Flash Player (read-only)

Every time I stream video from my Mac (OS Sierra Version 10.12.2 ) to my Vizio hdtv (Model M420SL) online using Chrome for example on the ESPN or TNT websites I always encounter two similar problems and they occur when I use Chromecast or plug it in with an HDMI cord. Either the screen is zoomed in too much and it won't let me zoom out or only 1/4 of the screen is showing the video (the top left of the screen) and the other 3/4 of the screen is just white, but when I zoom out my tv screen goes back to normal and displays everything. These problems only occur when I enter full screen on the video playing, they are very annoying and I can't seem to figure out a solution. I've tried adjusting the acceleration settings on both Flash Player and the Chrome settings along with clearing browsing data, nothing seems to work. Everything is up to date and I've restarted my Mac and TV several times. I've searched all over the web but I cant seem to find an answer, please tell me there is a solutio

До этого была версия 10 или 11, видео находится на диске, запускается .exe файл, открывается программа, внутри картинки, текст и ссылки на видео, когда открываются ссылки, появляется черный экран, нету даже кнопок проигрывателя, в старой версии всё запускалось и работало, в новой ничего не получается, никаких настроек безопасности, ничего не меняли, только обновили Flash player.

I am running into the same problem, I click notify of updates, it downloads. at 50% begins installing. After reaching 54% it fails with no info as to the cause.I am running an early 2008 mac pro, OS X El Capitan version 10.11.6

I am currently running a Digital signage application with regions (screen broken up into sections & we utilize the flash players to load up when .swf are requested.  I know by default when you have a "empty flash player"  the default background is black.  What I want to do is customize or disable the background ( black) and have the player be transparent.  just like you would in a html doc (webpage).  Since our application is a digital signage app we are not utilizing the web so there isnt a HTML CONTAINER or option to be transparent.Is there away to go into any of the config files and disable the "background"  the result I am looking for is to have 2 overlapping flash players & have the bottom one play backgrounds...  and the top flash player be transparent (a floating window)  so if there is text or something loaded on the top player you can always see what is playing behind it.can this be done & how can I disable or make transparen

On my site SPKFans. Your Headquarters for Shopkins World. I worry about adding video content because I don't know if it will play on all devices. Youtube seems to work but I have tried a flash file and it can't be viewed on apple devices. Is there a workaround for this? Are there plans for flash to be able to work on apple devices.Please help and clarify.

I receive frequent notices to update my Flash Player.  So I go through the process of downloading, etc.  Then I receive a message saying that I already have a newer version on my computer.  I would really appreciate it if the nuisance message doesn't appear again until my current version is old enough to update.  Can anyone explain why this is happening?

I've had this happen once before. Last time I just deleted it but I'm afraid it's malware. I can't find the source dmg that's creating this. It looks legit but is there any reason Adobe updates should show up spontaneously on the desktop like this?

I have a brand new HP PC and have installed an Widows app for Nest Cam. When I open the screen to view my camera in full screen I get the Adobe logo in the middle of the screen that says get Adobe Flash Player. I have looked through the help pages but, it says that it is turned on and it is part of Microsoft Edge. Hello,I downloaded all versions of fp from the distibution web site (active-x, ppapi, npapi) to deploy them via gpo install. I do that for a long time and it was mostly running perfect.Now it seems there is a general problem installing the active x version on my windows 10 machines. The installation process is not finishing on all my machines. Hi I was trying to access video in hot star application but every time the message state install adobe flash player, once I pressed the installation it state you already have flash player installed with Windows 10 under Microsoft edge. I did applied all the settings which I can but still not able to see videos in hot star application. in case any one guide that is helpful.

Here is the problem. I just got a new Dell computer, put Firefox on it and then installed the Shockwave Player. Unfortunately it crashes on some web site's video. I have the same set up on an HP computer that I have used for the past few years and it runs just fine. Both the Dell and the HP are running Windows 10. I was looking at the test videos and it appears that the Shockwave Player is working fine for HTML5 video but not for non-HTML5 video on the Dell computer. Since everything appears to be the same on both computers I am puzzled as to why it won't work on the Dell computer. Incidentally, all video plays just fine on the Microsoft Edge browser on the Dell computer. So this confuses me even more. Is it a problem with the Dell Computer? Is it a problem with Firefox? Is it a problem with Shockwave Flash? Is it some combination of all three? Thank you in advance for any assistance you can offer.

I've tried 100 times to install the latest flash player, but it stops at 95% every time and never goes any farther. I've tried uninstalling, restarting, re-downloading the Flash Player, and repairing my disk permissions and NOTHING works! Because I uninstalled it, I now have NO flash player at all! I read the reports that stated that the version of 24.0.0.186 was the version with the security vulnerability.  I checked my Chromebook and it states that the version that I have is 24.0.0.186 and according to the Adobe website it should be 24.0.0.194.  I have Chrome on another computer and I was able to update it to the latest version but not on this Chromebook.  I have the latest version of Chrome--it just updated yesterday and I manually checked for updates.  It is showing up under plugins as the old version.  I cannot go to the Adobe website and download anything because it tells me that it is handled through the Chromebook.  I contacted Google customer support and they have no idea--they told me that I would have to contact Adobe about the issue since they handle the plugins.  I don't want to use something that has known security risks.  I have no idea what to do or how to fix this.  Should I just disable the Flash player?  I need

Hi,I work on a government project and our Citrix servers use Adobe Flash.  A requirement on the servers is to run HIPS, which is set to block any launching of files from folders with name TEMP.  I have changed the environment variables to point to other folders, but with Flash, it still requires to use that c:\windows\macromed\Temp folder for the install.  Why can't the Flash install just use the System Temp folder?  We have to go thru the process of requesting that HIPS be disabled to do our updates because of this problem.Thanks,George PiotrowskiCSRA[moderator: removed personal information per forums privacy policy]

The latest update for Flash Player caused by PC to run very slowly. It was that slow, it looked like it was dead. I had to going down to my local Currys and pay for a member of the KnowHow team, to diagnose the problem been the Flash Player latest update and then take this update off my computer. It's now running correctly without the latest Flash Player update. So it seems that it was not tested fully before been released. I am running Windows 8.1 and I have never had a single problem until this latest update for Flash Player.

Hi - it looks like the address for the Adobe Flash Background Updates CAB file moved from a publicly accessible URL to behind a login page.  A while ago I created a script and scheduled task that would run a WGET command, download the CAB file and then extract the CAB to an IIS directory and then allow the Flash player to self update using settings configured in the MMS.CFG file.  This worked great for us until last week when the URL changed.  Setting up this script and auto updates reduced my work overhead tremendously given the number of Flash vulnerabilities that need attention over the span of a year...Any chance the CAB can move back to a publicly accessible link?  I've been trying to get SCUP in the door, but entrenched processes around patching makes it a bit more difficult to get it in.
