For clients that have creative cloud volume license, is there anywhere in the registry (or other location) I could look to programatically determine if the Adobe Creative Cloud installation on a particular computer is using a user based license or is serialized? I am looking for some techniques that I could use, when doing software inventory in ConfigMgr, to report of where CC apps are installed and which type of license they are consuming - user or serial.

Hello there everyone, I wanted to ask if I can get the Silent Switch to uninstall Illustrator CC 2018 (Version 22.0.1). I am packaging up these new CC 2018 apps and I am a bit surprised that so far the uninstall process is very mix. Some are simple MSI Product Code and some require asking for help because the uninstall string does not include Silent Switch. What is the silent switch for Illustrator CC 2018 (Version 22.0.1)?Uninstall String:"C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Creative Cloud\HDCore\Uninstaller.exe" --uninstall=1 --sapCode=ILST --productVersion=22.0.1 --productPlatform=win64 --productAdobeCode={ILST-22.0.1-64-ADBEADBEADBEADBEADBEA} --productName="Illustrator CC" --mode=0Thank you for your help in advance Josh
We need the ability to restrict users to only install certain apps. We only want to allow our users to install Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Nothing else should be allowed to install. How can we accomplish this?
Hi All,So, I went to create a new distribution for the "old" 2017 apps, and in CC Packager, when checking "Show Archived Versions" both Premiere and After Effects 2017 are missing. Heck, Premiere 2015 is also missing. I just see "Premiere Pro CC" and "Premiere Pro CS6". This is on both Mac and PC, both running the latest Creative Cloud packager (1.13). I can't find anything that documents why this would be the case, or any workaround. Thanks!
How would you kick off RUM from SCCM to multiple machines? Is there a silent switch also?
I lost the software and need to install it on 10 new desktops with windows 10 pro 64-bit. All help is appreciated. thank you

Hey there guys, I am trying to uninstall the following software Photoshop Version and I would like to get the silent install switching. I have other apps that I am trying to install and I will ask what I have later. But for now I need the silent switch for the follow Photoshop versions:Using PowerShell App ToolKit To Complete This TaskPhotoshop CC 2015 - C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\PDApp\core\PDApp.exe --appletID="DWA_UI" --appletVersion="2.0" --mode="Uninstall" --mediaSignature="{793C2BF7-A4FE-4608-91C9-9282C5801C21}"Photoshop CS6 - "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\PDApp\core\PDApp.exe" -Parameters "--appletID=DWA_UI --appletVersion=2.0 --mode=Uninstall --mediaSignature={74EB3499-8B95-4B5C-96EB-7B342F3FD0C6}"When I run the above string its asking me to pick what I want to install, I wanted the silent switch so there is no user interaction. I am sure there is a switch that I am missing in the string.Josh
Hi,Does anyone have experience in deploying Adobe Acrobat Standard via GPO, or using N-Able?We created a package in the web portal.Thank you in advance!
Around 9pm PST on Dec 31, 2017, my previously working home installation of Adobe Photoshop CC 2018 decided to revert to trial mode. I had been using the Creative Cloud for Teams account associated with my work e-mail address for many months without any issues, but an odd quirk seems to have triggered a hiccup in the licensing for the applications on my home PC (Premiere Pro and After Effects also reverted to trial modes). When I returned to the office on Jan 2, all of my applications on my office workstation were working fine and I verified with our IT department that our Team license is still active and valid...but my home PC continued to list my installed applications as being trials.I logged off of Creative Cloud on my home PC and decided to try and install it on an older home PC. Everything installed as fully licensed there. But I have better hardware in my slightly newer PC (I can't use Mercury GPU acceleration on my old PC), so I eventually need to get thi
I am having problems installing Acrobat on Windows 10. Every other program in the packages I create install, but not Acrobat. We have an education license to creative cloud. I create the package, run the install. Everything but Acrobat installs (e.g. photoshop, illustrator, indesign, etc.). So I uninstall everything, run the creative cloud cleaner, remove any last folders of Adobe, create a new package, run the install. Again everything but Acrobat installs. I look for Acrobat thinking maybe it just didn't create a shortcut. But a search of the computer for acrobat.exe comes up with nothing.I try creating another package with acrobat and dreamweaver. Dreamweaver installs, acrobat doesn't.These are fresh installs of Windows 10. I have tried this on 2 different computers with the same results.I have successfully installed this on computers with Windows 7 though it sometimes takes 2 or 3 installs/uninstall/run cc cleaner repeat to get Acrobat to install. Why is this so difficult
I have been trying for a couple of years, with a couple of deployment products to get ALL older versions of Acrobat and Reader OFF all of the PCs on the domain and deploy a standard configuration of Acrobat DC, now we are on to Acrobat 2017 and still we have to touch over 70% of the PCs manually. The tool provided by Adobe simply doesn't remove everything or even enough of everything for deployments to work. Can someone please point me at a method to make this automated so we don't have to go to Edge for PDFs?
Hi, I have a user within our company that requires support on an issue that he's having with Premiere Pro and Audition. The only contact method I can find to obtain support is to post on this forum, the user has a disability that make it difficult to post on forums, is there a way he can have phone & remote support?

