Flash Player (read-only)

I'm doing a pilot deployment of Flash ActiveX 26.0.0.131 to about 50 Windows machines running Win7 Enterprise x86/x64 and Win10 Enterprise x64.  I'm deploying the plain-vanilla adobe-supplied MSI with no alterations via SCCM with an install string of msiexec /i install_flash_player_26_active_x.msi /qb.About half of the machines that ran the install are failing with a 1603 (fatal error during installation).  I connected to several of the failed machines and looked in the Application Event Log to see what was actually failing and this is what I found on each machine:Reading up from the bottom:event ID 1040 - the Windows Installer starting transaction install_flash_player_26_active_x.msievent ID 10005 - Product: Adobe Flash Player 13 ActiveX -- The version of the Player that you are trying to install is lower than what is currently installed.event ID 1013 -  Product: Adobe Flash Player 24 ActiveX -- Error : The version of the Player that you are trying to install is lower

I am constantly receiving this error. I have tried uninstalling and clearing my cache data and cookies. Hi,We have some UI pages in our product built using flex . Normally customers are connected to Internet and the browser automatically downloads the plug in . Everything works fine . In a closed box environment ( no internet connection) , we have copied the plugin offline and installed . The flex pages are not loading . if we connect to Internet briefly once, everything starts working .  We can't connect certain systems to Internet connection  .  Any workaround to make flash player work without  connecting to the internet ?thanks in advance

Last night I got a Windows 10 update. This morning when I went to read the online paper I subscribe to I got a error message that said Flash not Enabled. I followed the link and tested Flash and it said it was installed. They also showed how to make sure it was enabled in settings which it is. I went back to the newspaper page and I got the same message. Before today I was reading this page with no issues in the Edge browser. I just found out that if I go to the site with Google Chrome it works just fine.

I have a new laptop.  I thought it came with the latest version of Adobe.  However, when I visit certain web sites to view video clips, it advises me that I have to download the latest version of Adobe.  I contacted my computer vendor (Acer), and they advised me to contact Adobe Support.  The representative I spoke with at Adobe Support advised me to utilize the discussion forum in order to receive a video that explains how to download the latest version of Adobe. If you would please provide assistance with this, I would greatly appreciate it.  Thank You.

Flash Player disappeared from my PC after latest Windows update. Cannot seem to get it installed anew. Yes, I have Flash Player enabled. What else can I try? Edge in Windows OS 15063.413.

Mac OSX - FlashPlayer has been updated to most current version yet will continue to interrupt all other processes hourly to request update.  Please help.  Thanks!

This is the only place I can find on the website to complain about the terrible experience downloading and installing Flash Player for Safari 10.12.5.  I finally accomplished it after many tries and time wasted.  Instructions are completely unclear.  I have a technical background and have solved many instrument/computer problems by following directions for troubleshooting.  It took a lot of search to finally find a way to complete the installation.  I was to the point of giving up and had decided life will be much more pleasant without this.  I can enjoy doing many other things!!!  Adobe definitely needs to improve the instructions and make them easier to find.  All settings in security were set to accept the download but it didn't happen until I searched for at least 30 minutes on the website.  If this does not continue to work, I will not try again.  Also, I will walk away from purchasing anything from Adobe.  I don't want to was

My OS is Vista and my my browser is Firefox. When the dialog box initially appears that says save file everything's fine but when I try to double click the file nothing happens. I have uninstalled my previous version because it was skipping too much. and I've tried disabling my anti-malware and nothing helps. Any suggestions?

