Dreamweaver

Right after I see the preview of the files and pages that DW wants to get and put, the second that I press go with the final step of the sync it freezes. This has never happened before and we have tried many things to correct the process. Any guess or suggestions would be great. Above is what I press okay and then it freezes.

I have stuck with Dreamweaver 8 because 1. It synchronised the data on MY computer with that at the web URL 2. It is independent of any supplier of cloud-based website services 3. I am 80 years old and have great difficulty with new software jargon and concepts My laptop now has Windows 10 and I seem unable to install my beloved DW8 Will your DW CC 2017  give me my basic requirements if I migrate to it? Will it "acquire" the web sites I built with DW8 and retain the links in those pages?

Hi thereI am editing a html email in Dreamweaver using a template that we got online. Most of the images are mobile responsive however the banner image across the top is not. Hi  - I have a website created 6 years ago in macromedia dreamweaver.  I am wanting to update the software - are there any compatibility issues with the latest adobe version if I download it

When I preview a Dreamweaver project in either Firefox or Safari (using the Real-time Preview) I am unable to change the values of properties like I can when viewing any other website in said browsers.  For example, if I inspect a <div> with width: 100%; and click on "100%" to change the value it will not accept any arrow key input or typed value.  I can type in a new value but once I hit enter it reverts back to the original "100%".  I'm pretty sure I was able to change values in the past, prior to having to reinstall Dreamweaver yesterday due to a bug.  Btw, I just checked and this issue also applies when trying to change the name of an selector from within the element inspector panel. Again, I can open other websites within the browsers, and changing values within the element inspector works as expected.  Not sure if this is a bug or something has change in the latest release of Dreamweaver CC 2017.  Is anyone else experience this issue or did and

Tried to upload one of my husband's answers to a question about his work and couldn't connect.  Said I had the wrong password.  Really?  OK, changed password.  Now, where do I go to put in that password to connect?  Dreamweaver comes up just fine, but where to I put in the password which allows me to connect?  Our email is [Private info has been removed by the Moderator] if someone could respond there I would be really grateful.  Thank you.  Helen

I just got a call from a potential client who needs to use Shopify in order to take advantage of its integration with house accounts. I have never used it, but apparently it is a much more serious e-commerce solution than many of the ones designed to work with DW.

I have created an email in DW. The images show up in the software but not when the email is actually emailed out. I have attached images. The first picture is what the recipient should see. I just upgraded to 2017.0.1 and have found several things that have made my workflow harder. The latest is the inability to drop images and files into the code view. This was a terrible oversight. I found in the forum that it is a known bug and the posts are about 3 months old.When will this be fixed. This ability really really helps. Certainly I can manually code. But I might as well use a text editor. Come on DW, you are supposed to make life easier.

Hi all. I'm very much a beginner so would appreciate help with getting pinch and zoom functionality working on the mobile version of my site. I'm using the below line in the HTML but nothing seems to allow the "user-scalable" when browsing through mobile device view. Is there anything I may be missing that may be stopping it from working. Hi, when i try to insert the logo on "Customize" on wordpress, this don't work. The file is in SVG.I think i need to intervent on code,but i don't know what to do. I already use SVG images in my website, i have issue only with the logo...i hope you will help me...thanks!

I've been using this for weeks on my new Win10 machine, suddenly today it crashes every time I save html files I am working on. Again, I have tight deadlines and an Adobe product I am relying on is letting me down, what could the problem be?Killing these tasks does nothing:This never seems to happen with notepad...I have had to create a new html file, open my existing file in notepad, copy the code and paste it into the new file in DW, then save it, over-writing my original, which works a few times but it's a roulette... my next save might be the one that crashes DW!Is anyone else having this issue? Just downloaded dreamweaver trial cc new version to see how the fluid grid works as per video but in file new I do not see fluid grid layout anywhere. Any ideas why not?.

I was happy to see Dreamweaver started to let us use an internal preprocessor. We use less on our sites.Unfortunately when we only have a live site configured the generated CSS file is not auto-uploaded to the server. We have to also specify a test server in order for this to work. That's to bad, because we only want to set up a live server in most cases. We could have a discussion about whether we should or not, but I would only like to find out if this is an issue for others to and if maybe we have missed some option to get this working in our preferred setup (only live site). If this is not possible, how can we ask Adobe to make this possible?

I run several websites coded in DW. One and only one crashes DW the second I try to open that site in DW. The only way to fix it is to delete the MacFileCache-********.dat files and restart my Mac. Usually works. But it is SUPER annoying. Why do I have to do this with only one site and not the others? How do I permanently fix this so I don't keep having to do deal with crashing?
