This would be so great to add, as I do a lot of podcast editing in Audition which requires multiple volume key frames to be modified, and then later I go to delete a section on that same clip and that clip keyframe is still selected, so instead of deleting the section, it deletes that key frame. Really frustrating haha.   So the option to have keyframes deselect automatically after the clip is no longer selected would be amazing!!   Thanks!

FEATURE REQUEST: AUTO-SYNC ALL AUDITION APPLICATION SETTINGS AND CUSTOMIZATION IN THE CLOUD Adobe Audition 2022, Mac This feature, or lackthereof, is a sticking point for any non-linear editing application using any media. When an editor or designer customizes the app the make it work as an efficient professional tool, the work that goes into those customizations can represent years of experience. Decades! Cloud syncing without personally customized features is a total waste of the user's time and an affront to the way most people work. It's true that different apps have different ways of maintaining, accessing, and saving these settings. But we're in the cloud. This should just be default across apps, including Audition.A user should never have to think twice about when she opens a project file using her own account on a new or different machine – that her customized version of that cloud-based app will be the same as how she opened it on the last machine. Would it be possible to add a master button for pre-rendering tracks?  Quite often I will pre-render tracks when reviewing edits to reduce lag. However it can be fiddly when I want to turn off pre-rendering before tweaking an edit, and then turning each track on again one-by-one when I want to continue listening.  A master switch could toggle the pre-render state for all selected tracks - similar to using the mute or solo buttons on bussed tracks.  Many thanks,  Will 

As far as I can tell, there's no way to easily rename files that are used in a multitrack session. Does anyone know of a way to do this without having to use "save as" and then relink clips? This is a really laborious process if the same file is used in many clips. Renaming files would be a really nice feature given that recording many takes produces all sorts of files with similar names. After working for a bit and finalizing a take, it would be nice to be able to actually name the file something distinct and then easily delete unwanted files. Otherwise I've just got a ton of files named "Track X_00x: etc.

I want to place markers that stick to a clip's timestamp by default so I can label notable parts of a piece I'm editing, move it around my timeline, and not have to separately move my labels after I change the placement of my audio clips. This feels like it should be the default setting of how labels work in multitrack and would be an easy way to keep track of my clips visually, saving me the time of relistening to a section of audio to know what's in it.

In my workflow, I prefer to keep any cut or individual part unmerged with adjacent clips to maximize editing capability, but this makes it hard to move things around when I'm storyboarding my audio into a podcast format. So I use groups to keep sections of conversation together. But even this creates a lot of different groups that are hardly visually different from one another. I want the ability to quickly distinguish these clips both visually and by sub-grouping.Here's the idea. Once I've edited a piece I don't need to look at the waveforms anymore, so let me overlay them with a text label which auto-contrasts the colour of the selected clip. Preferably this will allow emojis and PNGs to be inserted too so that I can further distinguish with symbols as well as name labels.I also want to then put groups of groups together under sub-headings of groups. This would let me build a podcast with audio clips grouped by sentence, topic, speaker, and conversation. Preferably this would let me

In this day and age, the alternatives to audition text-to-speech tools are everywhere, even more with the AI coming our way, and they all mae Adobe look bad. A couple years ago it was pretty awesome, now it's awfully outdated. Come on guys, you can do better!

I honestly can't believe that with such an advanced program, there is no way to keep a clip effect VST3 plugin window up on screen after a single use.... did anyone really think that after a single use, that would be all that may be needed?  Every audio program on the market has this option (a toggle)... to either keep the plugin onscreen after use, or allow it to disapear as it does here.  My wrist hates this program right now... but I love what it can do.  PLEASE ADD THIS TO THE NEXT UPDATE.

I edit a lot of long audio - podcasts lasting an hour or more. I would REALLY like to be able to listen to it faster - like 1.5 speed. That would help tremendously.

I think it would be very handy if I can copy effects from single slots in the effect rack and paste it to another track to it's slots there. Like in Reaper 😉 with rigth click or so ... thanks up front. And it should be possible in waveform effects rack as well.

The ripple delete feature in multitrack mode takes 2-3 seconds to complete for each edit. I edit podcasts, and use this tool often so it's a huge productivity killer. I've found that restarting Audition makes it faster temporarily, but 15-20 ripple deletes later, it gets slow again. On macOS, it causes the "loading spinner" to appear as well. I've attached a video showing the issue.

