To whom it may concern, I have installed Flash and exactly after 28 days, I experience a significant slow down. The following versions have all been tested within IE11, and the same error occurs consistently:Flash 18.0.0.232Flash 18.0.0.241Flash 18.0.0.343Flash 21.0.0.213This is observed within Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 7. If one instance of IE exhibits the problem, and you open another, the slow up will again appear after 28 days. This has been 100% consistent, and the only way to recover is to sort and start a new instance of IE. It makes me think this is a deliberate feature and perhaps I don't have the required runtime licence to operate??In terms of installation, the ocx was used and not the Flash Installer - would this make a difference?I would appreciate any help/info on this issue as I have been testing / retesting for a very long time. The timeline of 28 days is a challenge!

Operating system version: OS X El Capitan, 10.11.5Web browser and version: Firefox 49.0.2, Safari 9.1.1, Chrome 54.0.2840.98 (64-bit)Flash Player version: 23Explain your problem in step-by-step detail if possibleI download the flash player from Adobe website. I mount the .dmg file and open it in finder. I double click the installer within the .dmg file. It asks if I really want to run this software, I choose "open".After this, nothing happens, I've even waited hours just to be sure.I've verified that the installer is running in the Activity Monitor, under the name "Install Adobe Flash Player".I've tried to take the following (suggested on the internet) measures:1. Reboot system and try again.2. Closed all other applications.3. Verified I have a normal fully working internet connection.4. Verified I have lots of disk space.5. Verified that my /etc/hosts is not blocking anything. If you get error messages, please quote them exactly, or provide a screenshotI do not get any error messages,
Since updating to the newest Flash Player, videos will not start. This issue is the same on multiple websites and using multiple browsers. I am using Windows 10. I have no idea what has changed since the update as this wasn't a problem before. I would appreciate any help. I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling Flash Player but this has had no effect.
Considering there have been some fake Flash packages distributed and possibly downloaded by users. It would be excellent if Adobe provided checksums for their packages. There must be a way to do this. When I attempt to install a package I downloaded from Adobe I even get a warning. “Install Adobe Flash Player” is an application downloaded from the Internet. Are you sure you want to open it?
10.6 mac flash not working
Hi,I have been trying to install the Adobe Flash Player on my Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit laptop. I navigate to the download page and select the appropriate version (v23.0.0.162). It starts downloading the file and the install begins. It prompts me to allow to install. I click "Yes" and it continues. Before the install gets started good, I close all of my browsers and disable my virus software (Norton v22.7.1.32). The install seems to work. A browser opens and shows me other products that I may want. But, when I go to verify if the install was successful (Flash Player Help) and click the "Check Now" button, it states it was not installed and points me back to the Downloads page. I have tried to install and then reboot my laptop, but it still does not help. I have even tried to install an earlier version of Flash Player and it still does not work. Any help to correct this issue is much appreciated!!Thanks,Ray
hi,we are developing a virtual camera as a directshow source filter. The Vcam works well with flashplayer in google chrome. But the flash player in firefox repeatedly instantiate the vcam and throws the error with the debug version of flash.RangeError: Error #2006: The supplied index is out of bounds. at flash.media::Video/ctor().No idea of what goes wrong. I have installed the latested version of flash (23.0.0.205).Please give me some idea on what is wrong.Thankyou.
We have been getting the following error: "The instruction at 0x00007FFB251600E8 referenced memory at 0x00007FFB251600E8. The memory could not be written. Click on ok to terminate." This happens every time we launch IE with Windows 10. It generally happens every time there is a Adobe Security Update. We have tried deleting the old macromed folder thinking it was an issue with the Windows 7 version since we upgraded to Windows 10. We also disabled the Adobe Security update service and we still received the updates which caused the error. Please advise we have over 400 computer in our company and it seems that everyone is getting that issue and it locks them up and cant go to any websites. The work around is uninstalling the latest Adobe Security Update. It fixes it for a while.
I used to use the the distribution link below to access the msi distribution of flash player, but now it takes me to a webpage that asks if I am an individual user or would like to get a redistribution license. I am currently licensed and need to push out the latest patch. Is there a new link? http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.htmlI should not have to post this in a forum, but there are no other support option for Flash Player apparently.

Hello, please i am using Mozilla Firefox with Adobe Flash Player. I have actually been using flash player for a while now until recently i started seeing the outdated error. This error usually comes up whenever i access some certain pages on my WordPress Blog. Additionally, it also displays same issue when accessing some movie downloading sites like FZMovies and a few others.Of course, i have tried using the update option but it doesn't seem to work. Please, how do i fix this?
