My JQuery tabbed panel shows up OK in Live view but shows up as a list online. I was using Spry Tabbed Panels and they stopped working when I upgraded to Dreamweaver CC from Dreamweaver CS6. So, I inserted a JQuery tabbed panel. It shows up OK in Live view. Online it's a list my tabs. So, how do I make it show up correctly? I tried a JQuery Accordion Panel on another page and it works fine. Thanks...
Hi --I'm completing a new website both to launch my business (after completing Adobe Certificate, not yet) and as an assignment for a course. I've run into problems with the template and have flailed around trying to fix it in CSS and just made it worse. (Am suspicious that an incipient Windows Update, robbing resources in the background, was causing dropped stitches in the knitting.) The zip file will be uploaded, and it includes a WordPad file showing some of what I still need to tweak and might forget -- the big things need no reminder.Anyway, the Accordion is set up correctly so far as I can see, but it doesn't work. The center article should fill the space between the accordion and the media icons, but I can't get it to format so it looks the same as Sidebar1 only wider.I've found "csses" and plan to delete the unused CSS selectors, but don't want to do that until later, so it's a mess. And all the code needs to be tidied up eventually as it's shameful now, but am
Hi all,I had great hotspots working to trigger popup dialog boxes over certain sections of an image. I received a new version of the image with slightly different dimensions, so I need to adjust the locations of the current hotspots as well as add another one. Suddenly I cannot select the points of the previously made hotspots (I can still see the blue outline in design view), and when I try to add a new area I can only add a single point. I've tried clearing the cache and resetting preferences based on recommendations from other solutions on this forum and a few other communities, but still no luck.Any help would be appreciated!
I've just uploaded the newest DW CC version and I found that it changed the layout of my windows and panes without asking for that change.I want the Document window to be separated from the Files panel, allowing portions of my desktop to be visible between both. Currently, my entire 27-inch iMac screen is wall-to-wall DW CC, which I don't want. I cannot intuitively figure out how to grab a corner of the corner of the Document window so I can drag it to make it much narrower.I don't find a handle to control the size. I'm able only to enlarge the Files panel while narrowing the Documents window, however, they remain joined, which prevents me from accessing and viewing what's on the desktop. How can I learn how to set up my DW CC panes the way I want? Thanks, in advance.Warren_______
Hey there,I have a problem with showing a image in css. As you can see in my css stylesheet I want to put a image on de background. Notice that al de rule-numbers of the images are red. So they won't show on my webpage. But if I hover over the css code he knows which image to use.How can I solve this problem?

Can I create and save Find and Replace queries in Dreamweaver 2017? I can't find the place where I can do that in the dialog box. Have they removed this feature, if so why???? If it has been removed is there a workaround? I created several queries in previous versions using Regular Expressions and I would like to continue using them. Please help. Thanks.
We are trying to launch Dreamweaver in XenApp and are receiving the following errorOther creative cloud applications launch without issue.Any ideas or help would be appreciated.Thank you!Todd
All my files are set to Split Vertically, Design view on the right.DW 2019 opens all files as Split Horizontally. After changing the Split settings, they are not saved when closing the files. The files are still open as Split Horizontally.I'm back to CC 2018 (which initially had the same issue when released).macOS 10.14
Hi, I was wondering if someone could help me configure this feature. I can manually Put the file, but I'd like to push automatically.I have a Site with an IIS Testing Server defined. The Site files and the IIS Testing Server are on the same computer. They're connected using a Local/Network "Connect using" setting.I have "Automatically push files to testing server" checked. However, when I save, the saved file is not copied over. I'm looking at the contents of the file through a text editor and the timestamp, rather than a browser which might cache a page.I've tried a few different Server Models. "None" is the most appropriate for what I'm doing.I'm running 18.2 build 10165 on Windows 10 Pro.Thanks,Carl
From the CSS Properties Inspector, the selected Font is Arial, size is 15px. Other choices include pt, in, cm, etc., but suddenly also includes:$$$/PropInspectTextCss/StyleTypeSizeUnits/Item8/RemThere are three of these entries, from "Item8" through "Item10." They don't do anything. What are they? Where did they come from and how can I get rid of them? Have tried everything, including uninstalling DW CC 2018 and reinstalling. Hope someone has a solution.-- Marlin Knight
Since installing the latest DW CC update this morning, and restarting the PC, DW will no longer display the Real Time Preview in the browser. It was working perfectly before the update was installed. I'm using Windows 10 with an Intel i7 processor PC.Message received in browser (Firefox and Chrome): You tried to access an external HTML page, which can not be opened on the device for preview. Open the page in Dreamweaver to preview the page on the device.
