This is the first time I've been involved in a CC installation and I'm trying to get a feel for how it will work.This is a business environment with several users.  Creative Cloud for Teams.1)  I would like to be able to install CC and not force them to log in every time they use the software or at all for that matter.  Is this possible?2)  I would like to avoid a situation where our employees can install and use our licenses on their home computers.  It seems that once they have a log in, they can leave here and install and use on their personal computers.  Is that correct?Thanks.

All my files are synced but I'm not seeing any visual indication with the 'green tick graphic' next to each file.Issue effects my team of 10 peeps, not just me.Have tried to fix using this approach from 2015 : Problems syncing - 'All files up to date' but no green ticks But no joy.Anyone have a fix?Version 4.2.0.211 with OSX 10.12.6

I have packaged Illustrator with the CCP, but when I deploy it to the students they can install, but not open.  Last year when I deployed them I used a .dmg, this year I am getting .pkg and I am not seeing where I can change it.  Would that be the problem?[Moved to Deployment forum... Mod]

Last year we created a deployment image which included Adobe Creative Cloud installed as a trial.  We used the previous method of license activation after deployment.  Can we just change the method of activation with the new model or does the entire suite have to be uninstalled and reinstalled?Thanks in advance for your help.

I have created deployment apps for Dreamweaver, Acrobat DC and InDesign. When I try to install them on a 64 bit machine the msi rolls back after a few minutes.All 3 of the apps do this. I am using an organization wide license for adobe reader dc Pro. I am unable to use the Licence to activate the same product on my iPhone. Please what must I do?

We received the following email:A search of the forum found others talking about this, but that discussion was locked -> Creative Cloud Individual licenses for a business? I see nowhere in the Terms where it says that the regular CC is for "Home users or Amateurs" and it seems to contradict what was said by staff in that linked forum post.Is Adobe just trying to sneakily squeeze more money out of us? We don't have any need for the "Team" features, the three people who have CC use them for totally different tasks.

Aloha all!I run a small Mac lab at a small university. I've got 25 Device Licenses on an equal number of machines.Currently, they're all running CC 2015. I want to upgrade to CC 2017. I used CCP to package an installer, but it installs 2017 concurrently with 2015. I want 2015 to go away. CCP offered the choice to package an uninstaller, but it specifically only uninstalls 2017.All the searching I've done seems to indicate that I'm expected to sit at each machine, log into the CC App, and then select programs one-by-one to uninstall. Alternately, I can use the individual uninstaller programs, one-by-one. Seriously? I have to run a dozen individual uninstalls on each of 25 machines?Tell me I'm missing something. Tell me there's a "delete Adobe" app. Please, please, please tell me I'm not going to spend a week of my life clicking icons and watching progress bars!Mahalo,Tom G

Hello, I am trying to install CS6 on Os X 10.12.6. The installer from the .pkg fails with error code 6. Here is my PDApp.log file. I am unable to understand what this code 6 should be telling me. It seems to refer to specific installers failing, but from the log I am unable to tell which one is failing in particular. We own several Creative Cloud All Apps licenses. I would like to assign just the Acrobat license wrapped into one instance of Creative Cloud and hold the other apps (Phptoshop, InDesign, etc.) for use by another user.  Is this possible?  Or do we need stand alone Acrobat licenses to do this?

I download and created a package, then it said After a package is created, copy the .pkg or .msi file to a destination machine and double-click to install it. You may also use a third-party deployment tool. I copied the .msi, double clicked it but it didn't installed.

