I came to notice that there is no shortcut to delete images using a keyboard in Lightroom mobile. Using Lightroom with the Magic Keyboard on the iPad Pro feels great, and the iPad more and more is being used with a keyboard, it feels tedious having to do so many taps/clicks to delete files in Lightroom. If Lightroom already has some keyboard shortcuts (arrow navigation, grid view, esc, etc) for other actions, why not a delete keyboard shortcut? I feel like adding more keyboard shortcuts can make the experience of using the app smoother.
There was a request that became a feature to be able to use a layer group as the base of a clipping group, (http://feedback.photoshop.com/photosh... ) but I was facing the opposite need yesterday: be able to group layers that are being clipped in a clipping mask. My goal was to mask several clipped layers, and organize my layers panel; there is no way to group layers that are part of a clipping mask. (The add layer group icon is not greyed out, but dragging the layers to the group removes them from the clipping mask)
There’s a feature you should consider incorporating into all your software. It’s a functionality available in M@crosoft @xcel: when you want to insert a photo into a cell, you can choose either to upload from your PC or select "My Phone Device." A QR code appears for you to scan, allowing you to upload photos or videos directly from your phone without needing a wire or Bluetooth connection. It works seamlessly in just seconds.
Please implement a shortcut that lifts Video Up and Audio Down Simultaneously. [text edited by mod]
Hi. Adobe has many older versions of Photoshop. Could it consider releasing an older version, like Photoshop CS4 or CS3, with a 5% royalty fee? This could be a win-win for both Adobe and aspiring artists who cannot afford the current $58 per month subscription. The royalty payments would provide revenue for Adobe, while making Photoshop more accessible to artists in low-income countries. Many aspiring artists living in low-income countries face significant barriers due to the high cost of software like Photoshop. Making older versions affordable could empower their creativity and support their growth. I know my suggestion is unlikely to happen, so I guess poor aspiring artists should find new aspirations. Thanks
I would love an AI based feature which analyzed an image and took in rule of thirds / golden ratio and created a board of 6 to 9 crop options for an image. I often find myself moving the crop around a lot to figure out where exactly I would like to crop it. What I miss with this is being able to side by side compair a few options. I would love to have it leverage AI to make several suggestions where I could pick my favorites, compare them and choose one. I would probably still tweak it a bit after words, but would love to have a board of options automatically to speed up my process.
Dear Photoshop Team (as well as the Illustrator and Edge Tools Team): The format improves upon .jpeg and .png use cases today while at the same time providing 2x-3x smaller file sizes at the same, comparable quality settings. According to the image specificaitons, "WebP supports lossless transparency (also known as alpha channel) with just 22% additional bytes. Transparency is also supported with lossy compression and typically provides 3x smaller file sizes compared to PNG when lossy compression is acceptable for the red/green/blue color channels" (https://developers.google.com/speed/w...). Being able to used on the latest Android devices an the latest versions of Chrome and Opera (I know they both use Blink, and thus it isn't a surprise that both support it already), according to caniuse.com, it is sort of reasonable to consider I think.
The "Smoothing Option for Lasso Tool" would enhance the user experience by reducing jagged edges and creating more precise selections when using the Lasso tool in Photoshop. This feature would allow users to define a smoothing level, which interpolates the path of their freehand selections to create a cleaner, more refined outline.
Hello,I have noticed a strange behaviour in Photoshop. It is possible to create a clipping mask from a Layer to a FOLDER. BUT (strangely), it is IMPOSSIBLE to create a clipping mask from a FOLDER to a Layer. To make things as clear as possible, I have attached two example files. Why is this?Is this ‘Normal’ or is it a BUG? Many thanks in advance! PS:I also posted the subject as a ‘bug’ here. But I don't know if it's a bug...https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-bugs/clipping-mask-folder-to-a-layer/idi-p/14987869#M114905
Most of us rename and renumber files. In my case, I use a naming format that includes a project name and a sequence number. I might shoot an event in multiple sessions and upload each session images into LRC as a separate batch, but I'd like to number all the images for a given project sequentially. So when I go into Library Rename to rename/renumber another batch of images, I would like the first number of this new batch to take off from where my previous renumbering ended. Currently, I have to look up the last number of my previous import, do my new import, then renumber the files by manually specifying the next number to use, e.g., "437" or whatever. That is a pain. It would be much easier if LRC can remember this number and offer the next number as "Start number" by default, so I can simply click OK and get on with it.
I'd like to see a feature where we can toggle the number of images PhotoShop makes at a time. Sometimes I do try to "push the edge," which was fine in the old PhotoShop - It would display the 1 or 2 attempts that did work - but now it doesn't. And it's getting really frustrating because I'm waiting upwards of 2 minutes to find out that my prompt doesn't work. But it doesn't have to be an edge thing either - I find if there's an element I'm really focussing on, I run it 2-3 times before I settle on one I want to use. So even say, getting to make 9 images at a time would be useful too. PhotoShop is really good, but these frustrating issues are driving me nuts.
