I can see the power of AI and frankly use it every day. In Photoshop I use the Generative Fill at least 20, sometimes even more times per day which helps a lot. I would like to see a real upscale feature [link removed by moderator] which does incredible job at preserving details while upscaling the image really nice. I've tryied all the build in Photoshop upscaling modes like Preserve Details 2.0 and what not, but nothing made actual difference and they all suck. It happens quite often I need to bump up an image so I can make the best use of it.So please do you're best and add a real AI Upscale future. I mean like a working one.Thank you!
It would be cool to adjust the density of the curve mask from this window)
I think it would be a better idea to apply the name of the Neural Filter within the Layer Panel, rather than just displaying "Neural Filter" for each element. It takes time to open each filter to edit and you dont know which one is which, until you open them, or toggle the eye. It would be much better to see the name at a glance.
Hello everyone, I think that the Gradient Map Properties window should have a button that reorders the Gradient map stops based on luma values (maybe with variations based on brightness...).
See this thread for a fulld description of the issue along with screen recordings:https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-discussions/window-behavior/m-p/15321221#M865058 Between version 22.2 and 25.12 something changed in the behavior of tabbed winodows with a boarder around the image. Prior to 22.2 if I had multiple images open in a window and pulled the winodw area wider than the image to create a border, the border size would remain consistent from tab to tab. Now the window size jumps around all over the place when going from tab to tab. At the very least you should have a setting to make "window size consistent" when you have a window with multiple tabs.
In the Generative Fill workflow, Photoshop always shows the Enhance Detail button—even when it can’t actually add detail. After clicking, I often get the message “Variation is too small to enhance.” Could you: Hide the button whenever enhancement isn’t possible, or Leave the button visible but add a small red indicator to show when detail can be enhanced? Either approach would save a click and avoid confusion
My company photographs antique books everyday. We do 80-200 images per day where we need to "Select Subject" the seemingly simple rectangular shape of a book to put it on a false white BG. However, the selections aren't perfect enough to batch/automate. Yes, we sometimes use the new Mask tool in Bridge, but it doesn't always work. Yes, we've tried diff color paper back drops to improve the contrast/selection sensing. Still annoying, we end up hand refining the simple selection of a book. Every page sometimes. I imagine it can't sense our objects because "Select Subject" was trained for humans/landscapes? This could be a good improvement for Product Photographers? Perhaps you guys could expand your AI work to create a "Select *AI Command*" ? That way we could give the AI clues on what we need it to see/select in the image? Ex. "Select *Separate the cream colored book with dark brown edges from the white paper backdrop" Let's make
Hello Adobe team,I'm requesting a desperately needed feature: the ability to COMPLETELY DISABLE the crosshair on the Clone Stamp tool.I've been working with Photoshop for over 25 years, and every single day I'm forced to deal with this highly distracting, irritating alignment cursor that severely disrupts my professional workflow.I understand the crosshair is useful for alignment — but it shouldn't be mandatory all the time. Giving users the choice to customize or entirely hide it would be an easy implementation that would solve a long-standing pain for many professionals. Please consider this seriously. It's genuinely frustrating that after so many Photoshop versions, there is still no option to remove or customize this ridiculously intrusive crosshair.Thank you!
I have spent years going back and forth in the slider to get the right size of brush, especially as it pertains to dodging and burning, erasing, etc. The increments jump in huge chunks when done manually (the keyboard arrow button is too tiny an amount for each click) and some, where they land (e.g., 1101... 01?), suggest there is some sort of predetermined amount. An accumulation of literally hours has been spent selecting the precise size in the upper left slider before applying the action. All these sophisticated things keep coming on line -- which are great -- but I have to complain a little.
In Illustrator the brushes, styles, swatches and symbols are stored with the file. Sometimes I have some brush preset in my computer but not in another computer. It will be great if we could store some brushes with the file, then we could use them in any computer.