I've never had this problem before with adobe flash player. On some websites I'll get just the audio part + the buttons and interface (not on all though) but not video.I don't have any problems with the computer itself, the browser or any other conflicting software. I've used the same setup for years...It's a fresh windows 10 install so I don't know what the deal is. I'm using firefox in case someone is wondering. Other than adblock I don't have any other addons or plugins except for the standard ones.Antivirus is avast. This is an example of a website not working.Wheels Up, Sikorsky, S-97, Raider, Lockheed | DodBuzz
Many of us I.T. types for one reason or another have choosenNOT to use McAfee in place of other (IMO better) products. The McAfee scan product that you have bundled inwith your flash player updates install and leave files that interfere with the automatic updates forKaspersky. After the Flash Product installes, I am then stuck visiting that machine in person running a special McAfee uninstall utility to remove McAfee even though it does NOT show up in the add/remove programs area of the control panel. The flash updates do allow you to choose if you want McAfee installed, but unfortionatly, the default is to have that option checked. For most unsuspecting corporate users, they don't see, care, or understand the impact of leaving that check box checked. Please stop including that as part of the install. For us corporate types trying to keep hundreds of computers working smoothly, we certainly don't need the automated headaches that McAfee brings with.R
Windows 7, Firefox 49.0.2, no idea what current version of Flash (prob 22??) but I'm trying to update to 23.Steps:- I download flashplayer23_xa_install.exe from https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer -- I have unchecked the 'get the 2 other things' boxes because how about no.- I open the folder where flashplayer23_xa_install.exe is, double-click it.- I get a grey box:and nothing happens.- When I get bored of looking at the grey box that does nothing, I close it by clicking the X.- flashplayer23_xa_install.exe disappears out of the folder it was in, and Internet Explorer opens and tries to load the get.adobe page linked above, but nothing loads. I close IE.- Repeat the above. Utilize some choice words.Pausing Kaspersky does not alter anything -- still a grey box, still does nothing, still tries to open IE.I am crying that the flashplayer/distribution3 page is gone, because I have NEVER been able to successfully update Flash using the .exe from the get.adobe page. How can this be fixed?
I had previously applied to distribute Flash EXE/MSI internally at our company and used to goto a simple landing page. This was recently shut down, and I've applied twice to the new page to distribute, but have had no reply and can't update Flash now! Any ideas how I find out where to go now to get the installer?
By their own device wrote:Given the new Flash Player enterprise distribution licensing requirement that took effect on 12/1/2015, can a software vendor use a single enterprise license to distribute Flash Player to its customers' client machines that don't have internet access? The question was answered with a redirect to a link to another search engine for adobe issues, that's not much of an "answer"... It's worse when I go visit that link provided and the search results come back to this same post.. that's not cool.To answer your question is "Yes", you can request to distribute software to systems that don't have internet access (just specify that you want to distribute to an Intranet via SMS, scripting, or other methods). In regards to the distribution license, good luck getting an account... I had a license about a year and a half ago, but it expired (only lasts a year) and I tried to sign-up again to distribute to my organization, but never got a reponse. I tried other email account
Can you help with this? It's been over a week.
I am trying to sign in to Adobe for Flashplayer download, and it does not recognise my password even though I only changed it a few days ago, I don't know whether it is because I have a different email address than i had some years ago. That email address no longer receives. However I seemed to be able to change my password, but now can't sign in, where do I go from here?
I registered a long while ago, but I have not yet received an email for the .MSI. I need the flash .msi for yet another adobe zero day, but I apparently cannot get it without the link.I have a colleague who did get the .msi, and I am wondering if I can deploy his instead? Do I have to be concerned about over deployment since he indicated a lesser number when filling out the form, of the amount of people he would be deploying to? And why do we have to go through all of this just to get this .msi??
Hello,I work in a little french administration.I beg your pardon for my bad english...We didn't have now an access to msi for flash that we deploy on our computers via GPO.I register our administration via "Adobe Distribution Licence agreement" the 18 of October and I may have an answer the 21 of october. No answer, nothing. This register concern Flash, Adobe reader, shockWave, ...I have to urgently deploy the latest version of Flash.I like to do the right things therefore : H E L P M E ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !! ! !! ! ! !! ! ! ! !! ! ! ! ! !!Thanks for advancePhilippe de LA RUFFIEP.S. : I don't have too access to forum about "dowload and install"
I'm the primary analyst and distributor for Adobe Flash in our corporation and having multiple issues with Adobe Flash.1. Getting the Application Initialization Error when trying to reinstall Adobe after a monthly security update.I've tried all the forums and fixes - same issue2. For the Windows 10 Adobe Flash - I understand that Adobe Flash is Integrated within IE - but we are seeing issues where it shows as an Add-on within IE and Shockwave is enabled but the workstation still doesn't recognize Adobe Flash and will not play the video.I referenced: Flash Player Issues | Windows 10 | Internet Explorer - multiple times - does not resolve the issue.I tested FlashPlayer and it says 'not installed' even though it shows as an ADD-ON3. How do you get the Flash Player plugin to update within Chrome?Flash Player with Google Chrome - referenced this and there's been no change4. What's the best way to get the latest Security update for Adobe Flash to a Windows
I've heard that from September 2015 discontinued support for Flash Player on some browsers. Do you have some information about it? How it will support Flash banners?
