I know this has been discussed over the years but what cloud storage are people using to back-up their website files?I'm currently using 'Dropbox Plus' but I'm getting close to my 1TB limit (I have some large graphic design projects stored as well) and the next step up is 'Dropbox Business' which I don't need as that's for teams rather than individuals.I need about 2TB I guess AND Mac compatible (I think most are anyway).Any one care to share information about what cloud storage they currently use?CheersOs
In Dreamweaver, I used to be able to hit Ctrl + F and get a dialog box to replace, with the option to change it in the text, or the source code. There is no longer that option in an easy-to-see way. I have no idea if there's now a different way to do it, or they got rid of that once-simple option.I also used to be able to change keyboard shortcuts with ease. Now it's nearly impossible.Could you people stop messing with this program? I'm spending a LOT of money on this program and you are slowing my workflow down. What you're calling improvements are only obstacles.
How do I add a cursor pointer for a drop-down menu? The pointer hovers nicely over the menu but disappears when entering the drop-down selections. The menu is housed in a separate header file.
Working in Dreamweaver CC2017 with Windows 10. I have a line of type that is .5mm, 1.0 mm, 1.5 mm. I would like each one of these sizes to be in a different color. These sizes are in a block of specifications that are in a <p class>. From what I can find, it seems that this might be a job for a <span class> but I can't seem to make it work. Do I need to close the <p> before targeting the <span> or what? This is all within a <div>. I have created a selector (.redspec) that has all of the same text attributes as the <p class> but with the red color designation.Also...I have a block of type that is three words each with three lines. Can I get them to align like a tabbed chart?Thanks for any help,
Have not used DW since upgrading to 2017 a few months ago. It won't run at all and crashes on startup. Shows a crash report. Tried installing Java but that did not work. Found a tutorial on removing preferences but you have to be able to open DW to do that. Running Mac OS 10.11.6 on Macbook Pro early 2011.
I'm using fluid grid layout and came across this parallax "arrow" effect and was wondering if someone knew how it was done, looks to be an .svg image... should I create a new fluid div and insert this .svg image within to "mask" out the image?http://prntscr.com/fdfela Brandon

Hello.I am currently researching viable options for my workplace, which produces manuals for electonics, in order to encourage paperless production of said manuals.One of the many options raised was HTML-based manuals.With that in mind, we have done a little research and found that, depending on the product, Java may or may not be allowed, due to browser restrictions, etc.As such, we are looking at viable options and DW has been suggested by one of our staff who has moderate knowledge of HTML.My question is, how flexible is the DW suite with regards to creating something like a HTML-based manual, where the Java script may/may not be compatible or where a index.html file may not be required due to internal software automatically creating a Table of Contents, based on the exisiting html files?Further, if anyone has some better suggestion regarding software to use for HTML-based manual creation, it would be greatly appreciated.Thanks in advance!

Updated to the 2017 version of DW and quickly found out that the load / save query option in find and replace is gone.I regularly have to use this feature to add inline styles to the p tags of text that will go into an email (and various other functions)Now this is removed I cant load my query to add the font styles, sizes, colour and other CSS attributes without manually copying and pasting the changes into find and replace. This adds a considerable amount of time to production slowing the work flow.Therefore I have had to revert back to the old version. This feature missing makes the new version not adjudicate for the job.When will the feature be back?

Hello, everyone! I have set up a testing server for my Dreamweaver website using WAMP. When I try the Live view or try to see the website in a browser, the pages seem to have a problem loading the .css files which are inserted in a php include.Does someone know how to solve this or what may be the cause of this error?Thanks!
Hi,I'm currently watching the tutorial videos. The speaker simply presses types the code (e.g. nav), then presses space bar, and the dreamweaver adds all the opening and closing brackets. Why doesn't it work when I do the same?Regards,
I can't install trial version. After uploading Dreamweaver_Set-Up.exe this window (see picture below) has been showed me and I can't click its or even stretch, that's why it's impossible to do next steps for installation.What should I do in this case?Thank you in advance!

Yet another search related question from me, once again using Dreamweaver 2015;So one of the ways the HTML documents I'm working on is basically broken is there's a disgustingly shockingly large number of structural tables, all of them completely broken in their code. (It's so bad I routinely just strip all the <col> and <tbody> tags and re-build them later because they're ALL incorrectly applied and have a couple of saved searches set up to add in missing <tr> tags...yes, it's that bad)One thing I'd like to be able to fix is automating the correction of the header cells in the assigned header columns and rows. The "header columns" is actually fairly easy to fix, each <td> is assigned the "tablelables2" class (no, I didn't come up with these class names), so simply doing a search for all <td> tags with class="tablelables2" and replacing them with <th> tags works just fine.It's the header rows that the problem occurs. I am thinking about creating a mobile application or a game, I am not quite sure yet about the idea, but before I start I just wanted to make sure if I can create a mobile application just by designing and placing objects, not by coding or programming. Thanks
I've been having this problem since upgrading to 2017.1Intermittently, the code does not show, which makes it impossible for me to edit a file. I normally work in split code/design mode. At some point, I'll open a file, and the code portion is all white or all grey. No code. Once this happens, I can't view code no matter what view I try. Closing the page and re-opening it does not help. I have deleted my preferences, but the problem has returned.It could be this starts to happen when I have a lot of pages open.It goes away (temporarily at least) when I quit and restart Dreamweaver.Anyone else had this happen?
Hello,In need of some help here. I want to create a navigation menu where the menu shows when I mouse over a picture and the menu disappears on mouse out. Till here things worked out (see Greece/Persia pic: www.laiglewargames.com). Problem is when I am on the menu and wanting to select a naviagation item the menu does not remain stable and ofcourse when I go out of the pic it disappears. Hi,I checked with Adobe and they suggested I download and install a new copy. I downloaded the image, when I select it, I get a screen with Dreamweaver CS5. When I double click that, finder opens a window with install.app. I double click that and get a message 'Install.app can't be opened. You should eject the disk image'. When I do, it closes.Any thoughts?Thanks,Doug
Hello,I noticed that when I applied a box-sizing: border-box attribute to a Fluid-grid div and added some padding that the div extends outside the boundaries, is this normal?http://prntscr.com/fbt1v5 Is border-box not meant to prevent this very thing?Brandon
