I have been rendering with the vimeo preset for many years, over many versions of Premiere Pro. Recently I uploaded a video rendered from Premiere version 24 that would not display correctly on vimeo. The video was enlarged and cropped into the center. The vimeo tech support determined that VR video metadata was tagged to the render. I opened the video panel in the vimeo render preset and...voila! Sure enough, VR video was enabled. Once turned off, the new render and upload worked exactly as expected. Why is VR video enabled now, as the vast majority of videos are NOT VR?
Final Cut 7 had that. That way we can meassure the duration of a certain section of our timeline.
Hi, I welcome the "Accessible Color Contrast" mode and use it in After Effects because without it feels to have way too little contrast for text/icons compared to previous UI design. What I really struggle with in Premier Pro though is the fact that row lines are accentuated too much making it actually harder to read imo because the lines distract you. It would be nice to adjust this to match the appearance of the Accessible Color Contrast from After Effects instead for the project panel and Effect Controls window.
I decided to give Premiere Pro another chance after using Davinci for the last two years. But a big feature that seems to be missing from Premiere is still the ability to click on any clip in your timeline and trim either the start or end of it to the playhead. To do this currently, you have to have track targeting turned on for the specific clips, but this is a lot of fuss compared to being able to simply highlight the particular clips you want. I do this all the time in Davinci, so for it not to be a feature here in Premiere is a real shame 😔 I hope the Adobe team add this in the future.
Bulgarian language in transcribing will be soo useful for my job!
Is there a shortcut to create space between clips at the same time, so you can enlarge them, without having to stack them on the layers, I have a shortcut that I set up that closes the gaps, but I can't find it to open the gaps
When using the Remix feature in Adobe Premiere Pro, the Essential Sound panel automatically opens every time. While I understand the intention behind this, it can disrupt my workflow, especially when I don’t need to make additional adjustments in that panel since it pushes everything else away.It would be great to have an option to disable the automatic opening of the Essential Sound panel during Remix operations.
What if there was an effect similar to "Metadata & Timecode Burn-In" that auto-populated a slate at the beginning of a sequence for export? Some metadata that might be helpful to auto-populate would include:- Project Name- Sequence Name- TRT- Date of exportIt'd also be nice to be able to easily include graphic elements like logos.
I want a shortcut I can use in the Timeline panel to remove whatever marker the playhead is on, whether the marker is on a clip or on the sequence. I know I can edit a marker (either with the Edit Marker shortcut or just by pressing the default M on a marker) and then press Delete, but that's a 2- or 3-step process. I know I can remove a selected marker, but it seems that's only when I'm in the Markers Panel. There's a shortcut for removing all markers, but not a single one at the playhead. Thank you for your consideration.
When editing short-term reels or other projects with captions, I often still need to make additional adjustments after subtitles have been added. However, there is currently no option to always link captions/subtitles to their corresponding video or audio tracks so that I always have to move the subtitles afterwards. It would be immensely helpful to have a feature that allows syncing captions/subtitles with video or audio tracks, similar to how audio and video can be linked together. This would ensure that any edits—such as trimming or repositioning clips—keep captions perfectly aligned with their associated content, saving time and avoiding errors.
Hello,How can I automatically move the playhead to the start of the clip selected, so that I can select clips and edit the correct texts, play back the clip and so on. As a point of reference, this work flawlessly in Avid Pro Tools. Thanks!
Hello! Back in 2007, when I used Avid, I used to be able to prep for color sessions and export clean, beautiful EDLS....In 2024, is this still not the case for Premiere Pro? I would love to know how if so. Thank you!
The crop tool in Adobe Photoshop has the option to set the aspect ratio of cropping. In Premiere Pro, however, no other aspect ratios outside 16:9 are not available. When creating a new sequence, the aspect ratio is actually calculated in the UI, but you can't create a new sequence based on aspect ratio. Most people end up using PNG mattes, but this is not optimal when using non-16:9 open gate material etc. You could have an aspect ratio dropdown next to frame size fields, with the usual aspect ratios included, along with "Custom". When you then manually enter a number to either of the frame size fields, the value for other field is calculated automatically. Yes, you can use a calculator, Google or memorize the frame sizes, but a dropdown would make it much more painless. What you have now:What would be optimal:
I wanted to inclued captions in a silent video, but I was really frustrated with the lack of options for the text in the captions and graphics panel. You can choose text color and background color and thats it. If you want the background to be transparent the option is hidden way at the bottom and then you only get one level of transparency, you cannot change the percentage of it at all, and it is barely visable. The opaque option is to harsh for the video I'm working on but the transparent option is to faint to be able to see the text on most clips. I need to have the control to change it to my preference. Why is this not an option anymore? It was in previous versions of premeire pro.
