Dreamweaver

This is the current website:  Education Law - Reporter Elementary & Secondary   done with tables, etc, and obviously not responsive.I took on the task of redesigning it, however, I am having troubles, as this where I am at:  Page Title   (for now ignore the "main content" I will work on that once I get the overall "template" of the pages to be responsive.Here are my questions:1.  In a mobile view (max width 414?) - how can I get the image called "preventive law reporters" to move up beneath the menu and/or to the right of the scales.2.  Why do the images look better in Chrome then IE? Zoom both are 100.3.  Ideally, I would like a "popup" window to offer complimentary reporters... how can I do that?Thanks in advance!!Donna

I have tried every fix that I have found online so far, including:• Deleting the current menus.xml file and replacing it with the one in the menus.bak (Dreamweaver says to rename menus.bak but it's a folder)• Deleting corrupt cache file - my folder in Application Support > Adobe > Dreamweaver CC 2017 is empty• Opening menus.xml and replacing all instances of && with &&• Uninstalling and reinstalling Dreamweaver• Deleting the menus.xml file and restarting DreamweaverMy problem ended up being a permissions issue. The solution found here worked for me (changed permission on Library > Application Support > Adobe): InDesign CC Start-up Error: "...lack sufficient permissions to access the preferences folders"

Hi All,I posted a question two days ago. As this has always been a go-to forum, except once, I trusted it. My post got rejected by a moderator. The moderator said that my question was similar to a previous post, or so, and requested that I edit it. Well, how would I edit it?There was no direct assistance from the moderator just a direct rejection.This forum is supposed to be a place where people seek help and offer help. Neither one of those took place in this instance. I would ask that either the rules or the moderator be reviewed.If this is not done then remove me from the database as I do not want to be a part of this mess.It's a shame that one bad apple has to spoil the whole bunch but I can no longer trust this forum.Good luck All.Gary

Hi peeps, I am new to dreamweaver so please bear with me.I have started a web page in dreamweaver which has a top menu bar that covers the entire width of the screen in dreamweaver live view, but when I view it in Chrome it only covers around 2/3rds of the width of the screen.What gives?I would have thought that the live view in DW would give you a true representation of the page, so why is it the different in Chrome?I'm not sure which one to believe.Many thanks

I'm doing the simplest things with changing colors of type or headings, even changing fonts in CCS yet none of my changes are showing in the design/live view or when I test it in a browser. Eventually it crashes. I'm trying to take an online class and I can't do it if I can't use the program. I'm on a macbook pro using which is hooked up to a large monitor and keyboards.I need help quickly! Thanks

Psd can be imported in muse and Dreamweaver.with that being said.I'm looking to load json directly into the files so the templates can look like a developers environment without technically being on the web. My question is which app can actually support json within the app to give a real time feel of how the data will actually look like without running a web server.

Hi, I have previously posted about this issue but still have not found an answer.I am trying to re-create the Udemy home page using DreamWeaver CS6 but I am having trouble with the width settings.I have set the "top green bar" width to 100% which fills the width of the screen and closed the div after it.Then I have created the menu bar which contains the logo, searchbox etc inside a seperate div and also given that a width of 100%Now the problem is that inside DreamWeaver "live view" and "design view" both sections fill the entire width of the screen but when I view the page in Chrome it does not. I've created a portfolio using dreamweaver I want others to view it without me giving them my USB since its the root for the site how do I make available to others to view?

This is probably ok but I've personally never come across this kind of set-up before. Any downsides or opinions?I have a client with 3 websites and they want me to upgrade just the 1 website.When I sign into the ftp area I see 3 different websites in 3 different Folders - folder_name_A, folder_name_B, folder_name_C. No 'public' or 'html' folders etcSo when you type into the browser www.folder_name_A.co.uk you get taken to that companies website and www.folder_name_B etc, you get taken to that companies wesbite.Its not ideal if you're writting some bespoke CMS as it leaves it wide open to copying by other developers who have access to work on site_B and site_CNot that much of an issue for me as my CMS is fairly standard which anyone who has a moderate knowledge of php can produce so its hardly likely to be copied or if it is no-ones going to make money out of it.I'm more interested if its a good set up or a bad one. I dont particularly like it myself.CheersOs

Hello:I am a long time user of Dreamweaver.  Recently, a problem occurred, which might have been my error.   Help! I don't know what's happening.  I appear to have two separate websites: One (the first one that appears when you enter geraldgibson.com and a second one, geraldgibson.com/html (after punching the first rectangle below and then selecting return to Writer's Den). If you study this situation, you would see my problem. There are two websites on Google (geraldgibson.com/ and geraldgibson.com/index.html). I haven't lost my website.  It's just buried beneath some corrupted html code.  I must have done something wrong, but I don't know what.  What has happened here? I think Thunderbird has just updated automatically to v45.8 on Mac but its now a slighly different layout. Can anyone else confirm that? I'm sure I used to have a 'delete' button at the foot of the window. That seems to have gone.I had to customize the interface but I can only seem to get a 'delete button' in the top bar now. It's driving me nuts as my action is to immediately go to the bottom of the window. I know after a couple of weeks I'll start going to the top but I'm either going nuts or I'm correct - can anyone else confirm their version of Thunderbird seems a little different, Mac or PC?Os

Now, I have created 2 tables in xampp 'users' & 'news'. If I want to give access to Admin to update/delete news and also to manage users but Users can only view and update their email or password. means i need to assign access levels. I assigned 2 as default level for users and 1 for admin.both were working fine, then I actually don't know what happened, my admin denied to get login, while user is perfectly working and arrive me at user control panel. Hello,I am receiving a strange syntax error writing JavaScript in Dreamweaver CS6 (version 12).for (let i of this.roomItems) {  }for some reason it is saying line 1 is a syntax error, but this doesn't seem right. I think perhaps the syntax definitions maybe out of date, but I can't figure out how to update it for the more modern JavaScript code.I really like Dreamweaver, but I'm about ready to switch to a different software if I can't resolve this, so please let me know how get Dreamweaver to understand things like "let" and "of". thanks!

whenever I try to open up a new site nothing comes up on the screen and I'm not to familiar with dreamweaver and I don't understand why it is not opening. I've tried creating 3 new sites to see what will happen but none are opening. Also I am on PC.
