheek abonnement gekocht voor gebruik met mijn ereader Kobo Libra 2.Adobe D. E. (de laatste, 4.5.11) op mijn op Windows 10 (64b) Laptop, geinstalleerd en geautoriseerd. Tot zover alles ok, maar dan begint het drama!Kobo aangesloten en Adobe reageert dus niet meer. Geen autorisatie mogelijk dus. Als admin, geen effect. Pc uit en aan, koppelen en het programma loopt vast. Dus uninstal en ADE 3.0. Ook die deed niet wat ik wilde. De plofte er gewoon steeds uit. Op de Macbook alles gedaan, ook daar geen succes.De Kobo Libra is een van de laatste ereaders en veel verkocht. Toch begin ik te denken dat dit het probleem is. Weet iemand een oplossing?

I bought an eBook and wanted to access it using Adobe Digital Editions. However, when I was trying to authorize my computer, it kept telling me an error encountered with the activation server. The error code is E_ADEPT_VENDERID_HTTPERR. I have been trying for two days and there is still the same error.

Ich kann keine Bücher mehr hochladen. Ich habe versucht den eReader neu zu aktiviert und bekomme immer die Fehlermeldung, ich muss die Bücher neu importieren. Mache ich, geht aber trotzdem nicht. Das Konto auf meinem eReader hat eine andere mailadresse als die Autorisierung - kann das ein Problem sein? Ging allerdings noch bis vor 3 Wochen 😞

I have a Windows 7 environment.  I made a mistake with Digital Edition (DE) and its management of my authorization is totally screwed up.  I believe the only solution is to totally remove DE from my computer - I mean totally, that is, all records hid in the registry and anywhere else.  So my question is how can I do this because DE does not come with a remove option which I believe would have done this process correctly?  Until I can address this my computer is totally locked out of using DE.

 Hi, it's been more than two weeks that I cannot open any book. I get the message that I am not authorized. When I try to authorize my Kobe reader I get the message that I reached the number of the allowed mashines. I use only one reader. I spent too much time, I made factory reset and of course I lost everything and the problem is not solved. Any ideas?

How do I scroll continuously in Adobe Digital Editions? When I use the up and down arrow keys it switches pages, so that the only way I can see the bottom of pages is to zoom out so far that the whole page shows on the screen. This is really annoying!

How is it possible to transfer purchases from one account to another? Both accounts are mine. First is under personal email. Second is under college email. I have numerous files I purchased under one account (this one) over a period of ~5 years. However, very recently I must have created a second account thinking it was something else. Now my computer is authorized only for the second, but not for the first.Is it possible to either transfer my purchases from the one account to the other, or to possibly merge them? Thanks.

Error "Digital Editions could not connect to the fulfillment server. Please make sure you are connected to the internet.".This is the error which appears whenever I try to download a ebook .acsm file. My computers internet connection works just fine, I tried it on wifi and mobile data but this error still appears.

After formatting the HD I downloaded and installed Adobe Digital Edition again but among the books purchased some have disappeared and others are "missing"Can you help me? Thanks

I am trying to view my purchased eBook (from eBook.com) in ADE. However, in ADE, it only displays the top half of each page. I have tried to change any sizing and viewing options under the 'Reading' menu, but nothing is working. Under that same 'Reading' menu, I can only view my eBook in the ePUB format (in the 'Reading' menu), as all the PDF opions are grey and I am unable to press on any of them. Please help!

Hello, I have a lot of problems opening the external links of the books that we have produced because by default the browser that ADE uses is Internet Explorer and the support of IE11 for windows has ended on June 15, 2022. This causes some of the links they do not work. Is it possible to change the browser that ADE uses to open the links?

Since I migrated to my IPad 6 mini, from my IPad 4 mini, I have been unable to read books, including the ADE Usera Manual, due to missing pages or parts of pages, I have upgraded to the latest version of ADE. WHat can be done to correct this issue?

Ciao a tutti, non riesco ad autorizzare il mio ebook a leggere un file protetto, nonostante abbia autorizzato il dispositivo dal pc. Ho provato in tutti i modi a risolvere il problema seguendo le linee guida sul sito, incluso disinstallare Adobe Digital Edition e l'ebook, ma il problema persiste.Grazie in anticipo a chi può essermi d'aiuto.

I am using Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.11.  I have downloaded books from our local library to my laptop. The computer is authorized as is my KOBO Aura One reader. I can read the borrowed books on my computer. When I look at 'My Books' on my Kobo, I see the books but the cover is black and when I try to open the book it states I am not authorized, DRM etc. I have gone back to the start a few times, deleted the books in question and cancelled the authorization on my laptop and reader, restarted  from the initial download from the library and still no luck. I even re-initialized the kobo and re-installed ADE. I don't know what else I can do. I have a MAC running under Catalina.HELP please!!!!!

Problème de communication avec le serveur de licence E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY_OR_PKCS12".Je précise que j'ai téléchargé Adobe reader 4.5 car la version en .3 n'affichait plus rien alors qu'elle fonctionnait parfaitement auparavant.Merci de votre réponse.
