Suddenly my library items do not update my site?

I went to edit a site I haven't updated in a few months. I use several library items for navigation and common page elements. I updated 2 library items today for sitewide updates, and noticed that I didn't get the usual log telling me it was updating the pages. I checked pages and sure enough it did NOT update them. I tried going to Tools > Library > Update site and that went through and made all kinds of changes to the code that made everything "local" to my hard drive (absolute links) rather than how the code should appear. I did make sure to select the correct site before I began work, making sure Manage Sites recognized the right site. I reverted everything. Shut down my computer. Rebooted. Again Managed Sites to make sure site was selected. Tried updating just 1 library item. Again it did NOT update the site?

Issue using sass with dreamweaver?

I'm trying out SASS for the first time, and I'm able to write the code and get a css file compiled from my sass. However, when I link my css to my html there is no effect? When I write pure css into the css file it works, but no code generated from my SASS has any effect at all. Any tips? Thank you in advance!

Code View does not show any code?

I am a student taking a web design course, so I am a beginner with dreamweaver. When I click on code view OR split view, I cant see any code showing. The space where the code should show is completely blank. Does anyone have any solution to this? Dreamweaver - blank/empty/white code view

Searching for fixes online reveals several threads where people experienced the same issue. I myself found that restarting DW 2017, whenever this occurred, fixed the issue. This issue was more prevalent in DW 2018 in Win-7 and Win-10.I am now in v18.2 (10165 build) and I am unable to view code for any file type at all (even when creating a new file) in code-view or split-view and restarting DW does not fix the issue. I can experience this issue with no other applications running, logged into CC or not and after restarting computer. (Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit SP1, 8GB RAM, Xeon E5-260 v4)

jquery problem in server

Dreamweaver & Domain names

Hello It's been a LONG time since I've used Dreamweaver.  I had a few questions. 1- Does Adobe provide hosting included in the CC subscription and offer domain names? 2- Can a domain be purchased through GoDaddy and then connected to the DW website? (In that case who would be doing the hosting?) 3- I am not a coder. Adobe stopped supporting Muse past Windows 10. So, is Dreamweaver more user friendly since 2011? I'm not looking for a complicated website. So I just want to focus on the design, and add a music player to visitors to stream my music. Would that require coding/scripting or is there built in widgets I can customize?  Thanks in advance for the answers.

Update Dreamweaver to Work With Windows 11 Pro

I have the Whole Adobe Suite, updated constantly by you, and my main program for writing newsletters is Dreamweaver (I'm a reporter). At times when I am copying and moving text, the text gets jiggy (graphically distorted),  wasting my time. I have a high-end MSI i7 system with 32 GB of RAM and Windows 11 Pro; when will DW be fully updated so it performs flaslessly with W11Pro? I've been waiting quite some time and am not happy. My deadlines are brick walls and I don't like wasting time.

Dreamweaver 2021 Hangs on Loading Site Cache after shutdown. Fine yesterday. OSX 12.6.7All was working well. Shutdown iMac, when powered back on, DW now hangs with the "Loading Site Cache" message. If I wait, it continues to use up application memory until it errors out. I have not tried startup by destroying all extensions, etc. I have dozens of Project VII plug-ins and would hate to have to reinstall them all. Any ideas? Nick

Something in my code is preventing visitor from reaching named anchor. Anchor works fine from menu.

My page contains one index file.My menu leads to many anchors within the page - these work fine.If I want to share a url such as  https://example.com/#namedanchor, the visitor lands at top of index page and not to the anchor point.   Something is preventing anchors from being reached if by a direct link.Hope this is making sense.   Any ideas?   [Moderator changed URL to the industry-wide generic.]

Installing Dreamweaver without Creative cloud

Hello there. I'm new to this forum so not sure if this has been asked previously or not.I've a low end laptop & after switching to win10 now it even takes a couple of mins to boot up. I've installed Creative cloud as I want to use Dreamweaver but so many things running on background that it makes my device more slow and I'm hardly able to code and watch the tutorials live anymore.I would like to know if there is any possible option to download and only keep Dreamweaver installed and removing the un-necessary stuffs like the Creative cloud desktop and others.? Thank you.

on step 3, i dont see the AAMUpdater file and OOBE says it cant be deleted. I'm also not sure what it means by make sure creative cloud isn't under programs and features list in step 4

WebP formatted images don't appear in DW

Hello:I attempted to convert my JPEG thumbnails to WEBP thumbnails using Photoshop (on a Mac). It worked well. The image size was smaller for WebP files as expected. See the first screenshot that compares sizes.  Uploading the page with the new WebP files was successful. My concern is this: When I view the WebP files in the Split and Design views of Dreamweaver, I see only a placeholder, not the actual WebP image file. Because this prevents me from seeing how my new WebP images look on a page, I need to learn how to make them visible. The following two screenshots compare how the JPEG and WebP file look (or don't look).   How can I get the WebP files to appear in Dreamweaver windows?

Making hotspots on a responsive image

Hello all, Presently I'm working on renewing a static website into a responsive one using Bootstrap and responsive grid lay-out. I've stumbelt on a problen regarding a page with hotspots:. Website not displaying in Dreamweaver properly

I've been using Dreamweaver for years and never had this problem.I am currently making a website and I have found, for the first time ever, Dreamweaver is not showing the site as it appears on Firefox and Edge (tested here too just because it happens to be installed on the computer).This is making it impossible to actually code my website, because I have no idea what Dreamweaver is doing.I tried to uninstall and reinstall,  but the issue continues.Is there anything else I can try?

Importing Lottie (bodymovin from AE), with bitmap images

I've created some Lottie banner animations in AE (bodymovin) and can bring them into Adobe Dreamweaver. I can see the vector animation just fine. but I can't see the included bitmap .png files.I can see the .png content when I load the .json on the lottie test site, but I can't see it in Dreamweaver.I've tried different combinations of exporting the .png images in the .json file and having them in a separate folder but can't get it working.Any ideas?Thanks-B

localized resource files not loaded. Please reinstall this app to resolve the issue.

I'm using the latest version of Dreamwever on the imac, intel i7 processor, graphics card, AMD. But when I open the program this error appears that is written in the description. "Located resource files not loaded. Please reinstall this application to resolve the issue." Who could help me? do you have a solution?

Can't put files

Sorry to be a bother. I have been using Dreamweaver for about twenty years but I only use it a couple of times a year and have never really gained any confidence in using it. Right now I can't "put files" to my remote server, Go Daddy. When I click on the up arrow i get the standard dialog box – "Do you want to put entire site?" When I click on that I immediately get "File Activity Complete", but the updated html is not uploaded. Can anyone help? I am using Dreamweaver 2021 on a MacBook Pro with Venture 13.4.1Thanks

Find a section of code

I have a website with multiple pages. Is it posible to find and replace a section of code that starts with <section class="display-7" and ends with </section> in Dreamweaver? The html inbetween <section class="display-7" and </section> is different on every page. I want to replace it with new html on multiple pages.

Need part of external website to fit

Before anyone asks, yes, I have permission from the National Weather Service to use this:https://www.spc.noaa.gov/products/outlook/ I need a part of their website embeded into my website. I could just take a screenshot, but that updates several times a day. Here's the part that I need embedded on mine: I've tried with iframe, and a div, and I can't seem to figure it out. I thought I almost had it, but when I mess with the css code, it screws up things on my website:  https://www.arklahomaw.com/outlook.html (this is the page I want to put it on).
