I love the transcription feature and the ability to add captions to video! I hope there are plans to add more language packs. Lithuanian would be valuable to me since I make videos in the Lithuanian language.
Please allow to set a standard bin view. Now it seems to default to icon view, and also it opens a new project window often times when i use "reveal in project" for a sequence or a clip. Also every time i open the project it opens up in icon view no matter which view preset i have set.I find it makes no sense to see a bin with many sequences in icon view.I always have to switch to list view manually.
Premiere Pro does not properly support CinemaDNG media. For starters, not all versions can be imported, specifically the media coming from the Blackmagic Ursa cameras. But even for the versions that can be imported, support for the format is still lacking to the point of unusability. The Media Browser will not see all the clips at the same time. We're forced to go into every individual clip folder for import duties. This is untenable. The RAW controls available are limited to Temp, Tint and Exposure. The controls that are possible and must be implemented are:White BalanceColor SpaceGammaISOColor TempTintExposureSharpnessHighlightsShadowsColor BoostSaturationMidtone DetailLiftGainContrastFinally, because we do not have access to the Color Space or Gamma, the footage comes in with a preset "LUT" applied, making the original Log footage unusable.
I would like to be able to programmatically change the application's Step forward/back frames value using external controls such as Stream Deck triggers in order to dynamically shift the value bound to that setting. Use case: Stream Deck+ user with extensive scrubbing needs. - Using Jump forward/back with multiple interchanging values, like 5, 10, 15, 30, 60 frames gives the user a very great level of control over their UX. I do not want to record tedious screen movements and menu engagement automations.. That is the wrong way to address this. I need an instant, one second fool-proof mechanism. Additionally, if this change resulted in most menu options getting exposed as well, it could birth new, innovative, environment provisioning tools that set up whole user experiences. Cheers
I want to export transcribed text from the timeline without time code or "speaker 1,2,3" etc. I just want separate paragraphs of the dialog...
In the Premiere Pro Program Window, I would suggest a sizing option to include "Fit and Center at 100%" in addition to the other options ("Fit," "100%", "50%" etc.).I prefer viewing my sequences in the Program monitor at 100%, and I tend to zoom in or resize my windows for various reasons, and when going back to my 100% view, find I have to "fit" first, then size at "100%" to get back to my preference of the 100% image centered in the Preview window. AfterEffects has a similar option ("Fit Up to 100%").
The yellow box around multicams should be disable-able considering many people multicams for single camera editing to maintain metadata (and avoid the loss of metadata with merged clips). And it should disable-able without converting the multicam to a regular sequence which defeats the clip-like functionality of the multicam. It's basically just annoying to stare at a yellow box when it's not serving any functionality since I'm only using 1 cam (but want to maintain metadata so avoiding merged clips)
There is a lot of demand for dynamic caption for social media and i have to pay a subscription to another editing platform like capcut to provide that service, adobe needs this ASAP
I've done plenty of projects using the footage modify features to interpret to a 1.33 HD Anamporphic ratio, but it's not working anymore in 2025. Is this a known bug?
Rather than having to do all this manually, there needs to be a button to do this automatically. Or a at least a simple intuitive way to do this for each individual clips. We live in the age of AI. Should rotate and fit the video without cropping and without the black bars if they have the same aspect ratio
I have not done thorough testing, but I believe I caused my Premiere Pro to fail in Playback, Scrub and Export by locating the Media Cache Database in the same place as the Media Cache. (I could be wrong, because this issue only affected DJI 4K DLog .MP4s...?) Playback, Scrub and Export ALL resulted in stutter and frozen frames (but NO "dropped frames" indication). I have fixed the issue by relocating the Database as follows:What I did (putting the DB in the "wrong" place) may have been silly (?), but I have spent weeks, including a support session with an Adobe technician, trying to fix this. I don't expect software to be bug-free, but when it fails there should be a way of telling the user HOW it has failed... to give at least some clue WHERE the problen is. Please bear this in mind as you improve your programs. Thanks.(You'd think I'd be used to this kind of problem, having used Microsoft programs for 44 years!)
You know when this option are available on Premiere pro ? For the social media it's necessary now. The color off caption word change automaticly with synchronise to voice/speech.I've you have a soluce or plugin I need this 🙂 I hope soon Thanks a lot
It's great that we can now zoom in and out in the program window using the mouse! However, when zoomed in, there's no way to move around freely in all directions, like in After Effects. It would be really helpful to have scroll bars or a 'hand' tool for more flexible navigation while zoomed in.Additionally, a dedicated button to quickly fit the view to the screen or window—rather than going through the drop-down menu—would possibly improve workflow efficiency.
