If there is one thing I believe would really assist longform editors using Premiere Pro, it would be re-imagining label colours from the ground up. Please, please learn something from Avid Media Composer. Any clip can be assigned any colour from a full palette range - both within the bin (and reflected on the timeline) or just locally on the sequence. A lot of longform editors like myself, especially in documentary organise a whole project using colour labels for contributors, scenes, cameras - and is fundaamentally how I navigate a timeline speedily. Having a predetermined amount of colours per project that Premiere currently has just comes nowhere near being usable.
In Premiere Pro, is there an equivalent adjustment as the Dehaze in Lightroom?
Seems crazy that if you have a project where you are editing your usable footage down to clips and you have, say, 200 clips on your timeline, you cant set up premier / media encoder to export all clips on the timeline. I know there are a few things you can do like render and replace (for individual clips, doesnt work if you have nests making clips) or nest all the individual clips and then export the nests but that is unbelivably time consuming if you have lots of clips. Surely this is a problem people encounter regularly and would be much more valuble to the end user than some of the gimmicky stuff like morph cut. Anyone else see it as a complete oversight by Adobe?
I would like to see a folder button next to the location dropdown in the new project dialog. I know it's petty but it would be easier to go directly to the system file location dialog than clicking on the dropdown and scrolling to the bottom and choosing the choose location option.

I would like all projects within my production to auto-save to the same folder. This keep my production folder tree clean, and keeps me from having dozens and dozens of Auto-Save folders. This seemed to work for a while, but now I keep having all these Auto-Save folders pop up in my Production sub-folders. There's like 8 of them now. In my Production Settings I have Auto-Save set to "Same as Production." Anything else I can do? It's annoying and confusing to have all these Auto-Save folders scattered about.
Reveal In Finder used to show where proxies were located, now it doesn't. I found this a really useful shortcut and I don't personally see any benefit in removing it. Please add it back.
Hi, I am tired of having to put a layer of After Effects composition on my Premiere Pro timeline (via dynamic link) for adding basic text animations to my edit. I have made a mogart that allows you to have simple text animation right inside Premiere Pro. But the thing that is breaking it for me is that the whole line of text can have only a single text style applied to it. In contrast, when working with text inside After Effects, we have the ability to select certain segements of the text and give them a different styling (attached video link for reference). Video: Ae vs Mogrt Text Styling This feature is extremely important since design and hierarchy with different styles is very essential to communicate your message. Is this a feature being worked on by the MOGRT team? Or is there a workaround that can be used when exporting from Ae Essential Graphics? The only workaround I can think o
Aloha, I work for a Native Hawaiian organization. I understand that ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi is probably not a language that Adobe would naturally support as there would not be enough users to make it worthwhile. However, it is part of our mission to expand the use ofʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi and Iʻm wondering if Adobe would partner with an organization like mine to work on adding the language. Mahalo,Jacob
Dear Adobe Premiere Pro Development Team, I hope this message finds you well. I am a loyal user of Adobe Premiere Pro and greatly appreciate the consistent updates and innovative features you bring to the platform. Premiere Pro has been a cornerstone in my video production workflow, and your dedication to improving the software is evident in each release. That being said, I would like to suggest a feature enhancement that I believe could significantly elevate Premiere Pro’s functionality: a native motion blur effect for speed ramps. As a video editor, one of the standout features in competing platforms like Final Cut Pro is their seamless motion blur integration during speed ramping. This effect adds a layer of visual smoothness and professionalism to dynamic edits, and it is currently a limitation in Premiere Pro’s toolkit. While workarounds such as the Transform effect or third-party plugins like ReelSmart Motion Blur are available, these methods are often time-consumi
Dear Adobe, I was wondering. You have all these exotic languages supported in your automatic transcription tool, which is awesome. How about you show some love to my fellow Hungarians, by implementing this language too?It would help me and many others who still have to type in captions manually.
Selceting a transition on a clip has become very un-intuative. Not suited for fast working. When you click on a transition many times it does not get selected.Instead you select the whole clip. And I copy transitions a lot and work fast. When Pasting the transition (i think) I instead copy the whole clip.I think this is nog useable this way. I want ALWAYS when I click on the transition that the transition is selected and not the [move beginning-tool] or the whole clip. Can you bring this back? It used to work fine.
It would be great if future Premiere releases included a motion blur ability in the Motion controls of the effects control panel. I currently add the transform effects to get shutter blur, but to have a similar blur ability to After Effects' button would be fantastic!