When working in the timeline, I often lock audio layers to prevent accidental changes. However, when using the Audio Channel Mixer, it's inconvenient to unlock a track after editing since I have to scroll through the timeline to locate and unlock the exact track manually. It would greatly improve workflow efficiency if a lock/unlock icon could be added directly to the Audio Channel Mixer, next to the mute and solo buttons. This would allow quick locking and unlocking of tracks without leaving the mixer, streamlining the editing process.
When using Track Effects, it's hard to see, on a 4K screen, whether the effect is on or off. The icon is just a small grey thing, and a silly little faint grey line appears through it when it's off. Effect on: Effect off, apparently:Could this please be changed to something more obvious; green for on and red for off would be the clearest. I know it might not fit in with the "design aesthetic" or whatever, but absolutely nobody cares. Making the software more efficient to use should be the number one priority, rather than making us have to press our noses to the screen to make out these unfriendly UI features. This is how tiny that icon is in the "grand scheme of things". Is that effect off or on??...but if it had a colour-code, it'd be possible to see its state even from miles away:
Please can you make the 2025 Premiere Pro upgrade compatible to open 2024 projects please, otherwise you can never open 2024 projects ever again and this is unacceptable. Microsoft can open all versions of Windows so I'd expect you can sort this out, especially when I'm paying a monthly subscription of over £20/m.
I know that wiggle effect is a thing for AE but is there really no simple , fast, easy way a wiggle effect can be applied to objects in AP?
This isn't a software idea, but an interface idea. I wish it was possible to change the interface colors/themes with more flexibility. I think this goes for all adobe softwares, but black and white is boring. Similar to how you can in other softwares like blender.
So I'm guessing that you haven't fixed the issue that there's no proper way to have a natural tail off to reverb?Reverb needs to actually tail off properly, not stop when the clip ends. Like with everything Adobe there's a ridiculous workaround, but considering the amount I've paid over the years I don't want workarounds. Mod note: New title was added.
Currently if your start Premiere and any projects or Productions that would be in your recents list (either on the Welcome screen or the "open Recents" menu item), are unaccessible then they are premenantly removed. Then there is no way to get those recent items back. I have projects and Productions across multiple hard drives and the recents list is a crucial and time saving way of starting Premiere and getting start quickly but if I forgot to plug the right hard drive in then I lose my recents and have to go hunt for the current project. I suggest the Premiere works like many other Adobe apps, and the welcome screen and recents lists:Show all the projects/productions, where hard drives are connected or notLabel those projects/productions that are current unaccessableMake the path to the project/production visible in the list (rather than just on hover (for the Welcome screen)Make it possible to manually remove items from the Welcome screen recents listAll of this

Something I run into a LOT, is when I label a sequence in the bin, I would also like the option to have the label color be visible in the timeline tabs- so it's easy to distinguish between sequences when viewing the timeline. Thank you for your consideration!
I'm making training video. Only one clip on the timeline right now. Added clip markers to highlight button presses and at the beginning/end of sections that needed to be sped up by 400% (loading screens) Sped up both sections, back to front, with an un-edited section in the middleDragged out the 4 split handles to ease into the speed effectWhen I looked back at the timeline, the markers for button presses were shunted to sit at arbitrary points in the second remapped section, fixed relative to the beginning of the clip, not on the frame they were supposed to mark. I expected markers toscale the distance between any markers in a sped-up section proportionallymaintain the spacing between any markers in a contiguous section of the same speed, and between them and the end of the most recent remapping change before themstay with the same frame in the original, un-remapped clip Currently they treat the clip as though it hasn't been remapped, only marking time since the be
