I've uninstalled illustrator, deleted and remade the libraries folder, and signed out and into my Adobe account. Closing and reopening illustrator is the only fix for a 1 time use of an asset from the library. This is a ridiculous process I've been repeating for a month.
You know how you can take a clip in premiere (on the timeline) and right click it and say speed and choose whatever number you want? I wish I could do that in after effects and not this time remap nonsense. I dont want to do any math I just want to type in a percentage number just like how I do it in premiere. Is there some kind of 3rd party plugin that can help me? I have slo mo footage and I tried right clicking and choosing time stretch. But when I typed in stretch factor 350, I dont think it sped up the clip. I think it stretched it LONGER to 350% slower. This tool doesnt operate like premiere. Looking for one where I can type in 350% on a slow mo clip and it speeds it up 350%.
Hello Adobe Team, I’d like to suggest a feature that I believe would be extremely helpful for photographers who use Adobe Lightroom, especially those working with multiple cameras from different brands. In Adobe Premiere Pro, there's an amazing Color Match tool that allows users to match the color profile of one scene to another, even if they were captured with different cameras. This functionality has been very useful for videographers, and I really miss something similar in Lightroom. While Lightroom does offer Color Grading tools, they are still quite limited in this regard. It would be incredibly helpful to have a Color Match function—just like in Premiere—that lets us copy the color profile of one image and apply it to others as a reference. This would greatly benefit photographers who work with multiple cameras in the same session and need consistent colors across all photos. Such a feature would save a lot of time and significantly improve consistency during editing, especially in workflows like weddings, events, and editorial shoots. Thank you for considering this request, and congratulations on the amazing work with Adobe’s software! Best regards,Leonardo CarvalhoPhotographer and Adobe user
Hi Adobe team,I'd like to request a simple, global option in Premiere Pro to completely disable all automatic audio tagging and effects applied by the Essential Sound panel or sequence templates.Currently, when I import or drop audio clips into a sequence, Premiere often auto-assigns them as Dialogue or Music and applies compression, auto-ducking, or other effects without warning. Even when I manually clear audio types and remove applied effects, this behavior can return with new clips or tracks — especially when using sequence presets or re-opening projects. This creates unnecessary confusion and extra cleanup work.Feature request:A global preference toggle (e.g. under Preferences > Audio) to turn off all automatic audio tagging and default Essential Sound effects — so Premiere treats imported audio as raw, untouched clips unless I manually assign them.Or at least a warning/prompt when Essential Sound is about to apply processing to a clip. This would save a lot of hassle for users who prefer full manual control of their audio and want a clean editing environment. Thanks!
Hello,For anyone out there who is using the multi-camera editing, is there a way to have the color label show up in individual cuts for the Multi-Camera sequence? I added an image below to show one of my recent sequences. The bottom part of the image shows mostly green, and that is the Multi-Camera Sequence. I did all of that color labeling. In this case, the video was only around 10 minutes. The real benefit would be in longer videos.I'm using shortcut keys for the labels, and so that is quicker. But, it would nice for this to be automated. One thing I figured out is that I can use unsharp mask on a video, and it will show red, as if needing to render. This helps identifying the cuts, and I can go in and color those for the final run. But, automatic color labels would be ideal. Thanks, Steve
As I look over images in large grid mode, I'd love to be able to tap/slide left side to assign star ratings or flags. This will speed up my efforts to separate images with potential from those I'll delete. Now I need to go through one at a time and I'll often star or flag something only to discover a better candidate farther down the process. Then I go back and remove the star/flag. Especially when shooting 20 frames/second, there are so many to weed through.
Please Adobe, add a basic 3d paint ( on imported mesh) . I am so tired of Painter an so much prefer Designer node style. Couldn't figure out a thing in Painter layers just 3 days after in my own files . All I need is a projection painting mode to paint masks on 3d objects . It's so much a pain to export sbsars which are neer works properly in Painter. Just let us Designer folks do all the job in Designer .
When having several graphs eligible for publication as SBSAR into a same package, it is currently not convenient to select which one will be published. We have to make sure each graph is disabled for publication and only the right one is enabled. To make selection of the published graph more convenient, I'd suggest the following:In the dialog shown when publishing a graph (named "Substance 3D asset publish options"), add a checkbox in front of each exposed graph, only the graphs checked will go into the sbsar.By default, checkboxes will be checked for graphs having publication enabled in their properties. Unchecking the checkbox into the publishing dialog will not change this property, the effect would only be local for this publication.Add butons to check/uncheck all graphs in this dialog box.
When editing text, you can adjust the "horizontal scale" and "vertical scale" separately (like in Photoshop).I'd like to have items for horizontal scale and vertical scale in the properties panel when editing text.Currently, you can change it by transforming the layer, but I often find this specification inconvenient. For example, if you want to make the first line of a two-line caption elongated, you'll need to separate layers for each line because the aspect ratio will change for each layer if you transform the layer. The attached image is the text panel in Photoshop, but I think it would be more convenient if the items in the yellow frame were there.