HiI've recently moved from Windows to Mac and because of this I’ve also moved from Photoshop CS4 (it did everything I needed it too for a very long time) to Photoshop 2025. In CS4, when minimising document windows within Photoshop, they would be constantly visible as tabs at the bottom of the work space, making it really easy to click on any that you would need to work on / switch between / see what you have open at a glance. But now, in the 2025 version, they just disappear. To see them, I have to 'right click' the PS icon in the dock, click 'show all windows' and select the document window I want to re-instate it OR click on 'window' and scroll down to it there... and then repeat for both if I want to re-instate multiple. So, several clicks for each method as opposed to the one click and visibility of files of CS4.So, my suggestion for an improvement would be to go back to the CS4 way of showing minimised document windows.
Currently, Photoshop only allows tool shortcuts to be assigned using English (QWERTY) keyboard characters. For example, the Move Tool can only be assigned to the “V” key, even when using a different keyboard layout, such as Korean. It would be highly beneficial if users could assign shortcuts based on their native keyboard layouts. For instance, allowing the Move Tool shortcut to be set to the Korean "ㅍ" key, which occupies the same physical position as “V” on a QWERTY keyboard. This would improve accessibility and workflow efficiency for users who primarily work in their local language environments. I hope Adobe considers implementing this feature to better support global users.
To be honest, I use Adobe programs for work, however, I wish I had them with me everywhere, I'am an Android user and what I see is that the company has the same kind of positioning as 8 years ago with the Android system , and with that, they prefer to invest more in the IOS system, of course the Apple has advantages due to hardware and security, but many brands who use Android system, it has evolved in this security issue and even with better processors that make the performance of the devices and of better tablets. Isn't it time for the company to rethink this concept of supplying the products to a single public and specific market? Why not develop an Creative Clouds with Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and Fresco for Android?
The Spot Healing Brush was a breathrough tool in Photoshop and remains to be one of my favorites. However, it does not support a feature that the "regular" Healing Brush has: Sample Current & Below layers. Instead, it can optionally Sample All Layers [or only current layer] as a checkbox. Can Sample Current & Below layers be added as an option for the Spot Healing Brush, similar to the Healing Brush's drop-down menu implementation? This allows one to place hand-drawn retouching notes on a layer above the retouching layer. The current workaround is to manually toggle the visibility of layers above, which is not efficient. Screenshots of the current (2025 & Beta / 26.5.0 & 26.6.0) UI options attached. Thanks much!
It's too weak. It needs to be more versatile. Maybe even allow airbrush to be enabled so the blur effect can build-up like water on a watercolor painting.
Selection Snapping Request for Photoshop on iPad Request: Add the ability to turn snapping on or off for selection tools (e.g. Lasso, Marquee, Object Selection) in Photoshop for iPad. Current issue: Users currently cannot disable snapping when making selections, which affects precision — especially when working near edges or complex compositions. Expected behavior: Just like in the desktop version, users should have access to: Snap toggle Snap To > Layers, Guides, Grid, etc. Ideally available in the gear/settings menu when a selection tool is active. This would give users more control and accuracy, especially for fine retouching, cutouts, or composite work. Thanks!
As a graphic designer I regularly use Photoshop. When using the Selection tool sometimes I accidentally don't select pixels / my hand slips etc. There is a current feature that automatically opens a tab in your browser every time you do this for "help" – it takes you to a page called "Adjust Pixel Selections". I know what I am doing and it is extremely annoying to be taken out of the app every time my hand slips and this happens. I can't find anywhere to turn this off and stop it from happening. Can anyone help?
Photoshop has been the industry-standard software for decades — yet its advanced brush management system has never truly been redesigned. In an era where AI reshapes creative workflows, the lack of a native, flexible, and modern brush library system feels increasingly outdated. It's surprising that Adobe hasn’t fully embraced features already offered by third-party tools like MagicSquire or Brusherator, such as:– Color-coded and collapsible brush groups – Smart tag-based search – A dynamic HUD under the cursor for fast access – The ability to create and switch between brush collections, like switching scenes or stylesPhotoshop should provide a native solution equivalent to Fresco’s brush system — which is far more versatile — with no import limitations for .abr files, and no slowdowns or memory-related bugs when using large brush libraries. It’s time for Photoshop to offer a brush management experience worthy of its legendary status.
