Dreamweaver

I am working on a responsive site with a scrolling carousel as the header. My question is this. Within my Dreamweaver document, the carousel auto scrolls. When viewed on the web at maselva.com it does not auto scroll. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

If someone has been using only Facebook as a portfolio website (art works, for example), how do you go about transferring content from posts in Facebook to the new website? There is the issue of duplicate content and the last thing you want to do is "upgrade" a client by selling them a website which lowers their SEO ranking by having duplicate content.There is also the issue of the Facebook page being indexed higher because it has been around longer.In short, is the best policy just to rewrite (i.e. re-phrase or re-word) the content for the website and hope for the best? I am seeing lots of contradictory stuff online regarding this issue.

Hi, does anyone know how to align the two logos (instagram and facebook) to align with the table? And how do u add spacing between the table and the two logos?

Muy buenos díasEn buscar y reemplazar necesito reemplazar un código en varias páginas al tiempo (todas tienen el mismo código), el código es largo y cuando lo pego en la ventana de buscar y reemplazar no lo coloca todo solo coloca una lineas... porque??... es posible modificar la cantidad de lineas que haceptan las ventanas de buscar y reemplazar??

Ich habe das Dreamweaver-Update vom Dezember wieder entfernt und arbeite wieder mit der Version Deamweaver 2017 Build 9314.Nach dem Update gab es offenbar keine Unterstützung mehr für die Einbindung der MySQL-Datenbankfunktionen mit PHP mehr.Die Fenster "Bindungen" und "Datenbanken" wurden nicht mehr im Menü "Fenster" angezeigt. In meiner Obrfläche gab es die offenen Fenster noch, aber es wurden keine Inhalte mehr gezeigt. Statt dessen nur noch Fehlermeldungen und Abstürze. 😞---I have removed the Dreamweaver update from December and work again with the version Deamweaver 2017 Build 9314.After the update there was apparently no support for the integration of the MySQL database functions with PHP anymore.The "Bindings" and "Databases" windows were no longer displayed in the "Window" menu. In my workspace there were the open windows still, but no contents were shown. Instead, only error messages and crashes.

We are using dreamweaver cs 5.5 which is not working properly on our system. It hang maximum time during the work. System configuration: Windows 7, i5 4th generation processor, 16 GB RAMWe have done the following:1.  Tested on all operating systems: windows 7, windows 8 and 10.2. Updated the complete version.Is there any issue with this version.

If I select a couple of works and then select Underline, it only underlines the individual letters. How can I have a continuous underline?BTW I did a search but all the results were related to underlined links.ThanksAlan

I was changing the interface preferences and the code started displaying in all caps. I can't change it back.

I recently moved a site from http to https, which meant updating all the internal links that pointed to the absolute paths, as well as all the .htaccess files and some other hidden files. That's when I learned that DW doesn't seem to search in dot files. Is there any way to enable it to?Thanks,Richard

Hello,We are currently running Dreamweaver 8 and need to upgrade to the latest version of Dreamweaver for the Mac. Will files that are created on DW 8 be compatible with the current version of Dreamweaver? Are there any upgrade issues we need to be aware of? Your help is greatly appreciated.

Hi all,I've got a strange problem. I have a css file, open in DW and there is a section that I can not open/expand.Line 71 (below) has the collapsed code, then jumps to 228.I have tried clicking on the arrow, usually works; selecting the line then right-hand click>Selection>Expand Selection.Neither method works.I can open the file in notepad and all is well, I can view it online and again all is well.I have rebooted my computer, still nothing.All other 'sections' work fine, just the code collapsed in line 71Any ideas?I am using DW 2017.0.1 Release 9346 build.

Anyone have any idea how to rollback? I really can't use this DW 2017... 2015 was almost perfect... the Find & Replace is 'broken'.. or i just don't know how to use this new version anymore. Previously replacing code in multiple files in folders was as easy as opening up DW, select Find & Replace, enter code to find and code to replace, then REPLACE. It was as simple as that.

Hi All,I'm on Dreamweaver 2017. I've just tried it in 'Current Documents' and 'Entire Site' and sometimes it doesn't change anything, even though DW says it has.After I run it, the window at the bottom pops up to show all the files that have been changed. But when I look at the open files themselves, they haven't changed at all. And when I've also run it on files that are closed—it still doesn't work.Am I missing something?Thanks,John

I am designing a new website using bootstrap.cssIn live view everything looks great.However, when I preview in any browser(chrome,firefox,IE) I get a complete mess. Fluid columns are not displayed correctly, menus aren't working...nothing. Not done this before. I am trying to upload a 4 page spryaccordion file. It uploads to site but does not show it to me in the format created. I also uploaded the spryaccordion.css file. what am I doing wrong please?

I have not gone to the new versions of DW because as I understand this - it does not have support for CF. I've seen CF Builder and don't especially like it compared to DW.But, in the past couple of days, DW stops working about once an hour and debug shows this exception. I tried deleting WinFileCache-E4854B7D.dat but that's not curing the problem.Is there a way to fix this? Barring that, is there any way to add CF support to the new DW?

I'm as "hip" as the next guy and appreciate gray on gray type ... but only for about 10 minutes. For those of us who have to use an application for real work, the ultra-low contract of the new Dreamweaver is really hard on the eyes. Trying to read gray type against a gray background gets tiring really fast.Question:Is there any way to turn up the contrast (either black type or a white background) for the frame elements in DW2017?Although it appears to be slightly less buggy (not a very high bar) than DW2015, the new version is a serous step back in terms of usability.

When saving a file via Dreamweaver cc 2017 directly to my test web server (network drive) it becomes unavailable for approximately 10 seconds. Using notepad ++ the file is available immediately. I disabled caching and notes (as I saw some people suggested) but it did not help. This is true in ff, chrome and ie. What can I do?Thank you,Shmuel

I had to restore Preferences 5 days ago when Real Time Preview stopped displaying web pages in the browser. This solved the problem at the time. However, Real Time Preview stopped working again, 5 days later. Once again, I have restored Preferences, restarted the PC, and managed to get RTP working again. This procedure is wasting a great deal of time. How long will it be before these bugs in Dreamweaver 2017 CC will be resolved? I can't continue working indefinitely with an unreliable and unstable product.
