position and color help

Hello there,I am very new to the dreamweaver so appreciate for an help. I created an online training on captivate and this is how the page looks on the browser. I want to do some adjustments on positioning and color but don’t know the exact parameters on the code for that aim. How to align the paragraph and text into the center?

How do I push up the paragraph "Hi everyone and welcome" to the center, below the picture?

How do I close the gap between these two colomns in between?? (i used a table function to add the pictures in and adjusted padding and boarder to 0 but the gap in between, how do u get rid of it?)

Background Image Help

I am messing with a website template in hopes of understanding Dreamweaver better, but I cannot figure out how to change the background image. Does anyone have any advice? I want to change the cliff picture with some other picture. Adobe Cs3 Dreamweaver recovery

My HD crashed. I lost Adobe Dreamweaver  and its license. When I logged into my Adobe Account I did not find any products listed. Adobe CS3 Dreamweaver was not here and neither was Photoshop CS2I need help to recover the license numbers for Adobe CS3 Dreamweaver and Aobe CS2 Photoshop and re-install themWhy they are not mentioned in the products that I purchased and whom to contact to solve this?Rudy

Mobile site navigation buttons not working....

Hi, Can you please take a look at ericksonasphalt.com on mobile and see what code you would need me to send you to see why the buttons aren't working.  They did work, and then I changed the color of the background and now they don't.  I am frustrated and at wits end with it.  I don't have the code home with me but I can screen shot a bunch tomorrow night if I know where even to start with.  I did not build the site, just working on it.  TIA,Vel

HTML Special Characters in design view

Is there a setting I can change so that my HTML code doesnt display funky if I have a special character? I want dreamweaver to not pay attention to the special characters in my view  when I copy and past code in dreamweaver. It distorts my text in the design view. I didnt have this issue a couple weeks ago. Is this a feature I have to get used to?

Add word "MENU" Next to icon bars in hamburger toggle!

So i've been looking on google for a while and nothing is really helping so i'm resorting to coming here.  I'm guessing it's going to most likely be all CSS if somebody can just point me towards which CSS i have to overwrite that controls the toggle.Thanks!

Placing an image on top of Bootstrap navbar!

Right now as you can see in the images below, the navbar is on top of the picture, but I want that to be the opposite as if the picture is apart of the navbar.  As for code I DONT have the image inside of the nav at all, I have simply an <img> tag before i start the nav and then using CSS I lined everything up as needed.

Tag highlighting in Dreamweaver 2017

So, I just updated to the latest version of Dreamweaver. I open a html page, go to source code, click some tag and this awful highlighting happens. I have light-grey version of interface and turned off eveything in 'preferences - highlighting'. Didn't help.Can anyone, please, tell how to turn it off, because I'm literally struggling to see anything in this highlighting.

Images not appearing

A moment ago, my html page had the images appearing but after a while it disappeared. Like after i re-opened the page, it just became like this! Does anyone know why? Or what I did wrong?

Massive question - Working on a site for ten years - now absolute mess (please help pimp my site)

Dreamweaver cc 2015 sow performance

I'm running Dreamweaver cc 2015 on a 3.2 GHz, i5 Retina iMac with 16Gb ram running OS Sierra.Dreamweaver's performance is terrible, launching the app often takes 2-3 mins, everything is non responsive for 1-2 mins when I open a file and there is a further 30 second'ish wait to close files.I have searched the forums for possible answers but nothing has worked (code hinting is valuable so I do not want to switch off and changing the delay to 5 seconds changed nothing).Are other users with the same/similar set-up experiencing the similar issues?

Insert HTML option Grayed Out

Hi,I'm new to Dreamweaver. I'm trying to edit an ePub, but when I go to Insert>HTML (at the top of the page) everything is greyed out. I made sure I'm clicked in the code section, but it won't let me insert anything. When I go to the insert panel, it only shows some of the tags, and while they're able to be inserted, I really need the nonbreaking space tag. I know that it's   but when I insert it manually, iBooks says   is invalid. I'm not sure if using the insert feature will help, but I'd like to try. Does anyone know why the options are greyed out and/or, how to get all the tags listed in the menu at the top of the page to be listed in the Insert Panel?

