Product: Adobe Premiere ProCategory: Titles / Graphics / Timeline WorkflowDescription:In the current titling workflow in Premiere Pro (2025), titles created via the Properties panel can contain multiple layers (text, shapes, images). However, when placed in the timeline, the title appears as a single clip, and there is no way to visually manage the timing of individual layers directly within the timeline. How this would help my workflow:Being able to double-click a title clip in the timeline to expand it inline, revealing all its individual layers as separate tracks (similar to a nested sequence or multicam clip), would allow for precise control over layer timing, appearances, and transitions. This would be especially useful for:Animating the opacity or position of each layer with keyframes.Staggering the appearance of text elements or shapes.Syncing title elements with audio or visual cues in the main timeline.Currently, working in the E
I wish that nested sequences could be designated to automatically go into a bin that I set in either preferences or project settings. There is already a script that does this (Excaliber) so I know it can be done. Would be so much better for keeping project panel neat and tidy. Thanks!
Please, please, please, please, please for the love of god change this. There is absolutely no earthly reason why the final click on the original vertex to complete a mask should convert that vertex from linear/corner to bezier handles. Please. I'm begging you, Adobe. Please change this. I literally can't take it any more. Never, ever, ever have I wanted that one last vertex to be bezier, when all other vertices along the way have defaulted to linear. Why on earth would that click have different behavior. And every single time, if I want to switch it from bezier to linear/corner, I am forced to ZOOM IN (WHY??????) to be able to make the option-click shortcut work, swapping from bezier to linear. If I fail to zoom in, my optoin-click will leave the bezier handles active but reset them to be directly on top of the vertex, another function that I cannot imagine anyone ever using or wanting. Just make it convert from linear to bezier and back, every time, no matter what, and if I want thos
I would love to see an option in Premiere Pro to disable automatic keyframe creation when changing effect parameters in the Effect Controls panel during playback or timeline scrubbing (Audio Effects). Currently, Premiere automatically enables animation and sets keyframes without the user explicitly clicking the stopwatch. This can cause confusion or unwanted keyframes, especially in fast-paced workflows. Please consider adding a global preference like:"Only enable keyframe animation manually"This would give users full control and prevent unintended automation.
I have been attempting to use this effect to display Metadata burnt into the video; Specificaly, I had the EXIF tool wrote Metadata into the source Media for location and recorded/created date. I think there is a bug in the effect; many fields, will not display in the program monitor, despite there being clear data one can view, and even edit in the project window; This is the effect setting: (Description will appear Line 1, But Line 2 data will not) The Project window you can clearly see that there is Data in the Tape Name Field: The program monitor will properly display Line 1, Description. But many other fields despite being visable in the project metadata viewer will not display/burn in on the program monitor. Can someone please advise if I am doign this wrong, or if this is a bug thats repeatable for others? Hello!PREMIERE RPO - GENERATIVE OBJECT REMOVALknow if this is still years away or is "coming soon" as Adobe touted last year. Gen AI extend is handy in my timeline, but gen AI obect removal like the funtionality Photoshop would be a game changer.
Hello Adobe Team,I would like to suggest adding a dedicated option in Premiere Pro’s export settings to control the Color Range (Full 0–255 vs Limited 16–235) for video exports, especially for H.264 and H.265 codecs.Currently, there is no direct way to choose or force full range color levels during export, which often results in washed-out or desaturated colors on platforms like Instagram and sometimes YouTube. This leads to extra steps and workflows involving external tools to convert color levels after export, complicating the process.Having this option built directly into Premiere Pro would greatly improve color accuracy and streamline the export workflow for professional users working with social media and online video platforms.Thank you for considering this feature!Best regards,[Marina]
In the Effect Controls panel the keyframe navigation buttons still overlap with the value fields (like Position, Scale, etc.), making the buttons nearly unclickable without resizing the panel. Despite it appearing to be a relatively easy issue to fix, it has persisted through at least a decade of Premiere updates and there are no signs of it changing anytime soon. However, with the increased focus on UI in recent updates, I'm hoping this is a good time to shed some light on the issue. (appologies for the flickering in the gifs below) This is what I'm referring to: The image below is the minimum possible width the panel must be in order to click all three keyframe buttons: In order to view more of the timeline portion of the panel while still being able to click the keyframe buttons, the Effect Controls panel as a whole ends up taking quite a lot of realestate: This is obviously not a critical issue and there are many ways to work around it or avoid
In many programs, shift + scrolling is often used to scroll horizontally - I think it would be incredibly useful to allow this functionality within the `Project` window so that it is easier to scroll across metadata.Unless I'm missing something, currently the only ways to scroll horizontally are to either grab the tiny scroll bar or to move the mouse to a very tiny portion at the bottom of the project window before scrolling. This can be a little cumbersome when I need to go back and forth constantly and I don't want to have to pop out my window just to quickly get some information or check some metadata. Honestly as an extension to this it would be great to see this functionality in other windows as well like the Effect Controls panel to scroll across and access keyframes easier. Currently manuvering around scroll sections in premiere feels a little archaic Would be a really nice QoL improvement!Apologies if this is a repost, I tried searching for similar posts and came up w
Adobe, you've known about this for years... Loudness Radar in the Audio Track Mixer under the "Special" category dropdown list is still missing on silicon chip Macs (M1 here) -- only Loudness Meter is available. Now, the workaround that we've been using is no longer an option either in Premiere 2024, which was to launch Premiere using Rosetta. (Right click Premiere Pro, Get Info, Open using Rosetta.) So I have no good way to monitor LUFs in-app at the moment. Please make this a priority in an upcoming patch or fix for Premiere 2025. Thank you.
