Hallo,bisher wurden die Videos, auf der selben Seite angezeigt, in die ich sie geladen habe.Jetzt öffnet sich eine neue Seite mit schwarzem Hintergrund, auf der das Video abgespielt wird.Aus dieser Seite kommt man nur durch den Zurück-Pfeil wieder heraus.Kann ich das ändern?Gruß Margot

I am using dreamweaver on iMac OS Monterey. Hosted by Turbify. I had to update my FTP password with Turbify as they are updating servers and since then I get error message - same - not transferred when trying to upload new content. FTP is connecting to server.I am not a coder and a basic user of dreamweaver - please help.  With authentication I have None (encryption only) checked. I have use passive FTP and use FTP performance optimization checked  

Hi, I am importing video files (mp4) into a Dreamweaver document for the first time. Importing the file was simple enough, but I would like to insert the video's dimensions in the properties panel. Where can I find that information? I have right-clicked on the file icon and searched under every menu item, but I see nothing relating to properties. Unfortunately, the video's dimensions did not accompany the file when I imported it into the document. Thanks for any help you can provide. Kind regards, Mark

Will Dreamweaver still remain in Adobe's arsenal, or will it bite the dust in the very near future?  I used Muse to create sites for several clients, and it looks like I'll be forced to migrate these sites into Dreamweaver for any future changes and maintenance.  If Dreamweaver is on the chopping block, though, it would sure be nice to know now so that I can plan accordingly.

I created two websites, recenlty, using dreamweaver. The first has alot of bootstrap with my own coding. The second one was all raw coding, no bootstrap. I wish to now create an internal search engine. The site must be indexed and there should be a form avaible for the vistor. The form looks easy enough, but is there a reacommended search/index api? (or whatever it's called). About 20 years ago, I used a perl program to create a rudimentary search engine. it actually worked somewhat. I know there are better, free alternatives out there. Is https://www.screamingfrog.co.uk/seo-spider/ a good choice? I have been using freefind. They are nice enough but the fee is very high, if you don't want ads in the results. 

hello everyone,   in fact everything is said, or almost, in the title of this post. for several days now, no CC application launches. as soon as I double click on one of their icons, including the CC itself, the disk usage performance climbs to 100%, then a long time later the splash screen appears as a flash, followed by the application window, but the window is, and remains, empty. It stays like this for a few minutes, then the application crashes. It should be noted that during all this time, I can still use the machine, as well as all other applications (except CC) in a normal way. Only the CC and its applications remain inaccessible?   I searched on the web, in the Windows forums, I reinstalled CC desktop, I reset the CC preferences, I made sure that everything was up to date, OS, drivers, applications, I checked the disk, I exchanged with GPT, nothing did, or at least everything that has, or has been, proposed has been done...   hence my question, has this already

Hi,I have the latest Dreamweaver CC, with latest updates.On a large site, I do "find replace" to look for all divs with a certain classname, and replace the content.Each time, after a while, and some replacements, Dreamweaver just crahshes and closes without warning.The find-replace command has only been partially performed.Quite disappointing for the expensive fees we pay for the CC-version.We have Windows 10.How can we solve this issue with Dreamweaver ?regards

I want to upgrade my computer from OS X 10.10.5 but I don't want to loose my Dreamweaver CS 5.5 as I cannot afford to purchase and upgrade of Dreamweaver and I will loose my website.  Just a very very tiny enterprise and it would put me out of business. Several years ago I lost Photoshop on an upgrade and I cannot afford to replace it. But I can upgrade my Mac for free.

Atualmente tenho uma imagem padrao construida no photoshop e nela está contidade alguns espaços para botões, sendo que quando uso a ferramente para inserir link, vai na imagem inteira e não no lugar exato do botão. Não aparece de jeito nenhum, e quando aparece não consigo selecionar a área que quero utilizar o hiperlink. Por favor ajuda 😞

I have a website I have been maintaining for my company - I have very limited coding experience, but have managed to get along ok with Dreamweaver.  My goal: I would like to add periodic articles that can post to our socials that drive traffic to our website.  Ideally, the featured article would display on our homepage and past articles could be archived on a separate page. I am looking for any app that will make it easy to create this new bit of content to fully integrate into our socials and website. I used Adobe express to create our first article but if I want to post to socials, it gives the express.adobe website, not our own website. And I don't see a way to export it so that it hosts from our website.  I do not want to lose access to our content if I decide to cancel our subscription in the future, if that makes sense?  I am hoping someone could provide other ideas to accomplish this task.  TIA.

When I save a web page and then reopen said web page the code formatting has changed. I have checked and my web page has no erros. This has been a problem for me for many years. I know my formatting is not the way most people probably format, but it is what I have been doing since 2006. I am NOT a web designer, just an old fart who does not want his formatting changed. A solution would be so much appreciated. I'm not the brightest, so it is probably something very simple. 