Dreamweaver CC save disabled?

I'm not able to save my html with 'Ctrl S' or file save. The only way I can push it through is to 'x' out and say 'yes when it prompts to save. Super annoying to have to close my document every time I want to save. This may be related: the html is looking for frame resources that aren't there. It warns me on open. My question is two part: 1) how do I turn off the search for frame resources on load (I don't care if they don't exist in development) and 2) how can I get my save functionality back?

Deactivate Live-Preview function in browser

Hi @ all,I'm using the newest version of DW 2017 (Windows 10 x64). But I have many problems with the live preview in the browser.So for example my fancy box does not work fine in the preview (but on the website everything is already o.k). So do you know how I can deactivate the live preview function when I open the file (by clicking F12 in DW) in the browser?In DW 2015 the file was openend by the path (for example) c:\my project\filename.htmlNow the project is open by the path http://127.0.0.1:51395/preview/app/index.html So I want to deactivate the live function.Is it possible?

Download an already purchased Dreamweaver ?

Hi I lost my computer with dreamweaver installed sense I bought it 21 feb 2012. Now I want to install it to another computer but I can't find my purchased Dreamweaver at my private Adobe acount when I log in at Adobes website. How do I do to Download an already purchased Dreamweaver to a second computer ?I´m happy if somebody could help me./Isabel

COLDFUSION DEVELOPERS - Do not install Dreamweaver 2017...You will regret it.

No support for cfscript, closes cfml tags incorrectly, comments do not highlight correctly,  does not highlight cfml tags correctly. You will regret the upgrade. Everyone in our dev team who has updated downgraded to 2015 the next day. Super disappointed.

CSS Quick Edit not fully functioning

Usually right clicking and selecting 'Quick Edit' or pressing cmd + e will reveal the CSS quick edit window at least once but more often than not it will not work on the same page more than a couple of times.  No error messages etc, it just doesn't do anything when it is clicked.  I can go to another page and it will be working on that page but if I return to the page I was working on it will not work until I close it and reopen it.I have never managed to get the 'New Rule' button to work on an element that doesn't already have any css rules associated with it.

Enlarging images trouble

I am trying to upload images into my website via Dreamweaver, so when the thumbnail is clicked, they will display the larger image of them. I inserted the codes onto Dreamweaver and previewed it to make sure everything looks right. Dreamweaver's preview has all the images being enlarged with no problems. When I tried to upload my website on the local server, the larger images never show up. Image sizing shouldn't be an issue because I'm using the same dimensions from images that actually work, or I'm reducing the size by a few pixels. None of my images go above 600pixels and all images have a resolution of 72 pixels per inch, according to Photoshop. What is the reason for my images not enlarging when my website is uploaded?

These shortcuts (default key set) just do nothing in DW 2017.0.1/Mac with German localisation.Am I really the only who experiences this? (Wondering why nobody has filed a bug report about this before...)

Page Update on Server

I have a local IIS server used for local testing. I also have a cloned site used with a remote IIS testing server at my hosting company. I clone the remote testing site for production once approved by clients. Under Dreamweaver CS6, with the local test site or cloned site, when a file was changed or is rendered using F12 for Firefox (or alt-F12 for Chrome) the page was updated automatically on the testing servers.Now, under Dreamweaver CC 2017 the pages are not being updated on either testing server. The update does not happen when I use the Real-Time Preview (RTP) capability and also when I right-click on the file to render it in the chosen browser on my local IIS server or remote IIS server on the cloned site. The automatic update function is not working for RTP or when directed to a specific testing server. I must "push" the file to testing servers or RTP for the file to be updated and rendered in the browser of choice.Should I rollback development to CS6 until this is fixed?
