Download & Install

On January 13, 2010, I bought Adobe Creative Suite 4 Design Premium. I have a new computer and lost my backups. I want to download the software I already paid for. I don't want to install Creative Cloud (this is seriously one of the most annoying apps I have to deal with at work, it's constantly glitching and forgetting credentials and popping up when I'm trying to work on other things; I don't want to repeat this experience on my personal time, thanks). I can see in my Adobe account that it's registered and I have the serial number. I just want to get the same thing that I've been using very occasionally for 15 years. How can I go about doing this?

Im having the same trouble but repairing doesn't work. It just reinstalls Creative Cloud, which still can't initialize and asks to be relaunched and then to be repaired. If I can just get it to work long enough to uninstall the rest of my apps then I can uninstall this app and change to a different machine. My productivity has gone to zero over the past 2 weeks due to these issues. Help.

I am running the latest version on a Windows 11 system. This has been going on for a few weeks. The app has been running fine since I got the computer almost two years ago.

I have an older laptop that I've had to wipe a couple of times and now I want to get rid of it.  I want to activate the license on my new laptop.  I went to reinstall my Photoshop CS3 after the second wipe and it wouldn't let me activate the license to deactivate the license.I did install the program on my new laptop because I needed it but wasn't able to activate the license to get updates.  I know I can put it on two computer but I also have it installed on my desktop.Anyone have an idea about what to do?  Or should I just update to the latest version?Thanks for your help!

Hello,I´m a Photoshop user since the start 1987 (on a Mac SE) who bumped in to problems following how my Mac Book needed to be replaced.I changed my email address more than 10 years ago and as my computer and my Adobe programs were working I didn't even think about the fact that all my Adobe purchases were linked to my old address. When my computer broke down I got a new one with the same operating system and I installed a Mac Time Machine backup copy of my hard drive including my Adobe software (PS and IL).But my Adobe programs are not working. 😞They are asking for my product license keys-  but when I enter them - I get an error message. I tried to solve the problem by creating a new Adobe account with my current email address and then register my existing and valid licenses but the system says "this serial number is already in use".But the “already in use”-user is me myself so I end up in a Moment-22 lope. As the old computer and the old email is

Hello, I use Lightroom 4 for many years, even it has not new improuvment, I am loving it. I have to change my Macbook, I will get MacOS Big Sur. I realy dont want to pay a subscription for Lightroom...  Is there a possibility to install Lightroom 4 on Big Sur ? Or to get Lightroom 6 ?  Thanks for your helpt, best regradsMarc

The Creative Cloud Desktop app takes too much space on my computer. Can apps be installed without install CC Desktop app?

Hallo, nach einer Neuinstallation der Creative Cloud sowie LR und LRC ist keine Anmeldung möglich. Ich erhalte immer die Ausschrift, dass eine Anmeldung erforderlich sei und ich mich anmelden soll. Wenn ich das anklicke erhalte ich immer wieder die gleiche Ausschrift (siehe Anhang). Was kann ich hier tun?

Getting the error “We can’t reach the Adobe servers” error for both creative cloud and lightroom installation. This is not an internet issue, latest update installed (Mac Pro M1 Ventura), tried both App store and installer downloaded from profile, no firewall, no antivirus, tried 2 different connections, with and without 1.1.1.1 DNS. 

Hi I have an old dvd and it wont open as it says I need adobe shockwave which isnt around anymore. Any ideas how i can play this?thanks

I opened my Creative Cloud app this morning to check for updates and it was unable to show the updates or my programs. I tried closing and reopening three times. Same result. I restarted my computer. Same issue. I uninstalled the Creative Cloud app and downloaded a new installer from Adobe. Now the new download won't install. The message I get reads: Microsoft Edge can't read or write to it's data directory. I guess this is a Microsoft problem and not Adobe. See attachment for error. If anyone has experienced this error please let me know how you corrected the problem.  Thanks very much.

Need help now is 2025, already check across all the website to find this Adobe Acrobat 9 installer but coudn't found. Can anyone please share with me this installer it really will help me a lot 😭

Hi all,In the 'For You' & 'Discover' pages of Behance—I can no longer hide or filter projects like I used to. I think I could once hover over their cover images and select, "don't show me this in future" or something. Can't do it on Windows or Mac—in Firefox or Safari. Is it a temporary bug?Thanks,John

It do managed to sign me in BUT the installation process is very very very slow.After a few hours Photoshop is at ~78%It's something new and before that I had no problems, also on this SAME computer!

Hi everybody,Since yesterday it is impossible to sign in the desktop CC app. An error message says "You've been signed out" Impossible to identify your ID, try to reconnect with your Adobe ID... (message translated from French).When I hit sign in it has no effect, it stays on the the same screen.Now I have error messages for my installed apps (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc...)I have downloaded the latest version of Creative Cloud Desktop and I tried to reinstall but it didn't work.I tried to uninstall and it didn't work neither (Applications are used by CC...)I tried to follow the process deleting the content of the OOBE folder without success neither!This is my tool, I am stuck.I am on Mac OS Sierra 10.12.3, Creative Cloud is up to date

Hi. Can you tell me why the download button in After Effects is not available to me? I updated my macbook's operating system to the latest one. The laptop is 1 year old, so it's almost new. What could be the problem?

I changed the language from italian to english, changing the: it_IT content into this:after_effects_it_IT.dat.oldThis is the Path  C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe After Effects 2025\Support Files\Dictionaries Problem is, it looks fine until I open the effects. Main effects folders are all in English BUT the actual effects are in Italian. Is it just a bug? Glad if someone can help me out. Thanks a lot in advance!

I want to use my adobe programs on the new computer. But when i sign into the same account on my new computer, it only gives the option for purchase and free trial.How do I get my programs from my old computer to my new one?Provided are screenshots showing what they look like on both computers.btw:1. I checked all of the "activated devices." there are none appearing, but i still have access to programs on my old computer 2. The programs were aquired from my school paying for them, but they went to my personal gmail account, not my school account3. Despite having access to all adobe programs, the account is listed as having a free membership.

Hi, I wanted to be able to change only the language to ENGLISH after effects 2020 mac. Other Adobe programs in Spanish.

I had a version of adobe acrobat I bought and had on a now old computer.  I tried using the old serial number for my new computer and it says it is already in use.  So I bought a new license but every time I open the Adobe Acrobat app, it shows the old serial number and won't accept the new serial number.  i tried uninstalling/installing and restarting with no avail.

I am getting configuration error 16, and the solution is to change permissions on the Adobe PCD folder... however, I don't have that folder. And before you ask, I also missing the SLStore folder...