This idea is for Photoshop on the Desktop. It would be great if there was a right-click context menu option to toggle individual Layer Thumbnails on/off. When documents contain many layers, it could be useful to hide certain layer thumbnails that are not important while leaving other, important thumbnails visible. For multiple layers, grouping them into a folder would work. However, if the stacking order doesn't permit that or logic precludes doing so, we're left with putting one layer into a folder to collapse it's thumbnail. This seems counterintuitive. Thanks for your time and consideration.
Hi team, it would be great to have a time tracking feature in premeire, for those like me who want to be able to accurately bill for the time spent cutting, it would be fantastic to have a run down of the time spent cutting after a project is finalized. Also, admidtly more grand, it would be great to have a basic project managment and tracking built in, perhaps based on timelines and tags, with targetable lables for rough, fine, final and locked cuts so we can see where the time is spent and how the project evolves in the edit. Ideallly this would be based on input rather then having to manually track time in another app. Thank for the consideration.
Copy is disabled for all AI mask components (Subject, Sky, Background, People, Objects). However, Duplicate is available, indicating this is just a simple UI bug, not an as-designed implementation restriction on AI mask components. Tested on LR 14.0.1 / Mac OS 14.6.1 and Windows 11:
Lightroom Desktop: Grid ViewTo zoom in and out in grid view to change the size of thumbnails, is the tiny slider on the right bottom corner in the UI the only way to achieve this? I would love to have a two finger pinch to zoom action and shortcuts for this which would be much more accessible.
As a Real Estate Photographer I am always removing shadows that are along a straight edge. When using the Remove Tool I will hold the shift key to get a straight line. When I complete the loop, auto fill does not work because I have picked up the brush. I would like to have a button on the control panel to fill the inside of a closed selection that has been created, with the Remove Tool, without a continuous loop. Thank you for your help.
Hello everyone, this is a bug I think: View on a MacBook Air M1 with display resolution set on "Default" (1440 x 900). View with display resolution set on "More Space" (1680 x 1050). So, using a default resolution we will never know that after the color labels ther's another attribute called "Kind" with other three options.
Right now it uses 100% of the CPU and sometimes can freeze the entire system... simple tasks like dust/scratch removing can take a few seconds to finish because it relies on the CPU I assume it uses something similar to the Llama cleaner, but that one run mainly on GPU so there's no reason Photoshop's Remove tool shouldn't be able to too.
When using the move tool, you can switch between the group or layer selection when the move tool selection is made again or the shortcut key (V) is pressed again.
Hi, I'm using a lot of audio transition to avoid "clicks", so i use audio transition of only one frame.Currently i can't lower the default duration less than two frames, so i have to manual change it everytime i use a transition Is there a technical barrier or is it a choice of the dev team to not let the user set the default transition to one frame ? Could it be changed ? Is there a work aroud i could use ? Have a good day
Hi,Would it be possible to add this kind of feature into After Effect in future?Lets call it "Global Switches", how it should work:- we are creating a single "global switch"- under it we can search for every effect- after finding effect we want we are clicking OK and the one global switch is created- we can rename it for example "CC Force Motion Blur"- right now, every time we check/uncheck out "CC Force Motion Blur" global switchevery "CC Force Motion Blur" effect in our project or comosition will be turned on/off This would help turning on/off effects that can take a long time to render, and we want to make a quick preview..
Hello, dear Adobe, please add smooth zoom in composition view like it is in Photoshop or Illustration. Current solusion is limited to certain fixed zoom levers and between 50% and 100% there is no extra step like 75% while between 1,5% and 50% there are 5 seteps which is pretty odd.
I am writing to propose a new feature that I believe would greatly benefit the After Effects community, particularly those creating Motion Graphics templates (MOGRTs): the ability to set multiple text styles using expressions within a single text layer in the source text.Implementing this feature would offer several advantages: Streamlined Workflow: Enabling multiple text styles in one layer would save time and reduce project complexity by eliminating the need for multiple text layers.Greater Customization: Creators would have more control over text elements, allowing for more dynamic and visually appealing content.Enhanced Compatibility with Premiere Pro: Simplifying text layer management would facilitate seamless editing and modification of templates in both applications.User-friendly Template Creation: Multi-style text layers would allow for simpler templates with fewer layers, making them easier for clients and other users to understand and use.Precise Style Control for MOGRT Users: Enabling this feature would allow MOGRT users to easily select and apply specific text styles, such as italic or bold, within the same text layer. This would grant them greater flexibility and precision when customizing the appearance of their text elements. In conclusion, adding the ability to set multiple text styles using expressions within a single text layer in After Effects would be a valuable improvement for the community, especially for those working with MOGRTs. Your continued dedication to enhancing the user experience and application capabilities is much appreciated. I have also gathered some links to forums and active discussions within the community, further emphasizing the demand and interest in implementing this feature. Best regards, Yoan B.
As more and more people use timecode devices like Tentacles or Diety to sync consumer grade mirrorless or DSLR cameras by embedding timecode into the camere's audio track, the ability for Premiere to natively identify this would help rememdously. Currently i have to use a editing sodtware from a well known brand, and it slows my workflow to sync in this other software, then import back into Premiere as XML, then output another XML back into the other editing software for someone else to perform the coloring process. thanks
