Digital Editions

Greetings, I'm unable to authorise digital editions with my Adobe-ID. I verified that the password and mail adress are correct by logging in online. However Digital Editions claims the ID or password to be wrong. Does anyone know how to solve this? I'm Using 2FA for my Adobe-ID on Adobe Digital Editions Version 4.5.11.187303 on Windows 10 (System buid 19042.1466) Hopefully anyone know how to sort this out.  Best wishes.

I bought a book and can see it on my Apple iMac but it shows over the whole screen (27") and cannot do anything except scroll to the next page. There are no buttons to change settings. I had to use Adobe digital Editions 4.5 to be able to watch  the book. 

I am unable to see my Kobo Arc 7 reader from digital editions. I have a MacBook Pro running bootcamp. I have installed digital editions on both the OSX and the Windows 7 operating system. Digital editions does not recognize my connected Kobo on either system. 

Hey there, I've been having a problem authorizing my EPUB 3.2 books from Overdrive on my eReader device--looking into, it seems that there's a crucial error wherein the authorization token often isn't being written onto the device from ADE (4.5.11) when transfering; this happens both on MacOS and Windows. I've tried several varieties of EPUB and it seems like this is only occuring with v3.2 (this never has happened with any of my v2.0 EPUBs at all). Has anyone else experienced this/is this a known error with ADE?

I just downloaded adobe digital editions. When I go to download my library book and open it with the program I get a message "error check activation". Help I don't know what to do. Everything is authorized but I don't know how I correct the error.

How do I opt out of the Adobe product improvement program?I'm told to go to my Adobe program, click on help, etc.I've disabled Acrobat Reader DC and the only other Adobe program that I use is ADE. I clicked on help there to no avail.

I am trying to troubleshoot an error of :Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem:E_ACT_NOT_READYAccording to other feedback you need to erase authorization and then redo it to get this error to go away.  My issue is that when the window opens for (command-shift-D  and it has my Authorized user correct, and asks for password.  I input my Adobe password and says it is the incorrect password.  I have gone onto the main Adobe site and changed my password; reloaded Adobe digitial editions; restarted computer...Still get the same error when I try and download a book.  Any ideas?Even tried to do command-shift-u  which is supposed to open the authorization window, this does not work.

Hi, I cant login to the adobe digital editions app on android as it throws an error of max devices.In Plans&Payments -> Activated devices, it lists none, though.Can you deactive all the devices so i can log back in? Thanks.

I try to read my books today but many pages will not be showing. It shows a blank page, refreshing does not help. Some documents are blank. What happend? Was this because of an update? I work on iPadOS 15.2.1 and ADE 4.5.11.18.74.80 and posted on 23-1-2022 at 11:03.

Downloaded books from the library are not appearing on ADE Bookshelf in order to transfer to  NOOK.

I just downloaded Digital Editions to a new laptop. When I connect my Kobo, Digital Editions does not seem to recognize any of the books bought through Kobo, only books I bought/borrowed through other sites. How do I get the missing books from my Kobo to display in the Library?

After a couple of months of effort, my wife has been unable to get a library book onto the Kobo e-Reader via Adobe Digital Editions. I am now trying to figure out the problem......ADE does not recognize the Kobo e-Reader that is to say the Kobo does not show up as an icon on the Bookshelf of ADE. So there is no way to transfer the book onto it.I have tried uninstalling the ADE and reinstalling to see if it would then recognize the e-Reader to no avail.The ADE is "authorized" and the Kobo reader is recognized by the computer as evidenced by it showing up with a drive letter in "MY Computer".Assistance requested and appreciated.Thanks

"I cannot authorise the reader from Adobe Digital Editions althought I introduce my Adobe id. It appears the error message that says " You have to authorise again your ereader with the id by using Adobe Digital Editions". 

I bought a book from Irwinlaw website. I was advised to use Adobe because it's an ACSM file. I followed all the steps from downloading ADE, authorizing the computer, then I tried to open the ACSM file and it showed the error message: Unable to download Error message E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER. I have tried unauthorizing computer, uninstall ADE, install again and authorized again. But nothing works. I'm quite desperated now. Please if anyone knows how to fix this, kindly help me!!!

I need to select text for highlighting, and the curser will not function to select text. I'm using Version 4.5.11.187606 of Digital Editions on a Macbook Pro using OS 12.1. Any help appreciated!Thanks!

Hello! We sell a wholesale book (B2B), and our clients give the book to their customers. Everyone wants an eBook version. What would be the best way to do this? We've tried many options. Basically, it would be a client buying multiple copies of the same eBook, and being able to give one copy to each of their customers. Thank you for any advice!

Los e-books estan cargados en el programa sin embargo cuando cierro el programa e intento abrirlo otro día, las caratulas de libros no se ven y parece vacia la biblioteca, sin embargo cuando intento cargarlos nuevamente me emite un aviso que el libro ya esta cargado, no se como verlo, gracias 

Hi there,I have the newest version of Digital Editions (just downloaded it today) but I am having an issue where all of my highlighting and notes disappear every time I close the application! Is there a way I can recover the highlights and notes that I've lost, and is there a way for me to prevent them from disappearing in the future? Thanks in advance.

Is there a way to access different colour highlighters? I only have yellow but would like to have a few more.  Thanks

Hola, he comprado una tablet (android) y he instalado el programa Adobe Digital Editions. Ya he hecho la autorización en ADE con mi id de adobe. Pero cuando he ido a bajar mis ebooks de la página de Casa del Libro (con un fichero acsm), me dice que hay un error con la licencia. En algun libro me pone en el mensaje "E_ADEPT_REQUEST_EXPIRED" y en algún otro "E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER". No se qué tengo que hacer para poder bajarme, y leer, esos ebooks. Muchas gracias