Everytime flash finishes update, it automatically opens a new tab in the default browser redirecting to its website with "well done you've updated bla bla bla". How to disable this?I don't need it to tell me I've updated to latest version. Of course I know it's updated because I am the one initiating the update.My default browser is chrome. If I haven't saved my last session and chrome is closed, it will open a new tab and replace my current session.If my last session was saved, then it will open the new tab along with hundreds of tabs from my previous browsing session.At any rate it is aggravating. It is obnoxious and presumptive that some programmers think that their programs have a right to open my browseron their own accord without my permission. I have installed and updated my flash player and have gone to settings/content in google chrome and have allowed flash but still when I'm trying to open something which is using flashplayer it is just not opening and loading to adobe page where it is showing new version installed . System is 64-bit Windows 10.  Using Edge as Browser according to Win 10, but according to Adobe, I'm using Chrome ... why?Second question:  playing a game that requires more than 100K local storage.  Changed storage for that game to 1mb.  Still it locks up with the cute lil Local settings window in the middle of the game, which I then must re-boot.What do I have set incorrectly?  OR what can I do to solve this problem?

While getting an Adobe Flash update from a site that looked like yours I was taken to REMOVED for a download that executed, is this legit?  This site could not be found when I looked for who it was.

First of all,I have no idea if that's the right place to ask for help,but I hope someone would give me an advice.So,I'm playing that game for 2+ years now and I've never experienced that problem before. The problem is - I play the game,I decide to open a new window to play some music and when I return to the game, I usually find the screen blank or staying in the same position without moving. Sometimes I return to the game and everything is OK,but in most cases it's the way I described. So each time that happens I have to restart the window with the game,so it gets back to normal,which gets really annoying. The problem is from 3-4 weeks I guess.. I would be really glad if I receive some help or advice.Thanks in advance!

Hi, When I try to get to the control panel and click on flash player to try and access the flash player settings manager, nothing pops up. I have tried re-installing flash multiple times but still nothing up - all I want to do is access the trusted location settings but can't because of this : (Windows 10Flash player 11.8I use Google chrome, latest version-  Version 59.0.3071.115 (official build) (64 bit)Thanks!

Anyone else having this issue?  Last night my computer installed updates,  several windows updates and the Flash Player update.  This morning the sound would not work on my computer & windows would hang when I tried to open the sound troubleshoot feature.  After re-starting I looked at the list of updates that were installed & guessed (correctly) that the Flash Player Update (2017-06) must be causing the problem.  I uninstalled the update, leaving all the windows security updates intact & my sound started working again.  Problem solved, right?  Wrong!  about 20 minutes later my computer became very sluggish - Adobe Flash Player Update 2017-06 was re-installing, and my sound quit working again.  I have done this 4 times today & it just keeps happening.

Hello!.Although I have read some topics of the forum, I do not find strictly, mine.My problem is that it does not allow me to download the latest version of Flash Player, I have version 25.0.0.127 and it does not let me download version 25.0.0.163 this happens to me in the Internet Explorer browser with Windows 10, and the McAfee antivirus that I have requires me to do this update. It is supposed to be automatically updated but this has not happened.Thank you.

Video reports embedded in www.ft.com will not run since today and remain blank.  Never had this problem since Flashplayer was installed two years ago.  Checked confirmed good installation of latest version 26.0.0.131 with IE 11 and  Windows 7.  ActiveX filter is off and cache deleted.  Two installed programs listed:  Adobe Flash Player 26 ActiveX and Adobe Flash Player 26 NPAPI.  Suggested solution(s) will be much appreciated as I am loath to try uninstalling and reinstalling.

Hello,I am unable to see course content appear in an online class I'm taking. The white box appears, but no text. I cleared my browsing history, restarted my computer, refreshed the page, etc., but to no avail.I use Windows 10, Chrome. When I try to download Adobe Flash Player it says "Note: Adobe Flash Player is already installed, but disabled. Click here for more information." When I do, I am instructed as to how to allow sites to run flash and see that my setting is ALREADY ON and that the site I'm having trouble with appears in the allowed list.In other words, Adobe is telling me that Flash Player is disabled in my settings when in fact it is enabled.What can I do to solve this problem?Advanced thanks to anyone who can help.Luba

Hi,I've applied for a distribution licence, request approved.I need the pkg file to roll out to circa 150 Macs via Apple Remote Desktop, it handles all deployments but they no longer provide such a file.I thought the redist licence would grant access to this, but I can't seem to find any location that will work?Any ideas?Thanks
