is there a free flash player that will work on linux so my 7 year old can play animal jam on their desk top? <deleted email address>

Hello, I have been a mac and safari user for a long time and I have never really had a large issue with flash before this past week.  I recently updated my Flash Player plugin to the latest version, and since then, I have noticed flash eating up 100% of my CPU sometimes when I open tabs from various places around the web.  It seems to come and go at random depending on what websites I visit, and the websites that trigger the overload seem to change every day.  Below is a list of all of the things that I have tried having spent 2 hours on the phone with Apple Support.  I have also included the details of my system.  Any help for this issue would be appreciated.Items Tried with Apple SupportRestart ComputerClear CacheClear junk filesCleared browser history, data, and cookiesForce quit and restart SafariUninstall and reinstall flash playerSystem Details15" Macbook Pro w/ Retina Display (mid-2014)OS X 10.11.5Safari 9.1.1Flash 21.0.0.242

Many posts on the web contain complains about the Green video screen with working audio) on Adobe Flash player. The problem comes and goes. And what really bothers me is that sometimes I have no clue why it doesn't work for some videos. Also there are times I can not get to the flash menu to disable the hardware acceleration. I would think that Adobe Flash would and should automatically disable hardware acceleration if the hardware can not handle it, because Firefox does not get a green video window.I don't know if .....1) Adobe updates is causing the problem2) or performing a IE Reset is turning on hardware acceleration by default.3) Or Norton Security is causing it.The green video window affects most videos on Facebook and even some youtube videos but not all.And I don't know if it is HTML5 or Flash related, but never have a problem with Netflix's Silverlight.This is driving me bananas.Please help.Important! - After disabling Norton's Security's Smart Firewall and Auto-Protect it sta

Every single website I go on that uses any type of flash content gets the error "shockwave flash not responding" especially on chrome which is my main browser, however no other browser I have tried, IE and firefox, has any working flash content either. I have tried every single possible answer I can google for the past 5 hours. Everything from simple to advanced on several websites, I've extensively looked for ways to fix this. But here I am, my last resort is the adobe forums. There's such a long list I don't even know where to begin. I have tried the obvious uninstalling and reinstalling deleting all flash files/folders from my system including literally typing "flash" into the search function on my PC and just wiped all that shit out. Even if it had certain privileges that my user didn't have. Completely dismantled google chrome's settings as well. Checking for updates, hardware acceleration, and completely resetting chrome as well. I don't even know where to start, perhaps I should

So everything has been hunky dory until today when flash updated to the latest version, now any website that uses flash will not work the page hangs and constant flash plugin script crash messages pop on screen, nothing is then clickable and I have to use task manager to close the browser.I'm using Windows 7 64bit.My main browser if firefox NPAPI, I Did a few checks and PPAPI and Active X seem to be unaffected.I've uninstalled flash, cleared out setting in both flash control panel and firefox, restarted machine and reinstalled but still the problem persists.

Shockwave plug in crashes no matter what i have done that they say to do . Farmtown it says plug in will not load same on my escapefan games everything i try to open takes forever or crashes.What can I do to stop this issue?[ Mod: moved to Flash Player forum ]

I am trying to update my Flash Player and it seems to work fine until I run the .dmg file, at which point I get the Flash Player icon in my menu bar that is jumping up and down but nothing else happens.  I've uninstalled the old version of Flash Player already so I could have a clean install, but that doesn't help.  I'm running OS X 10.11.4 and Safari.

As good as the adobe products are, how come you have to bundle in the Macafee and the intel in the installer? I mean all of Adobe products do NOT need other products added to them... They stand on their own.

For the last 4-5 days, I have been unable to stream on my desktop on Chrome/Firefox at SportsMania or other streaming sites. Youtube etc work fine but these sites the stream window itself doesn't appear. Clicking on any of the stream links does nothing. I have updated Chrome, Flash to it's latest versions, have disabled hardware acceleration, have enabled Javascript, have deleted cache, cookies, history, everything, disabled all Chrome extensions, but nothing works. This has been happening on my Laptop as wellHave attached a screenshot. The links are on the left, there should be a stream window inPlease please helpWhat I've also found is that I have the same problem on my laptop at home, so could it be an ISP issue? Although it works perfectly fine in an app on my phone. I'm perplexed. Please help

I have problems with Firefox or my computer needing to be restarted in order to be able to play flash videos. My operating system is Windows 10 and my Fiefox version is 46.0.1 and my flash player version is 21.0.0.242. It doesn't happen all the time just some times. I even have the settings in my browser to allow flash to run all the time cause it didn't work with the new security settings turned on. Any way to fix this issue would be helpful and better than having to restart the browser or the computer.

My game on Facebook asked for update.   Unfortunately the only update offered was (no doubt is) corrupt.   It spread your logo over the screen, grabbing everything and stopping action except for a small notice advising me of Adobe's inabilities.   Had a terrible time trying to uninstall this, and after many attempts had to resort to System Restore.I would rather give up Games than have this happen again.  Please advise  how I can fully trust your program.  Thank you.

adobe flash player 22 ppapi was automatically installed May16/16.. Vista..what a disaster, now nothing works and I cannot uninstall?help!

I want to get an idea of what sites are using Flash Player when I go to them.  Is there some way to find out how much flash is being used on a given machine.  I am using IE 11 on Win 10. I know if I turn on Active X filtering and then click allow that I can get a list of websites in the registry but not all of those would be Flash.  I would just like to get an idea of what kind of impact it would be if I just turned Flash off altogether.  If there is a way to track it is there a way to create a whitelist?

It's a recurring issue with Flash Player. Last update (what -- two weeks ago?) I went through the same thing: I could not get Flash to install using the standard, user-friendly method. I had to download a standalone installer in order to get it to work.http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer simply begins an endless round of download/install/installation error. Very frustrating and seemingly careless programming, almost as if Adobe wants Flash to die. And personally, with all the vulnerabilities and resulting case-by-case opt-in requirements, Flash is becoming less and less desirable.

Hi,Can anyone help me please.My Shockwave player plugin on the latest version of Firefox freezes from time to time when accessing some web pages and when i select to continue instead of stopping the plugin it then accesses my webcams turning on the lights on them and prevents me from using my cams in any chat software until i reboot he computer.I have two webcams and Shockwave player is turning both cams on after it freezes and i try it to wait.Anyone have any idea's why Shockwave player as started to access my cams without my permission and preventing me from using them until i reboot as other programs stay they can't access them as they already in use or can not be found.Regards.Paul.[ Mod: moved to Flash Player forum ]

I have Adobe Flash Player 21 installed and it works fine for web content.  It does not work with .flv videos I have on my hard drive.  When I try to set the default program for .flv suffix, Adobe flash player is not listed.

When i check the Adobe Flash Player Distribution web page it list old versions of the player (Flash Player 21.0.0.213 (Win & Mac PPAPI); 21.0.0.226 (Mac NPAPI)) And not the latests witch is .242 i think. But if i download the msi files they are made 10.05.2016 witch leads me to think the files are correcvt but the web page is showing the wrong text. Why? I have windows 10 OS, play games with Chrome, when I go to full screen, the picture flutters, just started doing this recently, thank you
