Dreamweaver

Hi All.  mm:beginlock and mm:endlock are popping up in my DOM panel surrounding my include for my navbar:  mm:beginlock<!--#include file="nav.shtml"-->mm:endlock I have read that it is an error.  It could be happening because of a translation file on my compuiter or in dreamweaver itself. I deleted Dreamweaver 2021 and then downloaded it from cloud again. I did download microsoft speech recognizer 8.0 for windows a while back.  I can't find it except under speech recognition.  I did take it off of the startup menu.   Has anyone come accross this issue and if so how did you get around it.  Thanks PS:  I did change my account name and pic just FYI. 

Hello, Another one of hose small problems that hopefully someone will spot the solutino to quickly! With the nav bar on this http://bit.ly/35JmVIJ everything works fine on desktop view, but when it collapses to the hamburger menu (or mobile menu if you prefer) the links aren't aligned. There's a screenshot attached just to make the issue clearer if need be. Any help gratefully received!

is it possible to download dreamweaver 2019, I need it because older extensions don't work on 2021 and 2020

Hello, One of those problems that you keep looking at but can't see the answer when to someone else it'l lbe pretty obvious I hope! There is a video gallery at the bottom of this site http://bit.ly/35JmVIJ which works fine on desktop and seems fine until it gets down to mobile width, at which point a few gaps appear above it, the gallery collapses and the footer strangerly looses it's background colour and the images in the footer range left instead of being central. I've attached a couple of screenshots which giev an idea of what is going on, hopefully they'll be of use. Any help gratefully received! 

Unusual question. I would like to configure DW CC/2021 to utilize a Tab character instead of Enter to select options from the pop-up context menu when editing code. I would like to do this because I also work a lot in Visual Studio and it uses the Tab key to make a selection from an Intelli-Sense popup when writing code. I bounce back and forth all the time -- writing frontend web content in DW and using Visual Studio for my server-side components. I have mined through DW settings / preferences and there does not appear to be a setting for this operation. Has anyone seen a way to configure this?

After updating to V21.1 Real Time Preview can no longer be toggled from the lower right corner option. When clicked it just grays out the DW menu bar. Can open from the menu bar fine. Running on Mac using OS Big Sur 11.1.

Hello everyone, I did my website in 2006 in Dreamweaver, but I am wondering what everyone uses today for web design? There was no classes on Dreamweaver in Adobe Max 2020... Is it bcomeing irrelivant? Thanks in advance 🙂 

As the title implies, since upgrading to Dreamweaver CC 2017 and then 2017.0.1, I've had issues with the Background File Activity (BFA) window displaying files properly, as well as synchronization completing its task in full.  First, when I'm synchronizing site files it only lists a small percentage of the actual files in the BFA window, then truncates the list and fails to show anything after...it's just a partial list.  The sync action (usually) continues to perform as I can see it working at the bottom of the right-hand column within the program.  But if there are errors during the process or files don't all sync, I have no no way of seeing what they are because the BFA window never updates the list after it becomes truncated.  As well, saving a log from the BFA window just results in the same truncated list within the log file...it's a partial list that fails to provide me the actual information I need.  Here is a screencap of the truncation within the BFA

I am trying to setup a site in Dreamweaver 2021.  When I add my server creds and try to connect I get an error: These same creds connect to my server through Filezilla and Terminal.  No idea what's going on.  Tried using IP as well as URL.

Since the June update of Dreamweaver it is almost impossible to use.  The delay when you type anything is ridiculous, 3-4 seconds responsiveness to a mouse click, typing very slow etc.  I have seen lots of posts about this going back a couple of years but there seems to be no answer.  Please help, I am trying to earn a living here.

I have the latest Dreamweaver installed and I do a lot of editing via FTP my question is why does it take so long to load up? Other html editors load lightning fast the old style Dreamweaver before you all went to this newer version MONTHLY PAYMENT VERSION would load instantly! Dont you all benchmark your scripts for performance? Slim it down and speed it up or find out what is making it so slow to respond it's not my computer or internet connection either. Maybe I am doing something wrong I sure hope someone has a fix for this problem.

Under Big Sur Dreamweaver 21 shows in the projectlist of the files-window (after klicking on the projectselect field) not only drives and projects but additional "drives" with the extension ".backup". The names of these "drives" are corresponding with the Backupdirectories on my timemaschine-drive.Why shows Dreamweaver that and why the extension ".backup"? When in v18 even with the box unchecked to view as temp file, dreamweaver still shows as temp file. I deleted the winfilecache file to no avail. When I click the browser button I want dreamweaver to open the file ON the website.

Hi All.  I have been reading about sliders (carousels) and the hero image.  The hero image seems like a more SEO friendly choice. I'm not fond of a huge image but I understand that it is best for mobile as well. Anybody have any input on either?
