Flash Player (read-only)

I've been trying to draw on sites that uses Adobe Flash, but whenever I use my Wacom pen to move around or draw, the cursor doesn't move at all. I can only move around with my mouse. It's the same thing with other Flash games, where I can't use the pen.

I have signed up for Adobe DistributionFlash Player download license and have not yet received any email response. Ihave also check my junk mail and did not see any email from Adobe. Please sendme link for us to download the latest version of flash player.

Hi all,    Could someone please provide an answer to my queries re flash player.  On my laptop under programs I had two entries of flash player, each had different numbers after their entry. Because my pc was sluggish I rang tech help and a tech guy took control and advised that flash player should be deleted because it is part of win 8.1 and I.E.11.and is therefore not needed. He then uninstalled just one of the entries (i'm pretty sure he was not aware of the other listing). This prompts the Q, do I still need to install the player critical updates windows update informs me of and secondly if the other listing is not required can I uninstall that,. for the record the listing is described as :- Adobe flash player 21NPAPI.   Incidentally flash player does work.

My just installed flash player works for the most part, but when I try to print the USA Today or LA Times crossword puzzle, It doesn't work. Any suggestions?

Running Fedora Linux 25 (64 bit) with included Firefox 50.0.2, and Flashplayer plug-in installed via Packet Manager from Adobe. A couple of days ago, the official Linux release was upgraded from 11.2.202.644 to 24.0.0.186. With release 11.x, Flashplayer plug-in was rock-solid for years. Worked just great.However, Flashplayer 24.0.0.186 (also tried 24.0.0.189 beta) always crashes on Google Play Music while loading the web page. Google doesn't seem to offer any HTML5 alternative for Firefox users (like on YouTube when ffmpeg library is detected by Firefox), so the service is unusable now. Easy to reproduce. Crashes always. Only downgrading to Flashplayer 11.2.202.644 helps.Already tried to clear local settings (~/.adobe, ~/.macromedia), cookies and stuff, but that won't change anything. Happens also on different hardware and with a fresh Firefox profile. Looks like a general problem on Linux.During the crashes, Firefox outputs messages like these on console:###!!! I am no longer able to reliably view video content on my computer with  Adobe Flash Player. I usually get the message "could not load plug-in".I have gone into my settings menu where it has not been disabled. I've even tried disabling it and then re-enabling it. I am told that it is integral to Chrome and automatically updated.. Any attempt to download it gets the message that it is already there. When I try to update it I am told that I already have the latest version.I tried to watch one of the affected videos on Foxfire with no luck so tried to download Flash. It did download and start to install, but get stuck at 90%. The same thing with Edge (which I don't like).I am running Windows 2010 on Windows 10 and use Google Chrome for preference.Allanaps. I chose the least wrong forum.

I have been trying to download Flash Player form their website and when reaching step 3 I encounter a requirement to sign up for a stocks option.  Which requires giving credit/debit card details.  There is no way of by-passing this step.  I think this amounts to shady practice.  Has anyone encountered this problem?

I am trying to do a training and it asks me to install adobe flash.  I do and then I try to take the training and it says Flash out-of-date.  I click on those words and it wants me to do it all over again.  I contacted apple support thinking it was a computer issue and they said it never did install.  Please help!  Urgent!

I have tried to upgrade my current FP version to the latest one (24.0.0.186), but I have problems during the installation.The installation fails at 50%, and no matter what I have tried so far (clean installation, removing temp files, cleaning registry, installing previous versions), the problem remains. I am looking for an uninstall MSi file to get rid of old Flash player versions from my work computers. The old/currently version installed is 23.0.0.181 and the OS is windows 7. I will be using Group policy to first get rid of the old versions then install the new version. I already have an updated MSi adobe flash version (24.0.0.186) for all windows browsers (IE, Chrome, Mozilla), I just need the UNINSTALL MSi file. Please help.

