Flash Player (read-only)

[moderator: edited title to accurately summarize issue]Hi, I am currently having issues with my Adobe Flash Player. It seems that it is NOT working on my PC but are working with all browsers installed (Chrome, IE, Firefox, etc.). When I checked, a Adobe Flash (32-bit was installed) although my PC is running in 64-bit. So, I tried to install a 64-bit for Windows 10 Adobe Flash and it prompted me with this error.  I could not find any solution on the web, they are all about browser issues. I hope someone could help me with this. Thank you.

I have an iMac.  Recently, Xfinity streaming (to watch TV or get at my DVR) is having trouble with my adobe flash even though I update it over and over again as it continues to ask.  Never had trouble before.  Why isn't it accepting the updates?  Other websites that use flash have no problem.   Could it be that maybe Xfinity is a complex website that requires extra security like McAfee?  Normally Adobe does not like these things.   Or something got on my computer that is bothering interaction between Adobe flash and Xfinity?  I checked my applications for anti-virus software and found none that I recognize from the file names;  and temporarily moved malware megabyte to trash.    No help.One time I tried to open up the Adobe flash folder or file or whatever it is and I messages to buy McAfee which would not take no for an answer unless i shot down Safari.   Megabytes removed malware which might be related to

I'm running Windows 10 with Edge browser.  I also use IE 11.  I keep getting a screen that pops up telling me my Adobe Flash Player may be out of date.    It looks like a legitimate Adobe screen but I am suspicious about it.  It asks me to find FlashPlayer.hta in my download folder and to click on it to install the update.  The reason I'm suspicious is because it seems to come from koo3ebulkjewel.net which seems rather odd to me.  I click "cancel" and it pops up again a few days later.  This has been going on for several months.  Does anybody know if this Flash Player "update" is legit or not?  Advice or recommendations will be greatly appreciated as I certainly don't want my system to get infected.

This "Adobe update" automatically wanted to download a disk image on my Google Chrome browser, luckily chrome asks before downloading and i canceled it.I  already emailed the phishing team about this issue but i feel its important to bring it up here as well.

Hello Adobe,We are facing issues in opening a pdf document and were instructed in the prompts to install the adobe flash player. After correct installation (we have checked the control panel) and checking the system settings, when we try and open the pdf we still receive the request to install adobe flash player.Please advise the correct steps to fix this issue so that we can start working on our pdf.Thanks Sam IT

I am using an older laptop that runs Vista. Yes, I know it is no longer supported by Microsoft, but had no trouble downloading and installing anything until I had to run a clean install because of a virus. Everything is running fine again, but now I can't install Flashplayer. I have not had an issue installing other things since I did the clean install.

I have issues with flash player! It won't let me do my homework because this requires flash player. I tried everything that it tells me to do, but I won't work. It says that the flash player is installed and it is working, but once again, it won't let me do my homework do to the flash player "supposedly installed" that it's not installed.

I have verified, allowed in settings, and tried every solution scenario on my computer running windows 7 with chrome to enable a gaming site to use flash plug-in including verification of installation, latest version, adding to "allow" option in settings for individual sites, allow sites to run flash, restarting, reloading, watching it run correctly in the "test my computer" window graph, and the tech people in the sites contact us link are still telling me to enable flash to run on my computer. Obviously it is still not working entirely correct on this site. I can still play the games but what am I missing??                                                                &nbsp

When I try to play games I get an enable bow for flash player. It has options like settings, global settings, and I can't get out without shuting down my computer.

I am having trouble downloading flash player. The downloading bar gets to 52% and then it asked me to pick a program to continue. It brings up a window with Chrome to be selected but there is a red circle with a line through it. I've enabled flash player for chrome and for the website but it still won't work. What do I do?

Hi there,I have been using the beta 11.2 and now the release of 11.2 and from the start I get a pop sound when I move the play bar ahead or back amd I loose my buffer.Say I'm watching a video and I am 1/4 into the video and my buffer shows 3/4, if I advance the video to say 1/2 way, I hear a high pitch tone and a POP and then the buffer starts over from that point.I never had this issue with 11.1 and it does this in all the beat 11.2's I tried.I was hoping it would be fixed but it is not.Anyone else notice this?I am using windows 7 with IE8 32 bit.Thanks

Hi ich habe ein Problem und zwar wird seit schon sehr langer zeit mein Primär Monitor (asus vg23a) für ca 1-3 Sec Schwarz.Dieses Problem hab ich sehr oft bei Flash Videos aber auch hin und wieder ganz schnell hintereinander wo zu dem noch das AeroPack von Windows sich de- und wieder Aktiviert..Der Monitor wurde bereits 2 mal schon Repariert von ASUS, Grafikkarte wurde auch schon getauscht und System ebenfalls neu aufgesetzt.Doch das Problem blieb bestehen 😕😕Es ist aber auch bei Youtub Videos zu finden, aber nur wenn ich auf HD stelle und generell bei HD Videos jeglicher Art bei Flash aber immer 😕😕Ich habe schon verschiedene Treiber von Nvidea Probiert und auch schon verschiedene HDMI Ausgänge (Monitor sowie Grafka) und auch kabel.Nun bin ich mit meinen Nerven nach gut 3 Jahren wirklich am Ende...PS: Das wirklich lustige an der ganzen Geschichte ist das es nur den ASUS Monitor betrifft nicht aber meinen zweit Monitor der als erweiterter angeschlossen ist

The symbols  for start/pause/stop are not visible. I do not know whether this is a flash player problem or something else. There is nothing wrong with running the flash player on streaming video on IE11 and there is no problem with the sound. Moving the mouse along to the right there comes a point when the vertical line for volume shows up. The flash player on other browsers like chrome, opera or firefox  are all complete with their controls. IE11 however fails to be up their standard. How can this e corrected, please?

So when I try to load flash based games, etc... in Incognito, they no longer work. As of today. The day before yesterday there were no issues. I've made sure Flash is always (via the secure option drop downs) allowed on the page(s) in question and still no dice. I see this had happened before with the solution then being under switching off html over Flash, but that's no longer an option, so what is it this time?