Would like to see a feature that when I export my video projects, I can set a custom thumbnail for the file that websites such as Vimeo, LinkedIn, Facebook, Youtube, etc., can see and use as part of the file's uploading process. Currently we have to create and upload an image file alongside the video file each time we post across platforms and they ask for a custom thumbnail. This feature will reduce a step in the platform uploading process, and allow anyone with the file who doesn't upload to sites via Premiere to always have the correct thumbnail to use for that video.
It would be super helpful if we could have the ability to use color labels and "sort by" options to manage the tabs of in the timeline window. For instance, if we have the color label set in the Project window, it'd be great for that color to be reflected in the Timeline window on the tab. Also, it'd be fantastic to be able to sort the tabs alphabetically (or grouped by label color). It's simply inefficient to be dragging and rearranging sequence tabs when you have many open and active sequences you need to hop between.
While editing long-format projects, such as wedding films, it is often very difficult to manually find a specific family member across multiple clips. An AI-powered face detection feature that automatically identifies and displays all clips where a particular person appears would be extremely helpful. This technology is already available in many photo-based software, so incorporating it into video editing should be feasible. If Premiere Pro introduces this feature, it would make an editor’s job significantly easier.
It would be immensely helpful for Premiere Pro to be able to automatically build a sync map for me and automatically create multicam clips by selecting a day's worth of footage (multiple cameras) and a day's worth of production audio. Similar to Avid's "auto sequence" function.
When I go to create a new item in my Premiere Project; I get a dialog box for settings and sentiments for that specific item; resolution, bitrates, width, height, pixel resolution, etc.At this time, in my current workflow I have a folder system and inside each Bin I create my file structure; FOOTAGE, SFX, MUSIC, AUDIO, GFX, VFX, TOOLS, etc...But when adding items to those folders I find the act of "create item, accept item, find item, click item, rename item" much more annoying than if the dialog box just immediately highlighted a "title input field" and when pressing enter completed the entire action in the same bin.It would create a much more streamlined workflow for this scenario in my and all of my coworker editors lives.
Is there a way to make Premiere stop asking me if I want to turn on auto transcription? It seems like every time I open the Text window, it asks me.
I wish this would stick to where I left it. When I uncheck the "Set as default for future sequences" and check "Set by first clip", the next time I use this feature "Set as default for future sequences" is checked and "Set by first clip" is unchecked. So when I have to change the starting timecode of a lot of sequences it is a pain.
i have no idea why this isnt already in the software but can we have a way where we can apply a track mixer preset instead of having to re do it every single time we work on a new project. i work with a client and his track mixer settings are the exact same every time. 4 hard limiters, 4 single compressors each with different settings. it would be mcuh more efficient if i could click 2 buttons and it already be applied (and yes ik about the copying track effects but i dont get why it wouldnt just be quicker to make a preset) can we not just save layouts for this?
Social media platforms have certain areas where the overlay assets at the video. It would be nice to have (regulary updated) safe margins directly from PP for different social media platforms.
Hello, Text transcription in Bosnian language is much needed. I hope so It will be added in fututre updates. All the best, Romano
I appreciate the existence of the "Consolidate Media" function, but the lack of any customizability is extremely frustrating. There's no ability to choose which version you'd like to keep, so often times the version I had well organized in a bin disappears, and the version I'd like to get rid of is the one that stays. Some sort of ability to set which bin should keep the media and which bin should have the media removed from it would be super nice. Furthermore, there's no ability to manually override when Premiere doesn't recognize two clips as the same, even when they're linking to the same file and have the same name. It would be extremely nice to have the ability to tell Premiere "these two items are the same, can you please consolidate them". Also, I'm not sure why Premiere so often imports duplicate media even when the "allow import of duplicate media" box is unchecked. These duplicates are starting to drive me a little crazy.
This text panel is completely unresponsive to size changes, and does not indicate that if the panel is too tight that there are entire sections of input invisible to the end user. Here is the opened panel:Does anything look off? Because I was joking, that panel is tightened and has no indication of missing features or inputs. This next photo is the opened panel. These kinds of unoptimized panel hard points are extremely frustrating from a workflow and design standpoint. Maybe allow the end user the ability to drag those lined section dividers to deepen the space that those multiple controls utilize?1. 25.0.02. Windows 10 64bit3. Resize the Properties Panel, or almost any panel whatsoever4. Better adjusted empty space or decrease of that thereof. Unchanged empty space.