What is Adobe Flash Player Utility that I see in my Windows 8 Task Manager??I found a way to disable it by renaming a couple Flash files in the Windows folder. And so far I see no ill effects.Also, when I try to change the Updates in Global Settings it is grayed out.Anyone know why this is so? THis was grayed out befoe I renamed said files.James

Hello all,So I get a new HP Chromebook 14, and upon using Chrome for the first time, I quickly get the message:  "A plugin (Shockwave Flash) isn't responding."I have tried the widely recommended steps of going to chrome://pluggins to ensure that Adobe Flash player is enabled.  It is.  Nothing has changed.I'm not sure if this is relevant, but according to the Adobe Flash Player site, I have version 18,0,0,233 installed.  However, the chart on the very same page says that Adobe recommends having the latest version for ChromeOS, which is version 22.0.0.192.  When I try to update it to that version, I am told that Chrome is already pre-installed with the latest version , so there is nothing else to do.I'd appreciate any pointers.  Thanks!

Opera loads the Adobe Flash Player fine at home, but I get "Couldn't load plugin" on my office wireless.I checked "Opera://plugins" and get the proper version listed at home, but at the office I get ver. 99.999.999.999.Both show the proper version under the location of the file.Anyone know what's going on?

First let me mention I am a senior citizen and not technically inclined and also a bit slow. I have followed all of the prompts and get no where installing the update.We cannot view our emails because the prompt reads flash player is not updated. I have windows 10. I am unable to get flash player working. In setting everything is switched on but when I want to use it I get a message to switch Flash Player on!!!

Until about two weeks ago, I had no problems with viewing video from the WatchESPN service and ESPN3.  Then suddenly I began seeing the error message screen which I have attached.Please note that this error message appears only when I use Firefox.  If I switch to the Chrome browser, the videos work just fine.  Also, I have had no issue using it when I go to the computers at a nearby public library and use Firefox there.  Finally, WatchESPN seems to be the only video service affected.Since the screen does not allow me to file a report with Mozilla Firefox, I am using the forum to try to get an answer.For the record, the respective versions are Firefox 50.1.0 and Flash Player 24 NPAPI.

Hello, ladies and gentlemen.   The problem is, on the computer operating system Windows 7 x32 bit, updated video codecs, browser Opera the latest version installed Adobe flash player for chrome 24 latest version. The problem is that when I try to play a video in browser in the online view without unfolding it in full screen, the video works and shows and the sound is fine, if you expand to full screen video in browser whether is Opera or Mozila or Chrome, expanding the video to full screen and begins to speak in a voice the sound starts to distort a little and the video freezes if it was just music without words, some kind of distortion no sound, please tell me what could be the problem, we literally did everything still the problem remained. To check we took the IE browser and check information unfortunately the problem was not observed. I use Chrome Version: 55.0.2883.87 m ( 64- bit)  on windows 10 from windows 8. and the ( Shock Wave Player)  keeps crashing, and I play the same kind of MMorpg games . but it only happens on one game and that is League Of Angels. Could it be the game, or Chrome ?

Hi,I am getting very frustrated trying to get Adobe to agree to allow me to distribute Flash. I keep getting denied, because apparently, somebody else at my company - over 30,000 employees!  has it.  I don't know who has it, I have asked and asked and asked.  Whoever has it, they're not sharing.I have a bunch of systems on the SIPRnet.  And  tools DISA and DOD require us to use, for some weird reason require this security bugaboo plugin.  I used to be able to download the full installer, sometime in the past 2 months I lost that ability.  Is there some magic phrase I can use to get them to approve my request?  The inability to install Flash off the internet is starting to cause us business problems.  I keep getting a no, from a noreply adobe email address.Thanks.

Based on thread Adobe Forum thread #2251159, I'm using firefox-50.1.0 downloaded from mozilla.org instead of Fedora's built-in Firefox. The crashes have been reduced, but still occur. I need to configure a settings within the chrome flash player settings. It is a trusted site setting that I add in Global Security Settings. I need to be able to add this setting in an image for deployment across 1000+ devices. I tried to setup a FlashPlayerTrust in the chrome location "%APPDATA%\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Pepper Data\Shockwave Flash\WritableRoot\#Security\FlashPlayerTrust" That did not produce the result I was looking for. The only thing I could find out on the issue is Flash stores this trusted location information in the settings.sol file. In can copy this file to the right chrome profiles in the correct windows appdata. I need a way to add a trusted location in via policy or some form of administration. What I have found on flash player administration with the use of mms.cfg has not been helpful at all. If there is a setting I can add into mms.cfg I do not understand what it is. I just need this app to be able to load flash content from a mapped network