We have about 70 users in our environment and we support Adobe Acrobat Standard 9, 10, 11, 12, and a hand full of Standard 17. Two of our executives got their systems stolen, and we'd like to reclaim and reuse their Acrobat licenses on their new systems.Question: How do we get this done? Thanks!Leon
Hello there, I am packaging up the new Adobe CC Apps and I am using Powershell Application Toolkit to package up the application. I have everything working Uninstall Older App and Install New, this whole process is working with no issues. My problem is that when I uninstall any CC app, it does not remove Adobe Creative Cloud Application. I searched the web and found that I can use the Creative Cloud Uninstaller using the -u command. The issue is that when I run the Creative Cloud Uninstaller.exe -u it is asking user to click the uninstall button. Is there another switch that I can add to make the uninstaller silent? Josh

Hi, I was preparing (with SCCM 2012) a package to install and uninstall the Adobe CC suite 2018 and I encountered a problem. The installation package works correctly, but if I run the uninstall script with the command AdobeCCUninstaller.exe, I get the error message "AdobeCCUninstaller not launched with Admin privileges". How can I solve the problem?Regards
Hello Everybody,I've been working on a Rollout of Adobe Acrobat via SCCM.The Devices that are supposed to receive Acrobat DC currently have installed Adobe Acrobat 9 and thats where the Problems beginn....In my Script i send out an uninstall Prior to the install of DC. On all Client Computers the Script Fails since the uninstall Fails. It took me about 2 Weeks but i managed to figure out why the uninstall Fails - the reason is the pdfmoutlook.dll.Also this Add In is disabled in Outlook its still loaded.I tried unloading it via regsvr32 -u pdfmoutlook.dll and the Computer says it has been successfully unloaded but its not.Now my actual question is:Is there a way to actually remove the .dll completely without having to shut down Outlook? I can not send a Task Kill to Outlook Prior to the Uninstall since someone could be actually working on it and losing process. If you have any idea what to do please feel free to share
I have installed the Creative Cloud Production Premium suite. I am getting the Configuration Error 16, please uninstall and reinstall the product.I have done so, under the root user. When connecting to a Domain account, I get the error.I am using an iMac 27 Mid 2011Processor 3.4 Ghz16 GB RAMmacOS SierraI have called Enterprise Customer Service, and they remoted in and tried to change the drive permissions of the SLStore folder and the Adobe PCD folders to the correct permissions, and it is still failing. They in turn tried to get me to use online chat support, which I lost the window, and couldn't get back in. No case number was given to me.Please, this needs to be resolved ASAP, as this is a repeating and frustrating problem.
Hi!We've created a Creative Cloud package and install it silently. This works just perfect, but when I want to remove it silently, Adobe Preview CC and Adobe CoreSync remain installed. That means I'm not able to remove the Adobe Creative Cloud application. I already tried with the AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool.exe, but this also didn't help.I'm able uninstall both components using the uninstall strings:"C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Creative Cloud\HDCore\Uninstaller.exe" --uninstall=1 --sapCode=COSY --productVersion=2.4.3 --productPlatform=win32 --productAdobeCode={COSY-2.4.3-32-ADBEADBEADBEADBEADBEAD} --productName="CoreSync" --mode=0"C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Creative Cloud\HDCore\Uninstaller.exe" --uninstall=1 --sapCode=PSTI --productVersion=1.3.2 --productPlatform=win64 --productAdobeCode={PSTI-1.3.2-64-ADBEADBEADBEADBEADBEAD} --productName="Adobe Preview CC" --mode=0Is there any possibility to remove these two components silently?Best regards,Gilbert
Hi David,We deploy CC apps using the Creative Cloud Packager and a serialization payload. We don't include the desktop app on our staff or student computers. How would we resolve this error in that case, please? Thanks.Adam
Hi everybody,I need to deploy Adobe Acrobat Reader DC on thousands of computers in the school.I do not want users to have access to tools that are not free. For example, when I try the tool "Export PDF" he sent me to a webpage and offers me to buy the full version. This will generate a lot of helpdesk ticket. I am sure you will understand the issues.I have tried the solution I have find here: DC Tools Customization but it seems not working. For instance, I imported the followings registry settings without success, the tools remains available:********************************************* START OF THE REG FILE *********************************************[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC\FeatureLockDown\AcroApp\cDisabled]"a2"="EditPDFRdrApp""a3"="CommentApp""a4"="FillSignApp""a5"="CollectSignaturesApp""a6"="SendAppFull""a0"="EPDFApp""a1"="CPDFApp"[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC\FeatureLockDown\AcroApp\cFavorites]"a2"="EditPDFRdrApp