Hi Community,we installed CC 2017 with Acrobat on Mac OSX 10.12.6 (Sierra) and are unable to disable automatic updates within the applications preferences. We need to disable it, because this workstation is running in an Internet restricted department  and if Acrobat is searching for updates on each launch, the application is inaccessible, until the Updater is running in it's timeout. The procedure to disable automatic updates was a working fix for the last versions of Acrobat.This setting is in the application preferences dialog and there is a checkbox to disable automatic updates when unchecked. But the checkbox will activate itself instantly without any possibility for us to keep it in an unchecked state. We will be asked for administrator credentials for installing a mystery helper program, but after entering the credentials the dialog disappears and the checkbox is activated again.Can anyone give us a hint how we can setup Acrobat CC either to disable automatic updates or to

However the help section in education shows you how to deactivate, re-activate and how to create a new package. However to add new device licences to existing account, you need to call an education reseller speciallist. Then i get given a number:Purchase additional licensesCurrently, the Admin is unable to add (purchase) additional device licenses through the Admin Console. To purchase additional device licenses, call Adobe Business Direct at 800-443-8158 or an Adobe Authorized Education ResellerNote:The Add Licenses button in the Admin Console is only for adding named-user licenses. I own a K12 License which I got cheaply from my school. It was indeed complicated and a pain in the ass in setting it up, but now all my creative cloud application run smoothly. Except after effects - while all other application start perfectly, after effects tells me that my trial version is expired and that I need to buy a license. I have already tried the RemoveVolumeSerial - AdobeSerialization approach like a friend told me. Hello,I created an Adobe Acrobat DC Creative Cloud installer (Device licensing).  In that process I specified to disable updates.  I tried to use the Customization Wizard to modify the created MSI (as I've done for previous Acrobat Pro installs) but it does not open and says it isn't supported.  From there I deployed the installer via 'setup.exe --silent' and all seemed well.  Adobe Acrobat appears to be automatically installing updates, though.I have downloaded the Group Policy Templates and specified to disable updates but that does not work.  I can modify the registry setting via the Group Policy Preference information they gave but I'd like to avoid this if possible.Any thoughts?These were the URL's I was referencing:Windows Updates Group Policy-Active Directory — Enterprise Administration Guide

HiHow do we deactivate more than 200 devices from CC device licenses? Is there an automatic way to do this? With a new school start these licenses must be activated on new clients for new students.

we have 7 licenses for our office / studio, appropriately named Adobe1, Adobe2, ... , Adobe6, Marketing.  Our pain point is figuring out which team member is logged into which license at any given time.  Because we all use these licenses at different points in the day, very often none are available because folks forgot to log out.  The end result I'm aiming for is for the ability to 1) know who's logged in (possibly through the computer name?) and 2) remotely log them off.  Is this possible? Hi,I'm in the midst of implement the above and have successfully claim the parent domain (contoso.com) and following the steps in Enterprise Help | Configure Microsoft AD FS for use with Adobe SSO . However, I realized that the other AD users in the child domain (student.contoso.com) have an email address of xxx@student.contoso.com and their "Last Name" is empty in the Active Directory.How do I go about configuring SSO for the student.contoso.com domain given the above scenario?Thanks.

Hey folks, how can I enable a user to make changes in a Dashboard in the Adobe Workspace without giving them admin rights?I know that one can copy a Dashboard and then make changes but I would like to skip that extra step, as it confuses some people.Thank you for your help!

Is anyone able to help?We're preparing to push out Reader DC 2017 (Version 2017.012.20095) to our users but have found that we're unable to make the Arrow/Text Selection tool stick as the default.Opening a document, or opening the Application and opening a document both result in the Hand tool being selected.Previously this behavior could be corrected using the aDefaultSelect registry key (as per Preference Reference for Acrobat and Adobe Reader) but this no longer seems to be the case.It is hard to believe this is by design...[Question moved to the Enterprise Deployment (Acrobat and Reader) forum. -Mod.]

I made the mistake of signing into about 12 new units with my user id that dell distributed via digital download. All of a sudden last week issues started popping for the people to sign in. They have been using all along. It is an issue with my user id now also of too many sign in. How do I delete my user id and install another? I did not get any of the serial numbers during the downloads for Dell. Support advised me on the serials I have but not to identify and change on each unit. Thank you in advance.
