Flash Player (read-only)

As I understand there has been an update to Adobe Flash Player.  Adobe Flash Player is no longer showing videos on my PC.  Here are my specs:Windows 10 Pro, Version 1709, OS Build 16299.371Edge 41.16299.371.0Edge HTML 16.16299I seem to recall getting notifications of an update and my Norton software blocking this.  However, I did check the update to Windows 10  I got around April 12 and it mentions that I got the security update to Adobe Flash Player so I am not sure what happened.When I go to play any video, I get this message.   Any suggestions of what I should do?

I'm assuming you are using either IE or Edge browser and my reply is based on this assumption. Microsoft embeds Flash Player in IE/Edge and the Flash Player ActiveX (for IE) installer will not run on Windows 10.Microsoft disables Flash by default forcing users to enable it, usually on a per site basis.  See the following for assistanceI saw this comment.and i did same way.but the problem is sameit is not working.so could you tell me another solution ? thank you

Whenever I go onto omegle it asks me to enable flash player and I enable it but there still is a puzzle piece that says flash is blocked and no matter how many times I click run plugin it still wont work.  This problem happens on all browsers.  I would like to figure out how to get it to work on chrome. Also I have put the url in allow in the chrome settings and it still wont work please help.

Tried to update my Flash Player on my iMac. When I got to step 3, instead of continuing to update, I got a a page about getting free service for stocks for 30 days. There is no instruction to turn it down and move on. Very frustrating.

It is easy simple: I need to install adobe flash player on windows 2016. A PC disconnected from the network.The download I did tells me initialize install... connection failed! click retry.... connection failed... finished and it wants to open adobe website...Hallo no internet connection!!! What is not clear?

had to uninstall adobe flash player and now it will not reinstall properly.  It is not showing up in my application programs.

I keep getting a pop-up in the (Windows10) Edge browser offering to update Flash Player. The message appears to come from 'toom6multirho.com'. The graphic presented looks like it's genuine Adobe, but it doesn't say what version will be installed and I've never heard of that 'toom6multirho.com'. I don't trust that pop-up, because I get a lot of obviously malicious pop-ups. Is it safe to allow a Flash Player update to be installed from 'toom6multirho.com'?Thanks.

Flash player has always worked fine for me for the most part I have little complaints, however in updating it, which tends to happen relatively often, it always, every time asks me if I want the updates automatic (which I do not, I always ask it to notify me - it giving me a prompt to update it saying a new version is available is not an annoyance, I like that behavior) ... the annoyance is it doesn't remember that I told it that.... because it redirects to a website that website also doesn't remember that I unticked the "optional extras" (or whatever it literally says) for the unwanted McAffee product.  So that forces me to each time untick this and select that, when if it remembered what I choose in the update utility itself I should only really be required to press a continue (or next) button, I'm fine with it having optional stuff to change in there, but not that is by default set on every time.  Telling the software once that I don't want McAffee extras is more than enou

If I agree to update regularly my Adobe Flash Player I do not want to install anything at all in addition, unless I am freely asked to anwer yes or no as per my sole wish. And I do want also to be able to uninstall additions like MacAfee and True Key by Intel Security. But, this evening, as soon as I accepted the update of Adobe Flash, the wizard installed without any possibility to refuse, Mac Afee and True Key.Later I could uninstall MacAfee, but not True Key. True Key is indeed listed in the menu but when I click right mouse to select uninstall, I am sent to Windows config panel for programs under which True key is not listed.Please, change your marketing and sales policy, and indicate me a safe process to uninstall True Key. For a long time now, we've had mms.cfg deployed to our systems to prevent the Update Notifications appearing for staff; as we manage updates via SCCM. Contents of the mms.cfg file is just "AutoUpdateDisable=1" & we have it deployed to both System32 & SysWow64 versions of the "Macromed\Flash\" folder.Over the last maybe 6-12months, we've been receiving calls from staff who are still getting the update notifications occasionally. Checking the flash control panel applet, shows that 'never check for updates' is indeed set.Today I've received the update notification myself, so i'm expecting some calls again today...The popup window appears to be from the process "FlashUtil64_26_0_0_151_pepper.exe" (or maybe it was FlashUtil32_26_0_0_151_pepper.exe... didn't check, just saw pepper....).How can we make sure this popup stops happening for our staff?

tile says it all. I was using a Cogeco Cable systems antivirus program that uninstalled Flash player on windows 10 with the company installed browser and it has turned into a severe headache trying to get it reinstalled. not using the edge browser.

How can I stop adobe flash player updates reminders?

Hi all,I got the prompt to install an update for Flash Player Plugin on my workstation this morning despite having an mms.cfg file in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash with AutoUpdateDisable=1 as its only contents (UTF-8 encoded with a BOM). Is anyone else seeing this issue?The installed version of Adobe Flash Player 29 NPAPI is 29.0.0.113. I'm on a machine running Windows 10 x64 version 1709.Thanks!

    最近开机后，电脑弹窗弹出正常的flash player更新窗口，我点击“下载”，正常情况下会在这个窗口直接出现下载进度条。但是最近点下载后窗口关闭了，弹出了浏览器显示了一下网页：“flash.2144.com/?npapi”，前面加上“https://”后就可以打开该网页了。明显该网页不是adobe的官方网页。这是不是表示我的更新链接被2144网站劫持了？ !@@

Installed latest version of flash player but when run scan in McAfee keep getting critical error stating to download lastest version I have had McAfee dial in to my pc and system mechanic tech support also dial no one can make this error go away latest version is on my pc what to do??

I don't know how/when it occurred but on sites using Adobe Flash my mouse pointer if off about an inch left and high.  I don't know how to reset it or recalibrate it.  Any help will be appreciated.

Windows 10 Home .. Version 1709 .. OS Build 16299.371 Using Windows built in  MS Edge web browser. The Flash Player "Always Allow" option is not showing when I open the Adobe Flash website in MS Edge. Only the "Allow Once" option is showing.This is also happening when opening other websites that require Flash Player.How do I get this "Always Allow" option to show in the popup.When I click on "Test Flash Player" it tells me that it's disabled, this is not correct.
