My windows 8 computer says I have the latest Flash player update installed and won't let me update or overwrite it.  I am getting messages that I need version 101.52 to operate or that no plug in is not installed in some cases.  In windows 8, I can't seem to uninstall and reinstall the flash player.  My computer says the Flash Player is working correctly

Hi there, i playing games via Friefox wich using Flash Player, but since the newest Version of Firefox, there is a huge performance drop.Asked some other "players" and they said all the same, one of them said "Firefox isnt supporting Flash Player anymore".My Question is, is that True and what Browser is atM the best 4 using Flash player games ?

I'm having problems with the sheer amount of memory it's using.  It's supposed to use a set %, but I checked my task manager and found it using 2.8gigs out of my total 4 gigs.  It ran so slow it eventually stopped working because it had used ALL my memory.  All I was doing was watching anime via Crunchyroll.I'd say there is a major memory leak.

Hi, I am a new member and not at all tech savvy. I use windows 7 pro and a 64 bit system. I play flash player games like battle pirates and seaport and they asked me to install the latest shock players. They run very laggy and I noticed that the shock player version downloaded was 32 bit while my system is 64 bit? a couple of questions, should I uninstall the 32 bit player and install 64 bit player? anything I can do to stop the laggy and jumpy performance when playing these games. My partner using the same router and playing the same games hs no issues?

I have a HP offiice 5 in 1  printer scanner pro 8500 I can the document I see the scanner working it the gives meon my computer screen   An error occurred saving the images to the chosen field I am not tech person I have loaded and reload adobe  and the printer Help thanks

I am having trouble with adobe shockwave flash player, it keeps crashing, I have tried different browsers, uninstalled, re installed, cleared cache, and it still crashes. I don't see any other flash players for games on windows, so I have to keep using this one. Please Advise....

Currently supporting a large organisation, recently had an issues where Flash player Version's 27.0.0.170 and 27.0.0.183 Caused Internet Explorer to Crash after 10-30 seconds. Initial fix was to roll back to Beta version 127.0.0.180, but this caused slowness issues.We have now updated to latest Flash Version 27.0.0.187, which also fixed the crash issues, but, Applications used on Internet Explorer run extremely slow. Does anyone have any suggestions? It appears that Flash is using large amounts of memory on updated workstations.OS - Windows 7 - 64 and 32 bitIE Ver: Internet Explorer 11 used in Enterprise mode.  Also some machines using Internet Explorer 8Any help would be very much appreciated.ThanksToni

Hello We are using W7 64bits workstation with Flash Player to access a Flex server application. Since we updated our workstation with Flash Player 27, we have Internet Explorer 11 crashes.When looking at the event log, we can see an event caused by one file belonging to Flash Player. We tried to update to minor versions of FP (27.0.0.130 => 27.0.0.170 => 27.0.0.180 => 27.0.0.183) but the issue happens still.We know that this version 27 of Flash Player is the rootcause because when we downgrade the station to FP26, there isno IE11 crash and the application is working fine.However, we cannot downgrade our stations to FP26 for security concerns.Please find attached to this post a DxDiag.txt file to describe our configuration Do you know about this issue ?  it seems some others peoples reported similar issue, but they have no means to solve it. Do you think a new minor update of FP27 or a new update of FP28 will be released soon and will solve this issue ?

Every couple of minutes, I get an error message that says that I am not using the latest version of Flash (when using Safari), and to download and update Flash.  I have used the link in the error message and have downloaded that software.  I have installed, restarted Safari as suggested (shutdown and restarted), and a few minutes later I get the same message.  I went to the Adobe web page and found a page that would check to see if I had the latest version;  same answer - I am using the latest version.Please tell me what to do to solve this problem.

It seems that with Safari 11, the 'safe mode' for plugins is more strict than version 10. In particular, a Flex application using FileReference.browse (to upload a user selected file) will no longer work when the user upgrades from Safari 10 to 11.The workaround is for the user to disable 'safe mode'. But this is obviously cumbersome in the case of an application with large deployment. Another workaround could be to fallback on the html <input file> but cumbersome as well.Did anybody else encounter this problem ? I couldn't locate any info on this change in the Safari 11 release notes.

A few days ago my local .swf files ceased to able to be opened via Opera, Chrome, or Firefox (I refuse to touch Internet Explorer for many reasons). What happens is, regardless of browser, it opens a Save As window as if I'm downloading the file. I've tried using a standalone .swf player, and for a few minutes it worked, but it wasn't a very good program. I tried reinstalling Flash, but now there is no system folder for it. When checking my status, it says that I do not have Flash installed. I can access Flash settings from Control Panel, but again, there's no system folder for Adobe at all.I'm running Windows 7, and my primary browser is Opera (ver 49.0.2725.39).I even tried rolling back to an older version of Flash, doing a system restore to the day before things stopped being functional, but nothing is working.

Flash player did not work on google chrome although it is enable. When I play facebook video, it shows to download flash player. I have already downloaded and installed it. When I check with flash player help, it shows "flash player is disable" as shown in attached picture. When I check the chrome setting as per guideline, it has been already enable. Pls, could someone help me?

We have a flex project which called from browser by using a swf file. So I have had to uninstall flash which went fine. The problem I have is with installing it. I have tried at least 8 times now. It either stops at 52% and says Chrome is open which it never was or it says it's finished and takes me to a page that doesn't load and when I look at my downloads it says it's deleted. It will NOT let me reinstall it no matter what I try to do

Hi there,I am using MacBook OS high Sierra 10.13.1, Safari version 11.01 the last flash player installed today. I have my problem since 4th of November. I have played bridge at www.bridgebase.com for at least 5 years. Since 4th of November, when I log in www.bridgebase.com, I have been redirected to a page telling me my computer is infected with 2 viruses and 1 trojan , system damage 28.1 % and I need to install MacKeeper. I asked Apple Care to check my computer. They found it is just an add, no harm and suggested to contact Adobe and BBO. BBO stopped adds going to my computer. It didn't help. The other browser- Mozilla was affected also. Shortly not only BBO but every site started to crash in every 2 minutes. I installed few add blockers recommended by apple store without success. Antivirus programs didn't find any virus. [moderator: edited OS version in title, per comment #2]We're trying to install the Adobe Flash ActiveX + Adobe Flash Plugin via SCCM.After deploying the package, I can see Flash Active X is installing fine, but the plugin installation is not showing up.The installation in both cases points to a MST transformation file - which is noted in the installation path of the Task Sequence Package.I'm wondering if Adobe Flash flags are differentiated in version 27. We haven't packaged this software since version 16, and I understand their may be differences in the way it's done now.Thanks,Marcus

We have many Windows 10 machine that require the ability to play flash video content from within PDF files in IE 11.Background: Our training material is web based, and contains PDF document with embedded flash videos.the users are getting I was able to get working by installing flashplayer27pp_xa_install.exe as per Adobe Flash Player needed for Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Acrobat Reader .I need to be able to automate this, to push out to our users, but at the end of the above install, it pops up a web page.I can't find an equivalent suitable installer for  IT .Are there any command line options, or  is there an equivalent MSI that I am missing?ThanksDave