HalloKann mir jemand bei DMXzone helfen? Wenn ich in Dreamweaver den Befehl öffnen will, kommt die Meldung "the new DMzone Ext. Manager ist nicht installiert". Es ist aber die Version 1.3 installiert. Etwas neueres habe ich nicht gefunden. In der Startliste ist das Programm nicht aufgelistet. Suche ich über die Lupe, kommt das Programm, ich kann es aber nur mit dem lokalen Administrator öffnen und dort kommt dann die Meldung. DMX Ext. Manager ist schon installiert. Klicken Sie ok und die frühere Version zu deinstallieren. Eine frühere Version gibt es nicht. Klicke ich OK, deinstalliert er automatisch Version 1.3 und beginnt die Installation mit 1.1.2. Diese  Installation wird dann ebenfalls abgebrochen. Hat jemand eine Idee? Grüsse, Manuela 

Dreamweaver 21.3MacOS Ventura 13.2.1 Everytime I go to Command+H hide Dreamweaver to access the desktop, etc it hides, then withint 1 to 2 seconds takes over. I admit this could be a MacOS deal, but none of my other apps, CreativeCloud or not do this. Is it because I run Dreamweaver in Split view Code/Live? Its never done this on previous versions of DW in the past. This seems like a recent phenomenon. I could use some help and totally admit to it could be my fault somewhere, but I would like to remove this annoying headache.

I am responsible for managing multiple websites using Muse, but I'm facing issues with uploading content to one of the sites using FTP. Despite confirming my FTP server, username, and password, I'm unable to upload anything, and Muse indicates that I already have the latest upload. Unfortunately, I can't find any options to enter the required web directory or port number for this particular site. Interestingly, I was able to upload content successfully using Fetch by entering the directory and port information. This confirms that the FTP details I have are correct. I've also contacted my hosting provider, who informed me that everything is working fine on their end. However, their instructions include the directory and port, which I'm unable to enter through Muse. When attempting to upload content to a server via Muse, I received the following error message: "Server not responding in time, FTP may not be supported on this server [Connection timed out after undefined milliseco

Hi, How do I target all instances of .class1 EXCEPT when it's a child of .class2? These instances would be protected from those CSS change, so only instances of .class1 that AREN'T children of .class2 would be affected. Is there an easy syntax for this?

Is there a non-js way to pre-set the volume slider in a <video>? Nothing against js, my site just randomly happens to be js-free so I'm trying to keep the streak alive, not a big deal if that streak ends here. (Unless it can be done through PHP, which the site does use?) Basically, I'm just looking to make sure no one's volume slider is at 100% when the video starts, by pre-setting it to 70%. Not a big deal, more of a nice-to-have than a need. Thanks!

This might fall under a potential bug, so I posted here.I am working on a redesign of my own website for a HTML/CSS course.Since the instructor has us using Block design (Articles/Sections/etc.), I am trying to keep the similar form of the old version of my site, which used tables.One of my Articles is has multiple Sections (73), as this is where releases from my discography go.Every single Section is doing fine, and with Responsive Design, looks very much like my old Table design.Except for one (67 of 73). It has decided, despite having the same exact parameters as all of the other Sections (Padding, H/W, etc.) in the HTML and CSS, to jump up about 20-30 pixels. I thought about DIV tags, but since all of the other Sections are fine, it shouldn't be neccessary. Given that Dreamweaver (CC) is continuously acting rather buggy already (like when I edit and save an HTML page, then Save As with a different page name, it resets everything I did in the first one...you know?...that kinda

Hey all! Forgive my ignorance, I know just enough code to tinker with templates and such. I'm in DW v21.3 on a MaBook Pro M1 running Venture 13.1 and used a template that includes an owl slider which works fine in the preview browser but now that I've published the site, it shows no images. I don't know where to begin to look and any input is appreciated. I'm happy to share code, URL, etc. Rod

Hi, all: I see a new thing happening lately (running DW 21.2 on Mac OS Monterey).While a page is open in DW, I find that sometimes, when I delete a related file in the list of local files, a strange colorful dot appears on the page's source code. (See my first attachment that shows what appeared when I made four repetitive deletions for testing purposes.) The effect it causes can be seen in the next attachment. I want to prevent DW from creating these colorful dots in the source code that aren't easy to spot. They may be on saved pages without me realizing that they're there. I tried copying/pasting on in the "Find field but DW doesn't recognize them as a character. Have you seen these occurrences? Is there a way to prevent them? How can I find them on saved pages? Wondering Warren

I am completely new to dreamweaver with no coding experience, and I am working on updating a website using different tutorials. I am trying to add in an image carrousel, but whenever I click insert-boostrap components- carrousel; it comes up with a popup saying: "The component is not fully compatible with the Boostrap CSS/JS File (lower than v4.4). A new Bootstrap CSS/JS File will be created and linked from the document". When I click continue, it adds the images as three seperate ones, not in a carrousel. I am in Live view, and have tried inserting it from the actual design, and the code, neither is working.Does anyone know how to fix this?

I have Dreamweaver 2021 and Github Desktop installed on my MacBook Pro and neither one of them can see the other. I have followed the instructions given in "Adobe Dreamweaver Classroom in a Book (2021 release)", I have looked up tutorials here on Adobe.com and on YouTube, and I have read the article on the help site: https://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/using/git-support.html. No matter what I try, the two applications very simply cannot see one another, making it imossible for me to continue the lessons in the text book past Chapter 1 because the end of the chapter requires you to use Git for all lessons going forward. Does anyone know what I might be able to do about this? I have already looked at some the questions and answers in this forum about the same topic, and I could not find anything that helped me solve the problem.