Premiere Pro has a quirk where some settings, including Display Color Management, are tied to individual projects rather than global application preferences unlike Photoshop, which allows users to configure settings before even opening a file.Currently, Display Color Management is grayed out when no project is open. Users must first enable or disable it within an active project, after which the setting persists for subsequent projects unless changed again.Since Display Color Management directly affects how colors are displayed across all projects, it would be more intuitive and efficient if it were a global preference rather than a project-specific setting. While this behavior may be due to Premiere Pro’s reliance on sequence settings for color management, making this option available in global preferences would enhance usability and workflow efficiency.
The way ducking works in Premiere Pro is somewhat limited. You can apply it to a media which has been tagged. I can understand why - because this tool needs to know, what to duck against. But the media used for ducking has to be tagged as music or ambience only. So what if there was an option to select a track or several tracks to route the ducking "ears" to them or just use ducking with any tags? Why one might need this? Suppose I have a voiceover and I want to duck it against another one if they were recorded in a small room with microphones close enough to record an opponent's speech as an echo.To do this I have to duplicate the track, leave only the left channel in one and only the right channel in the other and use them both to duck against one another. But this way I have to tag them as music or ambience which deprives me of using the helpful tools found in the Essential Sound if the Dialogue tag is set. And you cannot tag a media twice. So what I suggest is either add a
Please make this part way smaller, it's taking too much space.
could it be possible to adjust the way out of sync indicators make grabbing audio handles incredibly annoying/impossible?Currently it's impossible to initially grab the handle if an indicator is present, and annoyingly difficult if a transition exists but is behind the indicator. The only way to initiate an audio transition if an indication is present is via hotkey (or by dragging a preset I guess) which is a little annoying and flow breakingI'm honestly not sure what the best solution would even be here as I imagine you wouldn't want to move over the indicater incase in causes confusion. Maybe just being able to grab the handle behind the indicator, even if it isn't visible? not the most elegant solution but surely better than having no access to the handle at all.
Let's face it. The new way it has been implemented is really dumb. It used to be perfect. All your essential graphics stuff in 1 window. Easy to find, easy to use, one place for everything you needed. Now for some unknown reason this has been taken out as of PP2025. Bring it back. We want the essential graphics window back. Ever heard of the phrase: 'never change a winning team'? I guess not because Adobe always knows how to make a change in the worst possible way. Listen to your community and users, please. For the love of god. Just listen.
The transcription of the video is a great feature, but most videos are made from numerous source clips. What I want to be able to do is select audio channels in my composition to transcribe, rather than source clips - this gives me a usable transcript for the end video. The composition will change, and the audio should update in real time as I edit. You could even make this an editing method eventually like in some of those other fancy video editors.
Mask tracking between key frames is only linear. There is fade in and fade out but only for the edges. When tracking periodic motion, it would be helpful if there was sinusoidal interpolation and other options for tracking between key frames
I don't know why Premiere Pro doesn't include an "Easy Ease" keyframe interpolation preset like After Effects does. In many cases, this is considerably better looking than Auto Bezier. You can simulate it by applying both an Ease In + Ease Out, but it's annoying to have to apply both to achieve that effect when a simple option would solve that. Also it would be nice to have automatic presets where we could define the default keyframe interpolation for first, last, and middle keyframes, rather than just always defaulting to linear.
Hi everyone, It’s 2025, and we still don’t have a simple way to automatically center the Anchor Point in text or graphic layers in Premiere Pro—why?Subtitles for social media are becoming more and more common. An option to “auto-center” the Anchor Point would be a huge help in everyday workflows. Is this feature planned for a future update, or is there any workaround I’m missing? Thanks! Sven
Whenever I add a dissolve, I'm happy with the default duration I've set in the prefs (it's 25 frames). But whenever I add a morph cut, I want it to be around 6 frames long, but it defaults to 25 frames. It would be incredibly useful if every transition could either:Remember the most-recently used duration, and apply that when the transition is added...or, even better:Have a 'duration' column in the Effects Panel, where we can set each transition's default duration, like this:
I would love to have the dust & scratches effect back in premiere pro 2025. I understand that it wasn't gpu accelerated, but it worked so well in my workflow. I've tried the same method but switch dust & scratches with Gaussian blur, but the results are nowhere near as good as the original dust and scratches effect. Is this possible to add back? If not, does anyone have an equally good solution/replacement for the dust and scratches effect?
I use the same "project file" for everything, i just swap out or add new videos. I know the "offline" videos are missing, I deleted them from the timeline. Now after updating, when I go to export, i get issues about offline items that are not on the timeline, just in the folder. It should be clear they are not meant to be in the video. "remove all offline videos" would help as well, i have hundreds in one file
