Dimension

When I open an new file, dimension told me to restart. If I open the old file, it is black in the view port and can't see any models. I even remove the app and reinstall the app, still the same. Cound you help me on this?  

Cant open any old files in newest version of Adobe Dimension. When downloading the old version of Dimension it works fine? 

After choosing the Match Image function the Loading dialog box just keeps cycling. The image is a png. I can't  escape or do any other functions, except quit. 

So i've been working on a render to redo my room. I've had 0 problem un untill yesterday where when i try to open the dimension file, its says unabvle to open. other files i have will open but not that one. I tried retarting my laptop, opening a new file and importing as a 3d object, but all to no avail. I’m running into an issue with Dimensions. Every time I try to open a file that I previously worked on, the program is unable to open the document, which makes it impossible for me to rework or continue editing past files.I'm unable to upload the working file into this panel but im attaching the log and notification screenshot. I’m attaching the file along with the log for reference. Could you please help me with opening this file?

Hello! I'm trying to wrap a label around a glass jar with a candle inside but I am getting these odd repetitive reflections of the label in the glass (see rendering) Any ideas??

I bought a 3d model from CGTrader and dowloaded the OBJ version but whenever I try to import the file this is the error it shows.

Most of the Adobe CC apps allow installation of multiple versions fo the software. This is quite helpful for maintianing ongoing workflow and being able to test the new version of an app without any hiccups migrating to the latest. For instance I keep Illustrator 2023 installed for a specific plugin I need sometimes but have updated to 2024 and then to 2025 over time for their new features and my daily work.   Dimension does not allow this - or at least the CC app doesn't give me the option. I would love to start exploring Version 4 and migrating to it but I can't afford to not be able to continue working in V3. I intitally tried V4 when it came out but it was completely unusable. It looks like fixes have come out to solve those initial problems, but I don't want to have to go through the update/revert process to find out. I have to rely on V3 to continue my daily work. Especially with the new render engine I need to keep visual consistency with projects I have star

Hi everyone,Since this week, all of my exported 3D files from Adobe Dimension 4.1.4 have stopped showing textures. Whether I export as .glb or .gltf, the results are colorless or the export fails completely..glb and .gltf: open as plain gray, no materials showing in Blender or 3D Viewer.usdz: shows the error “Something went wrong while exporting your scene” (screenshot attached)Finder previews also show the .glb files as .usdz with a “Locked” label underneathFiles with imported models from other programs still display textures fine, the problem only happens with materials created in DimensionEverything was working perfectly until recently. If I have an object in Dimension, e.g. some packaging, and then add textures + branding to it... can I then export that and import it into another 3D application? Or would all the textures be lost when exporting to a more generic format?

I'm new to Dimension and trying to figure out a good work flow when using multiple objects in one file. I'm essentially building a box packaging mockup, which then is placed 3x5 (25 packs) in a tray, and then stacked 5x5 (25 trays, 625 packs) on a crate. As I build my file, it freezes and is too big. How should I change my flow of work to avoid super heavy files?

Hello, Wondering if anyone else has been running into this glitch with the most recent version of Dimension (v4.1.1) but a good majority of the files that I work with will remove my graphic layers entirely on all of the models in my file when I save my document. I've also tried "Save As..." a new file entirely in a new location and I still run into the issue. Like I said, I'm using Dimension v4.1.1 and I'm on a MacBook Pro 16-inch running the Sequoia 15.2 OS. Thanks!

I’m experiencing a problem I’ve never had before. In the latest version of Dimension, released last month, I can’t turn off the background color, nor can I export/render a PNG with a transparent background. When I try rendering to PSD and open the file in Photoshop, there is always just one merged layer (object + background). This forces me to manually select the object and create a new layer without the background. Should I revert to the previous version of Adobe Dimension? All I need is to export/render simple objects without a background, but it seems that this option is no longer available. Thank you in advance for your support!