Lumetri's color wheels need tonal range definition sliders like It existed in the old three way color corrector and how It exist in every serious color trading software. It Is needed ti fully control what Is influenced by every single wheel.
Lumetri has only three wheels. Everybody knows there should be a fourth one (like in Resolve and like the chained three wheel in the old three way color corretor). One for shadows, one for midtones, one for highlights and a fourth one for global adjustment.
Now with the integration of so many AI features like the Generative Extend Tool, it would be amazing if the Adobe team could focus some time on the "Morph Cut" video transition in Premiere Pro, please. Would be wonderful to use this tool in between interview clips with a seamless transition. Biggest issue I always have is how jarring the hands transition and morph to being unrealistic and deformed. It becomes way too noticeable so it would be great if this could be mastered better with the help of AI if possible. Thanks!
I like to label clips with colors as my video is playing. I wasn't expecting the Selection Follows Playhead feature to only work once I pause. It would be nice for the clip selection to continuously update while the timeline is playing.
Hi all,I've been editing mostly multi-cam footage in Premiere Pro and I'm always finding ways to optimize my workflow. When I want to see the lenght of a clip that was edited by multi-cam or just any clip, I need to hover over the timeline object (clip). This is not a hard or tedious thing to do, but the latency of waiting for the info to show if I want to check all the clips in the timeline makes up to considerable time.My proposal or question (if there's a plugin that could do this):Having a dynamic indicator after recording multi-cam position/value in the corner of the clip on the timeline. Similar to the indicator when a clip is out of sync, but maybe using a different corner of the clip and/or colour. Hopefully I explained the idea well. This would be very useful for other edit scenarios like music videos or any kind of geometrical or mathematical approach to editing where seeing the lenght of the clip is important either to match frames with other clips, match audio of certa
Please change the way Premiere Pro reads video metadata tagging to allow the import of AVC codec .MOVs. We recently switched to Adobe Premiere Pro but our archive library contains tens of thousands of .MOVs that are rewrapped .MXFs. The initial rewrapping was done as part of an older workflow within FCPX. The video files are now tagged "aivx" which is AVC-Intra VBR. Rewrapping the entirety of our archive is out of the question so this software change within Premiere Pro would be extremely valuable to us. A little more background: I scoured the internet for something to rewrap an MOV to MXF. After rewrapping the file using a program called Filestar, Premiere Pro allowed the import (the video data now being tagged "AVC" instead of "aivx" as seen in MediaInfo) and the file works wonderfully! Out of curiousity, I rewrapped that newly wrapped MXF file to MOV using a piece of software called EditReady and it no longer imports into Premiere Pro, but I can rewap again to M
Simplify Sequence is wonderful for flattening the video tracks when I create a multicam sequence. It would be incredibly useful if it could also flatten the audio tracks. Cameras nowadays record 5 or more tracks of audio that never get used anyway. Manually flattening those can be cumbersome. Ex. if a multicam clip has 20 clips with 5 channels of audio per clip, that's 100 audio tracks that I have to manually flatten. Also, is it possible to simplify into the multicam sequence? I always have to carefully copy & paste the simplied clips from the simplified sequence into the multicam sequence.
