Dreamweaver

Apparently Dreamweaver doesn't support TLS 1.2 a security protocol to which many host providers are switching. Can anyone confirm/deny this? The first I heard of it is through Aabaco (formerly Yahoo) small business solutions which hosts three of my business sites. This is not a Yahoo issue but rather a Dreamweaver issue because it is currently impossible to set up proper FTP access in Dreamweaver to be able to access a site that utilizes TLS 1.2.  If this is true, would love to know when Dreamweaver will catch up?If it is not true, I'll go back to Aabaco to see what's up.Thank you.

I have gone to Code View Options and unchecked Auto Indent, but Dreamweaver still indents my code as I am typing it. It's driving me nuts and wasting time as I have to correct all those unwanted indents.I've also gone under Edit / Preferences / Code Format and unchecked Indent, to no avail.Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

When I do edit in the code view, the text associated with my selection changes and gets a  greenish background.  I am "old", 72, and I'd surelike to change it to another color.... Something I can see  ha haI tried to go through preferences several times but alas, nothing I did changed the highlighting?What did I miss?

Hi, I am working on a photography website. I created 5 accordion panels with Dreamweaver cs6 for the different fields. In the accordion panels, there are ca. 30 images. The panel height and with is auto, so I don't use fixed panel heights. My problem is that when I open the next panel, it opens in the middle, not on the top where I want. Is there any solution for this? (I don't want to use fixed panel heights if it is possible) Thanks!

This function periodically changes the state or on the OVR, or on the INS, it is sometimes not observed INS = INSERT, and it happens that instead of INS = OVERRIDE. There is no regularity.

I have 50+ styles/classes (Properties Panel) stored in CS5 and I would like to move them to CC2017 without having to re-enter each style/class individually  How can this be done?Any hints would be appreciated!

Tried many things but Spell Check is grayed out in CC 2017.Highlight individual words or complete paragraphs and still grayed out.Nothing works.Even misspelled a word and still grayed out.Ideas or corrections?

I am using DW CC 2017 in Code View and sometimes it can take up to 5 seconds to select a part of the scrren or the screen to respond to typing.Its very frustrating to click the screen and nothing happens for a few seconds and I would expect code view to act like a text editor ie: fast and responsive.I have a monthly paid subscription. I am on mac with 16gb ram and samsung pro ssd driveI am using DW Version 2017.0.01 ReleaseI do not have cache enabled in Advanced Settings > Local Info > Enable CacheAnother thing I notice in the Activity Monitor is several processes called "Adobe Cash Daemon" so not sure if thats anything to do with it.

Hi,I just purchased and installed Dreamweaver cs5.5 student and teacher edition for a PC. When I open the program, I receive an error message:"No document types have been found in the Configuartion/DocumentTypes/ folder. The MMdocumenttypes.xml file may be missing or corrupt."I have uninstalled/reinstalled the program, which did not change the problem. How can I get Dreamweaver running properly? The MMdocumenttypes.xml is located in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CS5.5\configuration\DocumentTypes Folder, it is not missing, and shouldn't be corrupt as I just installed the program.

Is there any way of finding the HTML5 pack and installing it on my old Dreamweaver CS5?When I look for updates I keep getting sent to the CS5 11.0.3 updated page. This downloads but then fails to update anything.and the HTML5 pack I can find nowhere.

HelloCan anyone advise me on some sort of guide for 'how to build a website from start to finish' for beginners.  I have not used Dreamweaver for years.  I was hoping to find something that was text rather than video and preferable free, although that might be a bit of a big ask.  I was also looking for something fairly recent.  Any advice appreciated  - Ruth

As far as I can see PHP syntax error reporting only works on PHP files? How do we enable for other file types?

Hi,I downloaded DreamWeaver2017 but when I want to see what my code looks like in chrome it creates an other url..For example I want to load my index.php :It should be written http://localhost/em3/applications/API/twigtest/index.phpBut it's either http://127.0.0.1:52515/preview/app/index.html Or a temp http://localhost/em3/applications/API/twigtest/TMP1jsjvuv.php Does anyone have the solution to directly get the right url when I push f12?Thank you and sorry for my english ^^

I cannot get the trial version of Dreamweaver to open.  I have no problem downloading Creative Cloud, or downloading Dreamweaver.  However, when I try to open Dreamweaver, immediately upon opening I get a message that states "Adobe 2017 has encountered an error and will shut down".I've uninstalled and reinstalled 4 times, I've shut off the firewall, I've tried renaming files.  I do not see where there is a Wincache.dat file to delete.I have to have Dreamweaver for school.  Any help will be great appreciated.

When I am in the design mode (wysiwyg), and I paste some text in a cell of a table, and start typing right after that, the cursor has moved from directly after the pasted text to right after the closing bracket of <td>. (I can see this in the split mode, where I see the design and the code.) I've tried to move back from right after the closing bracket to right after the pasted text, by using the arrow buttons on my keyboard, but the left arrow brings me to right before the <table>-tag, and the right arrow brings me to after the </table>-tag!This means I can't simply paste some text and type on, but have to manually move the cursor by using the mouse. This is annoying, especially since I have RSI. Does somebody know how to prevent this?I read this same question here: Cursor Moves on Saving.