Currently in Audition's multitrack editor, markers can only be attached to the timeline. It would be helpful to have an option to attach markers to individual clips, so that when those clips are moved in the timeline the markers move with them.The only way to achieve this right now is to go into waveform view and place a marker there. This is pretty inconvenient and involves a lot of clicking back and forth between views.

When creating an new multi track session, the tracks are labelled "track 1", "track2 ", aso... We have to change these name for good organisation and visibility. Track by track. When you have 35 tracks or more...It would be a great time saver to give the possibility to automatically name the tracks by the name of the originating file. Up to the user to eventually rename the tracks before importing, but many are often already well labelled.

I use a Magic Trackpad or MBP touchpad when working in Audition. I could scroll and pinch to zoom in with precision (even while the audio was playing). In the last few updates, this has gone downhill in a big way. Scrolling almost invariably now zooms out and the scrolling motion is... I believe the term is "janky". PLEASE fix -- this is adding significant time to my editing workflow. What was once seamless and invisible is now a glaring time suck. Thanks for looking at it.

Since the most recent update, all my clips are defaulting to symmetrical crossfades rather than asymmetrical.Symmetrical crossfades do not work for dialogue editing, since asymmetry maintains the noise floor evenly.Every edit I make, I now have to right click the fade square and set it to asymmetrical, which is annoying and taking me a lot of extra time that adds up over thousands of edits per episode.I looked in the preferences panel and couldn't find any setting to change this back, nor have I been able to find the answer within the manual/documentation.

It'd be great to have presets for ID3 metadata. When producing a podcast most of that info remains the same. At present I'm having to type it out (or copy/paste) each field. A nice drop down menu with presets would be a real time saver!

I record 32 tracks of live audio coming into Audition via Dante. It is cumbersome to click each individual track to arm them all for recording. A single "arm all" button would make this task so much faster.

The ability to directly open a premiere project in Audition to do the audio work is great, nice job Adobe. But, I often use 'fill left with right' or right with left as the mic is normally only into one channel or the other channel is unsuitable. It is a fast 'effect' added at track level in Premiere but it is shown as not supported when you open the project in Audition. Messes up the entire audio at the point where you want to finish the audio. This would be so helpful for video editors, please

Look guys... everyone else is doing it. It's very simple. And this lack of functionality has actually caused us to move away from Audition for recent episodes.It works like this:Step 1) Enable Ripple editing (global)Step 2) Move a clipStep 3) Watch all the other clips subsequent to that one, on all tracks or just one track (as selected by you), move by the exact same amount - so you're not overwriting by accident on the one hand, or having to zoom way out on your timeline in order to manually select everything that has to move as well on the other (except for Markers of course, apparently we're still not allowed to select them for movement no matter what).BONUS: Markers will follow the movement of clips as well under Ripple, and are not permanently pinned to the timeline - so that the really important thing you wanted to remind yourself to insert a visual aid for later stays atop the appropriate content it was created for in the first place.There is no excuse for not already having t

I would like the ability to have the Edit Mode open on one screen and the Multitrack Mode open on another screen. The way I cut in Premiere is similar. I have Source and Program Monitors, along with Project, Effects, etc. on one screen and a large timeline for the entirety of the second monitor screen.I'd love to be able to do something similar in Audition. Have both Edit and Multi-track open at all times. This way I can easily and quickly doctor clips, then immediately adjust in the multitrack view.

Sometimes we don't have the privilege of gathering room tone, or room tone changes midway throughout a clip (A/C turns on, for example).Ideally, you could run a process (similar to Capture Noise Print) that takes your selection and looks for the quietest bits. Using this, it would generate tone that would match the room tone/ambience of the clip.iZotope RX 6 has a similar feature under the name "Ambience Match," which is an absolute lifesaver.

Currently Adobe doesn't provide the "syn Settings" option. Consequentially I'm unable to transfer my settings in Audition from one workstation to another. This is a contradiction to the intentions in the creative cloud which is under these circumstances only a limited creative cloud.

If I have two mono clips on two separate mono tracks, a cool feature would be the ability to select both clips, and drag them onto an empty stereo track, which automatically creates a stereo clip containing the audio. This would be very helpful when it comes to stereo delays, reverbs, etc.

After I record ADR or FOLEY cues in my Record Templates, I want to be able to import those unedited tracks into my Edit/Mix Session that already exists. I can copy clips from tracks, but I can't import tracks with the settings and names, etc. ProTools has this feature. I can't find a way to do this in Audition. It is so necessary for a smooth post audio workflow. Thanks.