Hello, It's very important for me :- there are some software I using it more than Premiere, but the premiere is better and profissional, because one issue for me . and there are more youtubers are talking about it !it's should have quick shortcut to save and exit in second, like ( Ctrl+Q ) or ( command+Q ) or any other key, to save current project and quit and close adobe premiere in second like CapCut, FinalCut and Davince, no need more qustions and messages window like :-1- " you make some changed on project, do you want save it before quit ?"2- " you already have same project name , do you want over write on it ?"3- " are you sure you want quit ?" please remove all those messages, and allow to force quick quit with save current project. or you can add this as option in setting to allow more of users to use set this option as defult for hem silf.Thank you.
Details: The "Enhance Speech" audio effect intermittently loses its active enhancement despite its toggle remaining in the "on" position. The audio reverts to its unenhanced state, requiring manual toggling of the effect off and then immediately back on to restore enhancement.Steps to Reproduce:Apply the "Enhance Speech" effect to an audio clip.Toggle "Enhance Speech" on. Enhancement is initially active.Continue editing the project (e.g., playback, applying other effects, saving, nesting clips).Return to the enhanced clip for review.Observe that enhancement is lost (original noise returns), despite the toggle appearing "on."What should have happened? The "Enhance Speech" effect should remain consistently active as long as its toggle is "on."What actually happened? The enhancement is intermittently lost, forcing repeated manual toggling (off/on) to restore it. This leads to workflow disruption and potential audio degradation.Do you have any third-party plug-ins or panels installed (even

Premiere Pro V 25.3.0. (Build 84) Mac OS Vertura 13.5, Mac Studio M1 Ultra, 64 GB RAM When I edit mask points I don't expect to see the entire mask structure suddently spastically rotating the mask. This is simply not expected nor welcome behavior when trying to refine a mask by hand, which is necessary because current versions of Premiere Pro *do not always accurately track* a moving subject. The resulting mask definitely gets you in the ballpark, but then, there's this curve ball. I always have to go in and refine point positions. I don't wish to go insane trying move a mask point and easily missing the sudden appearance of the Rotate icon until the entire structure jerks sideways. That's like... kid stuff! I SUGGEST when we need to rotate some or all of the mask points, have the function available on A MODIFIER KEY, like Option/ALT. Somebody in some future time and space may actually need it. If I'm missing something here, please let me know.
The Generative Extend tool is currently not available under our Education licensing, yet it remains prominently visible on the main interface. As a result, both students and staff frequently attempt to use it, leading to error messages and the submission of unnecessary support tickets to our IT team. This issue affects both Windows and macOS platforms. To improve the user experience and reduce IT overhead, please provide a way to fully disable or hide the tool when it is not available under the current license.
Regarding Premiere Pro Version 25.3.0 on Mac Sequoia 15.5When I apply a transition effect to clips in a sequence (ex. cross dissolve) and the clip is short enough that the transition covers the the clickable part of the clip, meaning the transition covers the duration of the clip, there is nowhere to click on the clip instead of clicking on the transition, so you have to adjust the transition just to select the clip and then move the transition back--and if you have warp stabilizer or other ai-based effect applied, it then has to re-analyze.In previous versions, the transition appeared smaller within the clickable part of the clip, like a ribbon in the middle, so you could select the effect or the clip without having to move things out of the way. I don’t understand what advantage there is to this new design. The size of both the clip and the transition were fine and the only reason I could see changing it to it’s current dysfunctional version is for purely aesthetic reasons. It would
Still having the massive problem of having to select EDIT CAMERAS for every single edit in the timeline to turn on cameras in the group that were added after the first edit pass has been made. This has to be applicable to all the edits in the timeline, not just the one you have selected. It takes ages to go through a 90 minute concert cut turning on the late additition camera angles and really needs to be fixed please!! Am I missing something, is there a way of affecting every edit in the timeline or is oversight still in v25 after all this time . . . ?
[Moderator: This thread was originally titled "Premiere Pro 24.4 Program Monitor Scrolls". It's been updated to make this thread easier to find. We appreciate - and are listening to! - your feedback on scrolling / panning in the Program Monitor] I just noted after the 24.4 update, My source & Program monitor up & down rollers/scrolls on the sides just vanished or missing. Not sure if this still part of the zoom in, zoom out or use of hand tool new updates which has cause this to be removed or a bug - but, kindly let me know if anyone has experienced this issue. The screengrab below.
