Photoshop 2026, file > open as > camera raw disallows more than one file to be opened. yet bridge allows more than one jpg file opened as camera raw. Why ?

is major pain when working on pics in photoshop. mmeans having to slow mo navigate to files when Pshop allows file explorer to immediately find the folder I was working on.

there is NO REASON WHATSOEVER to deny us this ability in pshop. esp as its allowed us in bridge.