The Real-time browser preview in DW 2017 is great, but each time I take a work break, I get the following message after waking up my iMac: "You tried to access an external HTML page, which can not be opened on the device for preview. Open the page in Dreamweaver to preview the page on the device."The only fix is to restart DW, I use Chrome as my preview browser, but the issue exits regardless of browser choice."Live" preview in DW is simply to slow and buggy, so I don't care for it. Additionally, the spit screen (live/code) is too small to really see, so I like the full screen browser preview.Thoughts?
I have this project I'm working on based on an assignment from Dreamweaver in A Book chapter 7 Designing For Mobile Devices. I did the assignment but when I try to apply it to my project I'm hopelessly lost. Any recommendations on how I might get through this?
I see endless possibilities with this new CSS specification. 3.3. Conic Gradients: But the only browser currently supporting it is Chrome. https://caniuse.com/#feat=css-conic-gradients Good news for developers, there is a polyfill. CSS conic-gradient() polyfill
Hi all, I know this might not really be the place for this question, but I am getting nowhere fast and this forum often comes up trumps. I'm running MAMP PRO 4.4 with PHP7.1.13 and Apache on Mac OSX El Capitan.I've been asked to set up a magento 2 store and during the setup process, magento runs a 'Readiness Check' and it's telling me that I don't have the mcrpyt extension installed... but I think I do because the php.ini file has extension=mcrypt.so without the ; infront of it. The mcrypt.so file is present in the php sub-directory and phpinfo() shows the configure command '--with-mcrypt=shared', but the 'Configuration' displaying all that is installed does not show content for mcrypt.Has anybody found a way to get mcrypt installed within a version of PHP that works in MAMP PRO?I've tried downloading other versions of PHP from php.net, but the file structure is so different, that it isn't recognised by MAMP PRO as far as I am able to do.If you do have mycrypt running in MAMP PRO with
Hi, I feel really silly but I am stuck on a problem with the page footer. I am trying to get it to remain at the bottom of the view port (but not be sticky) when there is not enough content to fill up the entire view port. Here is an example of what happens when there is plenty of content on the page:As you can see the footer is pushed to the bottom of the page properly. It doesn't matter if there is too much content for the view port - the footer is pushed down to the bottom and correctly scrolls with as the content is scrolled up. However; when there is not enough content to either fill up or extend beyond the view port, this happens:As you can see the footer is not displaying correctly anymore - it has been pulled up to the bottom of the content instead of remaining at the bottom of the view port. I have made various attempts to fix this myself using CSS but I have not been able. I realise that this is a very simple problem but I just cant see what I hav
I have the latest version of Dreamweaver installed (18.0). When in design mode and editing text, the cursor is off by one position from the location the character is actually inserted/deleted/replaced. The cursor shows one character to the right of where it should be.

I will 'hide code' in the development window to save screen space. The problem is when I save the page and come back into edit on it the next day the 'hidden' aspect has moved at random over the page. I might 'hide' lines 25 to 55 and come back in to find that lines 15 to 30 are now 'hidden'. Or I might come back in and find nothing is hidden. How can this random behavior be stopped other than to never use the 'hidden' ability. In case you never have used this, highlight a section of code and notice the down arrow that appears next to the numbers. Click it and the highlighted code is removed from the screen view.
Thanks for looking at this post and all your expertise, I have this website http://inventoryvideos.fairwaysit.comI made a Mobil site for it: http://2inventory.fairwaysit.comI used the ‘window.location’ script to call the Mobil site from small screens. It works well on my iPhone. After researching Mobil versions for desktop sites, I learned that using two separate sites is not an efficient way to accomplish responsiveness. One writing coming from the experts on this venue years ago.So, I made a Mobil page for the desktop site. I’m trying to use the same script ‘window.location’ to call the Mobil page for small screens. It does not work. I made sure all files are uploaded to the server properly. The error message is ‘cannot find server’ after a long wait.Is the ‘window.location’ script wrong for switching to Mobil pages within the same site ? I typed two versions of the code(address) I used in the window.locaton script to go to the Mobil pag