I remove the background in my portrait photos a lot. I use Lightroom CC for the initial edits, but I have to take it to Photoshop to remove the background properly. For initial review pics to be sent to my client, I prefer a simple workflow that I can accomplish in Lightroom. [Even Canva has a 1-click background remover (which I use many times when Photoshop can be cumbersome in my workflow)]. When pressed for time, I use the "mask" feature to select the background and decrease exposure or change color. But this impacts the edges of my subject. Removing the background cleanly and adding a simple background would be great from inside Lightroom. This will help me accelerate my workflow tremendously! Do you have any tips or workarounds?
Can we change the camera view? My iPone 11 has a 0.5 wide angle view, this would be useful to use inside the Aero app. Thanks Paul Costello
TLDR: A future Camera Raw update is needed to support the Flexible Color profile, specifically for the Nikon Zf. Firmware 2.0 for the Nikon Zf, released last month, finally enabled Flexible Color – a feature/"profile" that has been available on the Z6III for over a year now. See screenshots on the specific .dcp file I'm referring to. Z6III RAW files can access the Flexible Color profile in LrC/LR, enabling one to actually "use" the 'recipe'/flexible look as a starting point when editing RAWs. The Zf does not support this profile, and only an update to LrC/LR/Camera Raw, specifically to enable this setting. Please refer to this previous post I created in the LrC forums for more info, and the screenshots below on the Z6III having Flexible Color (and not the Zf). https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic-ideas/p-update-needed-for-nikon-zf-flexible-color-profile-camera-matching-in-lightroom/idc-p/15292830#M24116
This is feedback for Adobe, since it offers no direct contact point, other than a less-than-useful chatbot.I started with PS4, then upgraded to PS5 and PS7. PS7 has been my workhorse for about 20 years, used for photography, artwork, drafting, book figures, and all the patent drawings in 9 granted U.S. patents, starting with 9,401,134 (2016). The only thing I would add to it would be output formats for CNC routers and laser cutters, and versions for current computers. Since my work is proprietary, I want nothing to do with the Cloud. Currently, I've moved my work from a Dell 755 to a 2023 Apple M2 Mac mini, using CrossOver. PS7 runs a bit slow on it, and misses a few tricks, like the right click on the image margin to get "image size". For my current book illustrations I primarily use paths, ruler, guides, fill and line tools, text inserts, level and color balance adjustments, CNTL-T tools to adjust for phone camera misalignment, blur and sharpen tools, image size and rotation, sometime clone stamp to get rid of dust marks, and I forget what else. I keep three copies for my book illustrations: the original camera image; the corrected, cropped & unsized image in PSD; and insert a flattened, reduced-size JPG image into the chapter text. I tend to use JPGs and PNGs for a WordPress site online. I might be more interested in a $9.99 subscription if it came with the choice of a classic PS7 GUI. I ran the current trial PS and found the GUI unfamiliar. It takes time to learn a new GUI, and my life hasn't got so much left. I also think that Adobe is missing a bet in not selling an inexpensive stand-alone package for current computers, based on PS7, geared towards basic photo edits, accurate drawing tools and CNC-compatible output files.
Add here https://helpx.adobe.com/substance-3d-painter/getting-started/system-requirements.html list of dependencies on third party libraries, and also when starting, check the installed libraries and if they are not there, display a list, and do not silently terminate the programWhy do I have to run the program from the terminal several times when it does not find the libraries installed on the system, as well as in Steam and copy them to the program folder so that it finally finds them?I mean/usr/lib/libbrotlidec.so.1.local/share/Steam/ubuntu12_64/steam-runtime-sniper/var/tmp-1EDZ32/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libbrotlidec.so.1/usr/lib/libbrotlicommon.so.1.local/share/Steam/ubuntu12_64/steam-runtime-sniper/var/tmp-1EDZ32/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libbrotlicommon.so.1
Once I select a prominent color I'd like to see where/what colors/areas are selected...visually as in a mask. If already possible, please explain how. If not, suggest you add a feature to click to yiled a corresponding mask to see areas affected and to save/apply mask to a layer adjustment of choice. Or perhaps show such areas in gray as done elsewhere in Ps....but that is marginally usewful.
I am a photographer who uses Lightroom collaborative proofing. I want clients to be able to make image selections without having to sign up for their own Adobe ID. Although it is free most people don't want to have to sign up with another username and password to a website that they feel they are likely to never use. The workaround that I've been using is supplying my clients with an email and password for an additional 'free' Adobe account that I have setup however this only allows 5 people to use the credentials before it requires 2 factor authentication (making this system unusable). If proofing selections were able to be made by 'anyone with the link' it would make the system much more usable to so many more people.
It would be incredibly helpful to have the “Auto” edit function available within individual masks in Lightroom. Right now, I can apply “Auto” adjustments to the full image, but not to a selected mask such as the background, subject, or sky. This feature would improve editing speed and precision. For example, if I isolate the background, I may want to apply a quick auto adjustment to balance it with the subject. Doing this manually takes more time and can lead to inconsistent results across a batch of images. Allowing Lightroom to analyze and apply intelligent adjustments within the boundaries of a selected mask would make the editing process more efficient. It would also support a more consistent and streamlined workflow, especially when working on large sets of images with varying lighting or composition. This feature already exists for the full image, so adapting it to work within masks feels like a natural next step. Thank you for considering this suggestion.
