Hi,The row of icons wraps when it hits mobile phone view where there is an undesirable gap of space between these two lines.Cannot recall how to specifically target and control them in order to reduce the space of the gap within this screen view.Can you suggest anything?Thank you!

At the recommendation of my host provider, I recently updated my website from http:// to a secure website https://. At the time I did this I did not anticipate that it would break all the old http:// slideshow links I had imbedded in i-frames. After finding an replacing almost 300 instances of http: with https: the website is 99% back to normal. However, I still get a "Secure warning" dialog box on more than 60 pages of photography slide-shows. See below.The dialog box times out in approximately 10 seconds and disappears.After hours of trying to determine how to fix theses slide shows, I have determined that the common denominator is that the slide shows that give this warning were all created with older slide show tools. I plan to update my website to responsive design in the near future whereby I will recreate these slide shows. However, is there any way to suppress the display of the warning dialog until I update my website. It appears to have no affect on the slide shows displaying

My computer crashed and I had to reinstall Dreamweaver.  I can change the files on the local computer, but they will not upload to the website.Can someone help me with the settings so that this will again work for me?

Hey all,I have what I hope is an easy question.  I've just started using dreamweaver for my website.  My old software just wasn't doing what I wanted, so I've redesigned from the ground up.  I've done some searching and can't seem to find an answer.  I've created my index page, and I want to use it as a template for other pages in the site.  I don't have any problems making the template, but when I create a new page from that template, I lose the background images for my page and containers.  The images I've got on the template are still there, but all of the backgrounds are gone.  The backgrounds show in the template preview, but aren't on the page.  Basically, I want the template so I can make changes to my navigation menu, which is on every page, and not have to do it one each page.Where I'm still designing the site, I haven't published it anywhere yet, it's still all local.  The paths all look like they're pointing to the right folders a

Hi zusammen,seit ein paar Wochen habe ich das Problem, dass DW jedes Mal abstürzt, wenn ich die suchen/ersetzen Funktion nutzen will.Ich arbeite am MAC mit der neuesten Version. Hatte das Problem aber auch schon bei der Vorversion.Sowohl über die Tastenkombination als auch über das Menü. Beim "nur suchen" stürzt das Programm nicht ab.Hat jemand eine Idee?Viele Grüße Markus

you know i have been happily using dreamweaver with my wp site for ever. i bough the cs5 version when it came out. my problems all started when i upgraded to DW CC. now all of a sudden nothing works, everything is complicated.design view doesn’t work you tell him, use a browser. this is bullshit. DW CC comes with zero tech support and a bunch of bored ex DW guys who are negative and useless as tits on a bull.and not not all wp sites are just blogs. like mine they have a blog and pages in php like a normal website. you know, static pages, you upload them and forget them.thint’s like web pages, programs like DW CC are all getting much harder to use fir normal everyday small business who are forced by greedy web developers to DIY the entire thing.all of of a sudden i can’t see my php pages properly. well, [vulgarity removed by moderator], ive been seeing them just fine for years, now i can’t.

I've read a couple forum post on how to get rid of this and they aren't working. first one says go to preferences and turn off "enable descriptive tooltips" - didn't work. the other suggestion was to go to view- design view options- visual aids- css layout box model. this didn't work either. this stupid box is driving me crazy it covers my code and scrolling doesn't get rid of it. How do i get rid of this? Ive attached a screen grab so everyone sees how annoying this thing is.

Hi,I've recently been using the latest Dreamweaver 2019 and the linting has completely changed. I've followed the process of going to manage sites and changing, for example, no-console to 0 (I don't want to be warned about using console.log. This makes no difference., I should state that I don't use sites, no need to, never will. I drag and drop HTML, CSS, JS etc into Dreamweaver from a multitude of locations. How do I get Global Lint settings that affect any file I'm editing regardless of where it resides?Surely I don't have to revert to DW 2018? If I do, how do I do that?Thanks

I haven't been able to open Dreamweaver in over 2 weeks.  I click on the application to open it, but nothing opens.  When I check my task manager, it shows that the program is running but I'm unable to access it.  I have uninstalled it and re-installed it from the Adobe website twice, and I'm still not able to open the application.  I was using it fine for several weeks before this started happening.  I am running Windows 7.  Any help would be very much appreciated.  Thanks.

My biggest problem with all DW-versions since 2013 was opening a page. Sometimes it opens to the page I want to see + the code. But just as often I get a blank page + the code. Since it happens in all those DW-versions I think I am doing something wrong. I click on view>split>code+design. And again. Or code + live. And again and again and so on. Sometimes suddenly the page appears and I can work in it, but just as often I have to shut DW down after innumerable clicks and get myself a bar of chocolate and I kick something or other and resign myself to not working on the website today. Hopefully another day it will work. Or not. It is the reason I still work in DW 2013. Just to stay sane.Whatever I click, the green V is next to code+live. Which seems to be because it is a responsive page and 'design' cannot work with it anymore in the versions after 2013. But the times when it suddenly starts to show, my last click was always on code+design. Maybe I will feel dumb again when I hear

Solved - Missing UI at startup, re: Dreamweaver CC 2019 build 11193Windows 7 PCThe ProblemRecently updated to Dreamweaver CC 2019 but at startup the entire screen was missing the familiar menus and buttons. The only items that rendered on the screen were the active Window icons to close, minimize or expand the window.Tried restarting PC, uninstalling and reinstalling Dreamweaver. Checked graphic card drivers. Also ran Adobe's CC cleaner. But this failed to correct the problem. Work-Around By luck, I tried resizing the window to half screen and the entire Dreamweaver UI suddenly reappeared. Going back then to full-screen, everything rendered correctly. When closing out all the files and shutting down Dreamweaver and then restarting, the problem reappears. This is probably a simple question. Is it possible to set Dreamweaver to add a extra, indented line when I press enter between opening and closing html tags? Such as, say I am entering a table. I enter the following:    <table></table>Right now, if I press enter between the tags, I get the following:    <table>    </table>What I would like to get is:    <table>        Indent to here    </table>I would like this to happen with any tags. Any help is appreciated.

I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but you never know unless you trie.I placed an OAM file in my html document. I want to know if it is possible to activate a function within that OAM file with script in the Dreamweaver HTML file. And when it is possible how do I do this?If this is the wrong place to ask, does anyone know where to ask this question?

I have an issue with an inserted image inside a cell not taking up the full height. If you look at the first screenshot taken in Design mode, the image appears to fill the whole cell. But the second screenshot taken in Live mode, the image doesn't fill the cell height-wise. If in Design mode I try to drag the image's handle down, all it does is increase the height of the cell. It seems as if there is maybe a piece of code that is preventing the image to fully fill the cell and I'm not code savvy enough to figure it out. i created a menu slide in using on hover..ANDY LILIEN | DOP i want the menu to slide in only hovering the dashed lines..the problem is when you move your mouse away that div is smaller than the menu and the menu slides off..if i make parent div and include the menu then you'll get the menu sliding in when you havent rolled over the dashes--any thoughts?

I finally get the hang (a tiny bit) of the newer Dreamweaver. The versions up to 2018 were a disaster for me, so I still work in version 13.0. It seems the 2018 version is for the first time one which is set up in a way which aligns (somewhat) with my brain. In CC I can open two pages, make them both fill half of the space and copy-paste between them. In DW 2018 I find no half-size or minimize buttons. Is it possible and how - or not at all??

It's only .png's I'm having problems with getting Dreamweaver (CC 2017) to accept.I can't drag a png from my comp folder into design view. I have to manually add it to my code.
