Flash Player (read-only)

Hello,I a using Windows 7, Explorer 11.0.9600.17633 and my flash player version is 15.0.0.152.Every couple of weeks in the middle of let's say working on a word docment for school my computer becomes very slow (the cpu goes up) and I basically have to turn off my computer to make it work again. When it goes back up, of course then I see the flash player pop-up that was the reason the computer had crashed. This cycle goes on and on and I'm tired of it. I used to update the flash player regularly but that did not help either. I am watching youtube or other clips occassionally, so I did not want to remove the flash player all together. In my preferences and definitions I marked "never check for updates" but that does not seem to mean anything. Also, I tried opening the scheduled tasks to remove checking updates by adobe, but did not locate such task.Is there any way to disable the pop ups? Or is my only option to remove this program completely?

I'm running Windows Server 2012 and need Adobe Shockwave Flash Object ver 19.0.0.185 or higher. The system has Microsoft Windows Third Party Application Component Shockwave Flash Object installed. When I test the web page on my desktop it uses Adobe Shockwave Flash Object ver. 19. If I disable the Adobe Shockwave the web will not play video.

Hi there,In an enterprise environment we have just stared to use SCCM to install Adobe Flash - and prevent it auto updating.Is their means either via email or other that we can be advised that a new release of Flash is coming out.Probably missing something very basic somewhere! withthanksGaz

Sorry not sure where to put this;At first my video and sound were real choppy until I turned up the storage to unlimited. Now the sound is almost normal, but the video is way way behind and choppy. It is lagging so bad and I'm not sure why. I shut off the Hardware acceleration like instructions said but it made no difference. This is one of the vids that the voice no where near matches the speaker talking Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin Is Ready For Space Race 2.0. The sound will be done long before the video is over. Can someone please tell me what it is I have done wrong. No this has not always been a problem at all. Just here recently it is getting worse and worse. Nothing I seem to try is fixing this problem. I don't know what to do. Everytime I open an internet window this message comes up that my adobe is not working correctly. I even tried to reinstall it.

I follow the instruction from Unsandbox LocalConnections in Chrome and everything works well on Mac, but flashfileattributes doesn't have a Linux version in the Chat.zip, we have a build system on Linux and we need to add the "brokerLocalConnection" attribute to the index.swf after it's compiled, so how should I do? Please help!

I am told by AFP that I have the latest upgrade yet I cannot access it nor will it open any docs. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the same and older versions, I have contacted adobe and they were of no help.can anybody help me please?

have downloaded flashplayer.  Going through the process of installing.  Get to the 3rd step and I am required to purchase something. Don't want to purchase anything. No button to continue.  Please help.  Doug

Well, I have done this instillation a bunch of times now.  It tells me it is installed.  When I check it with an uninstall program, it is there.  BUT, when I try to use it for Hulu, it keeps telling me that it isn't installed and wants to do an install (which I had done several times.)  I am running Windows 7 Home Premium on an AMD dual core system.  I have tried every way I can think of to get it to work, and I have come up blank.  Back when Adobe was having security problems last month, I uninstalled all the Adobe free products.  Now, I have done the install of the Flash Player a bunch of times (including using the Adobe uninstaller, once between times.)  I am using Firefox, but I also attempted to do it in Internet Explorer 11 as well.  Nothing has worked.  No Adobe Flash Player shows in the ad ins, either.  STUCK!

Flash Player keeps returning the message Cannot Connect when trying to view "movies" - in this case a broadcast of a lecture - and the screen space remains blank. On the Forum tips section here the space for the Adobe player is grey, with the page and the sad face. I have the latest version, and it is enabled. Any suggestions?I have no idea if I am supposed to put this question here as well, or this is supposed to be an answer. I have found this experience to be as frustrating as trying to get the player to work!I am in China, but I am running a VPN, which is giving me access to all things Google, and Facebook Messenger. My OS is Windows 7 Home Premium. I us Firefox as my browser. I downloaded the Flash player for Firefox and I ran the .exe file. But it doesn't do anything> I having the same problem with the Shockwave. I am surprise that both players won't install.

I am not able to get audio links in my Norton ebook to work.  I am using the most up-to-date Firefox browser (though I have tried IE as well).  I have also ensured that Flash is up-to-date.  I do not have Real player installed on my computer and have also been thought the complete troubleshooter.  My OS is Windows 7 Enterprise.  Any thoughts?

I am unable to use adobe flash player with Windows Edge.  I have gone through the steps of checking to see if "use adobe flash player" is on multiple times and it always has been.  I do not need to install it, it says it is integrated with Windows 10.  Help!  Need the flash player for online school courses.

I'm having a bit of a problem regarding the way Flash handles the update process and I was hoping you can help me.So i'm working for a company which deploys Flash updates through Microsoft SCUP.And, because of this, we want to disable flash update notifications for the end-user. I've managed to do this via GPO (as you can see in the next screenshot).BUT, my problem is how can I disable\remove\gray-out the Change Update Settings button. I am searching online for this for a time now and I don't seem to find a solution.I know it has something to do with Windows UAC, because in the Adobe Flash version 18 administrator guide I found the next statement: If you want to enforce standardized update settings for all users, you can use the mms.cfg options discussed in this section. Also, ensure that those users who should not be allowed to change these settings are configured as standard users and do not have admin rights. Mozilla 41.0 was crashing a whole lot last 2 days, even with only 2 tabs open, closing the flash player helped very temporarily.  I checked & there was a flash update, so I updated but it didn't go smoothly.At https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html, it shows the flash as updated.  Within Mozilla, https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/ shows that I need an update from Version 18. At about:addons, it shows both 18 & 19 running with both "always activate".  I manually de-activated 18 but when Firefox restarted it shows that both flash versions are still "always activate".  Suggestions?Thanks,

Hello,I have a Windows 8 and am using Google Chrome. I am under the impression that adobe flash is automatically installed on chrome, you just have to go to plug ins and enable flash. Well, there is nothing on my computer for flash under plug ins. I did attempt to install adobe flash, but the site adobe site informed me that it is downloaded, just not enabled. Now, how can I enable it if it is not showing under plug ins?
