Hi,How can I set this option (DisableSockets=1) for Pepper Flash (Chrome)?I've visted the Settings Manager page and didn't find such an option:https://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager02.htmlI've also added the mms.cfg file to these directories:C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\FlashC:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\FlashC:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Pepper Data\Shockwave Flash\SystemBut unlike IE (which no longer ignores the proxy setting), it seems that Chrome doesn't read any of them.I need to disable it so that flash will use the proxy server instead of directly connecting.Thanks.

Flash Player is integrated with IE now. I am showing to be needing an update (27.0.0.170) but when trying to install it through windows updates but I get an error message "Update Adobe Flash Player, version 27.0.0.170 (Active X) - Error 0x80070643." When looking in event viewer it shows "Products: Adobe Flash Player 27 ActiveX -- Your Microsoft Internet Explorer browser includes the latest version of the Adobe Flash Player built-in. WIndows update will inform you when new version of the Flash Player are available." When I look in programs and features the ActiveX version is older. When going to Flash Player site it states that I have the latest version. What do I need to do for my program of Flash Player to reflect the newest version? Is it really on the latest version. How do I fix this?

Im trying to watch my tv from my laptop via Virgin anywhere tv but when i get to the channel page it keeps popping up saying flash player blocked and when i click allow nothing happens no matter what i do. I have changed my chrome settings to always allow but its not changing anything. any suggestions.

Browsers are stopping supporting Flash. Next year it will become more difficult to use a Flash application and later browsers won't run Flash at all.I have a Flash application that I want to show to people.How do I make sure that I'm able to run and show my Flash application?I'm using Linux (Fedora), but if there is a solution that uses Windows, I can consider it as well.

Hi there! I'm using a pretty old Macbook, working on OS 10.6.8, so i'm using an older version of Chrome too (49.0.2623.86) . Up until this evening I've always used this Macbook for everything and it worked all well, even though it's old and uses outdated versions. I could open any website, watch any video, use any kind of videoplayers without a problem. Even today I watched videos and it worked fine.Tonight I opened a news item video of yahoo news and all of a sudden it wouldn't play. Then I opened videos which I watched earlier in the day without any issues, but again, suddenly it doesnt work anymore. It says that Flash is blocked because it is outdated, the play icon on the video box is as usual but when I click on it it goes gray and shows a puzzle icon and says, flash plugin failed to load. Then it has two options:Approve for once or update the plug in. If i click the first option, it doesnt do anything, if i click on update the plug in it takes me to Google Chrome help where they

Maybe you can help me aswell,I have an imac with snow leopard on it with chrome as my default browsersince a few days it says that my flash is not up to date.I downloaded flash pepper for apple but it keep saying flash out of date.What can i do to solve this matter?kind regards Mark

I don't know what else to do. I have tried everything. My adobe is installed but it says it says it is disabled but I go to settings and it is enabled. I use to go onto a chatroom before but I had to do a restore and since then I cant load the chatroom. They say it is nothing there end but Adobe wont let me open it but it keeps connection error and to try again. I cant even get it to update as in the settings the adobe settings page is highlighted in grey. I cant get it to go to black. All this from a reset which it tells you to do if you are having problems. Karen

Hi All - I received a pop-up window saying that my Flash Player may be / is out of date.  I proceeded to download and install the update, but noticed that source of the update was eicharesponsecenters.net.  I've done a search on eicharesponsecenters.net and do not get any results.  When I try and access eicharesponsecenters.net, I get "can't reach this page".  Thinking I may have downloaded malware, I did a Windows Defender scan, but no threats were found.  Has anyone had a similar situation - or know anything about eicharesponsecenters.net?  Note:  I'm using Microsoft Edge browser on a Dell laptop.  Thank you.

I admin a bunch of Macs and I'm constantly getting complaints from the users that Flash installer icons build up on their desktop.  The only way to get rid of them is to call me to put in the admin password to throw them in the trash.   I have each machine's Flash plugin setting to "Allow Adobe to install updates" so they are always on the latest Flash version.  Any help would be appreciated!

On the bulletin page it says this vulnerability exists in version 27.0.0.159 for Chrome and Desktop.  It doesn't say prior versions so if we are running 27.0.0.130 for Chrome and Desktop are we ok?  I was skipping .159 because it wasn't a security update.

Hello everybody,I have an issue with Adobe Flash Player:I am using a software which shows Flash Player videos & animations and I have the following issue:When I try to read a Flash content, I can hear the sound perfectly, but the screen remains blank (white). If I go fullscreen, after a few seconds images start to appear     but there is an important "Flickering/Blinking" effect. For a few miliseconds the screen will be all blank (white), then the image of the content I am watching will appear, then it will become blank again, etc... at a quite high frequency (several times a second). It is a kind of "stroboscopic effect". If I leave the full screen mode, the same issue (blinking) will continue. I am not sure about this information but I believe the software I am using is based on the Chromium browser as I've seen a file named "Chromium Embedded Framework.framework" in its installation files.I am requested to have the PPAPI installed to be able to use the softwa

Hi there, I've been playing the same two flash games for quite some time now and i have an issue where i used to white screen a lot (White screen with gray explanation mark in the middle) and after trying out many different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge) i moved onto Opera where i have no issue with one of the games... However the other game starts to get lower and lower fps the long it's open, sure i can just reload my page everytime i need to interact with the game but it's a pretty big hassle especially since i like to leave it running as it auto-enters some battles.Specs:Intel i7 4770k 3.58 Gig DDR3GTX 760 2GBWhat could be causing this issue?PS: Someone told me that it could be a lack of RAM however this happens even with only the 2 games open on Opera and they are only using about 40% of my RAM

Some sites in the Chrome browser are requesting an update to the flash player (using windows xp). I successfully update the flash player, but the sites do not see it and again ask for updates to the obsolete plug-in.[moderator: added OS/browser to title]

the newest update for Flash Player 27.0.0.159 is causing IE 11 to recover webpage before it even loads videos or games or even adobes own test page...this is on a Windows 7 pro computer.....you tube videos face book apps.....I uninstall the flash player and pages will come up saying I need flash player..