Photoshop's Character Styles panel is useful for saving text formatting. However, there is no way to assign a keyboard shortcut directly to a saved character style. This means that even if a style is saved, users still have to manually click on it in the panel or manually adjust multiple properties (font, size, color, etc.) to apply it.This is a major slowdown for anyone who works with text in Photoshop and needs to quickly apply different styles, especially to specific words or phrases within a text layer.Current workarounds are frustrating:Manually clicking styles is slow.Trying to record actions to apply styles often doesn't work reliably for text that you select with your mouse; it might only apply to the original text you recorded, or the whole layer.Desired Feature:Please add the ability to assign a keyboard shortcut to each saved Character Style directly within the Character Style Options dialog. How it would work (ideal):I define a Character Style (e.g., "Headline Bold").In the
I'm using Photoshop's Data-Driven Graphics with data sets extensively, and overall it's a fantastic feature. However, there's a major limitation when it comes to image replacement — specifically, the inability to apply perspective transformations automatically. Currently, if I want an image to appear in perspective (e.g. skewed or distorted to match a mockup), I have to pre-warp each image individually before importing it via data sets. This is time-consuming and defeats much of the automation potential. Smart Objects already solve this problem manually — if I relink the contents of a Smart Object, the replacement image automatically inherits the Smart Object's transforms, including perspective. This works beautifully. My suggestion (or plea!) is to allow Smart Object relinking via data sets, in the same way that pixel replacement works now — by supplying a filename in the dataset. Conceptually, this seems like a relatively simple addition, as it could trigger the same r
I want the remove button to be able to detect additional objects from sensors and cables, such as: wall sockets, speakers, sidewalk lamps, public bins, papers on the floor, cigarette butts, chewing gum stuck to the floor
As a Photoshop user who frequently collaborates with artists using Clip Studio Paint, I would love to see native support for the .clip file format in future versions of Photoshop. Directly opening or importing .clip files would greatly enhance workflow efficiency and cross-software compatibility.
I've been using PhotoShop since about PS3 in the late 1990's. It has been my go-to package for scores of drawings in 11 granted U.S. Patents. Since my patent work is proprietary, I don't trust or use the cloud. I got tired of screaming at Windows and slowly switched to Mac, mostly minis, starting with the PowerPC version. So now I use PhotoShop 7.01 on a Mac M2 mini using CrossOver. CrossOver doesn't fully support PS7, and sometimes the glitches are even worse that dealing with PS7 on my faltering Win7 computer (now out in storage). I could learn to use Gimp, but have strong muscle-memory in PS7, and I've gotten way to old to learn new things easily. I really, really want a full-featured, stand-alone, buy once version of PS7 that runs securely, reliably and natively in MacOS on either Intel or Mac silicon.
This would be a total gamechanger and completely change my workflow: the ability of applying filters such as Camera Raw or a simple Gaussian Blur to an adjustment layer would save so much time- talking about this given the new Clarity/Remove fog/Noise/Temperature-tint adjustment layers update that's been announced on Instagram. It's something the competence (Affinity Photo) does have and it's amazing. As for how it'd work- it would probably have to be just a "Smart Filter Adjustment Layer" which applies to all the layers below (something similar to After Effects)- same thing for previsualization of the effect, all the layers below. Live changes would be amazing. This would probably consume a lot of cpu so, in that case, it could be added as something optional to activate in preferences if you have a good PC/Mac. Would LOVE to see this happen.
This is something that would really be helpful. The ability to select objects inside your lasso tool selection that are on multiple layers. You could select the layers you want and photoshop could move and manipulate the objects inside your selection that are on those layers. Why would this useful. Well at work I have alot of elements composed together to create a single portion of the image. It would great to be able to edit these pieces as a whole without having to flatten the image or dissect each element into its on layer. I know people I work with wanted this ability to and I hope others out there might feel its useful for their work flow as well. Thanks for listening.
