Lightroom Classic

I have the same issues in Lightroom classic 14.5 and with macOS 15.6.1.Cant mark images wit labels, stars and so on.How can I fix this?

When I initially subscribed to the Photography plan, I got a small 3.21 MB installer that automatically downloaded the latest version of Adobe Lightroom Classic then installed Creative Cloud which is fine. I lost that installer, now when I downloaded the installer, it defaults to installing Adobe Lightroom (not the classic version) so I am having to uninstall it then install Lightroom Classic. I contacted customer service via the online chat and they gave me a link to Adobe Lightroom Classic v14.0 the offline installer but that is not the latest as now we are on version 14.5.1. I need that online installer which downloads Lightroom Classic not the regular cloud based Lightroom. Please help

Hi everybody!I have been using Lightroom for over 10 years. On my old laptop with Intel Core i7 4720HQ, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M and 16 GB RAM, the screen was always slow when I zoomed in or out of the LR window and you could clearly see the individual parts of LR building up.Now I have a brand new PC: AMD Ryzen 9950x, NVIDIA RTX 5070, 96 GB RAM. I assumed that everything would just load smoothly. It does, but not with LR Classic! GPU is activated in the settings of LR. Why is that?  

Since upgrading to 14.5 today, the "down arrow" key in Compare mode has regressed.  Very frustrating, completely disrupts my preferred workflow.   Open a folder with >few images Expand the film strip (so you can see the selection later) "C" for compare mode (Not broken - demo:) Use Right and Left arrow keys to advance the candidate (Not broken - demo:) Use the Up arrow key to promote the candidate Use the Down arrow key to swap selection/candidate - THEN: Press Right arrow key twice   Actual behavior: 3 photos are selected (wrong behavior) Henceforth, Left/Right arrow keys can only toggle between the 3 selected photos. (Compare mode only works when 2 photos are selected, as has always been the case) Up arrow key no longer work at all ("Bonk" sound plays indicating invalid input, no change to selection) Can't continue to use Compare mode   Workaround: you're stuck until you clear the selection (Cmd+D), or deselect all but the primary selection (Cmd+Shift+D). &

 Good evening, can anybody tell me how to get rid of this error - LrC could not update AI settings for these photos? I've tried updating AI settings, I tried the preset on a raw different picture, and restarted LrC as well. Updated the app and still doesn't work. any help would be appreciated. Thank you! 

Hey, just got a DJI Air3s which has a 24mm and a 70mm lens.  When taking with the 70mm lens, the photos import to LR just the same view as the 24mm lens.  On the preview import view though you can see the difference in focal length.  when in develop mode though, it switches back to just the 24 mm view.I cant find any solutions to this anywhere.  The lenses are physical lenses and not digital zoom.  

Hi all! As you can see on the screenshots, I tried to remove an element in my picture, but it has gone all my image turned magenta with no reason. I tried the three tools and get the same result. Weird. Need to be fixed.

I do architectural type work and use the transform panel constantly. After this new 14.5 update, whenever I use the typical "vertical" or "auto" upright presets, the results are less than perfect most of the time. I believe something has changed with this update, and in my opinion it's much worse. It worked like a charm before, so if indeed I'm right and you changed the way it works, please....change it back!!

Boa tarde, Não consigo utilizar a opção remoção de ruído, nem a super-resolução. Na guia Editar > Preferências> Desempenho. Aparece a seguinte mensagem: A aceleração de gráficos está desativada devido a um erro. Mas no aplicativo da placa de vídeo, indica que está ativada, e tudo ok. Não sei mais o que faço. Até semana passada, a função funcionava bem.

HelloA friend has had to resurrect/salvage many years of my old image files from older non-functioning external hard drives  for meThey are now on a new 4 TB driveMy LR Catalogue has always remained on my  MacBook Pro laptop (running Sequoia 15.6 & LR Classic version 14.5)As these folders were moved outside of the LR environment, the images are no longer found/visible to LRI know I have to now 'point' LR to these files, but I am not tech savvy and finding it all very overwhelmingAny advice /direction in a simplified step/language form would be much appreciated . . .Below is an example of what i can see if this is any help??

Good evening, After having tried pretty much everything I could find or think of, I'm calling for help from the community, out of despair  Since LR 14.4, I barely can develop my pictures anymore: The Develop interface is very slow / lagging, The changes I try to apply seem to be queued, and executed with a massive lag, However, the changes I apply are applied instantaneously in the Navigation preview,Sometimes I *can* work at normal speed, does not last, Cropping tool will make the photo disappear from the Develop windows, until I switch pic, or tool, and then i will sometimes Switching pictures will make the processing lagging immediately, Switching pictures may display the new photos totally mis formed for few seconds All this symptoms come and go, I could not find a pattern (Not helping to troubleshooting)   The dev tools are lagging too: If I switch from Color to B&W: I keep seeing the Color Mixer If I switch back to Color, I keep seeing the B&W tools The folde

I've just installed a brand new Wacom Intuos tablet and I'm experiencing a strange issue where lightroom won't complete a function until I lift the pen up out of the hover zone. For example, clicking the left mouse on the image would normally zoom in instantly. When I tap the pen on the image the icon changes from a magnifier to a hand but the image isn't zoomed in. I have to lift the pen away from the tablet before the zoom happens.The same thing happens if I hit a keyboard shortcut such as "k" to create a new brush mask. If the pen is in the hover zone of the tablet nothing happens, I have to lift it up. This happens if Windows Ink is turned on or off.I'm running windows 11, all updates installed, all drivers up-to-date. Lightroom Classic 14.2Also worth noting everything is working correctly in Lightroom 8.2

I have presets that I use for sports, and all of the sudden they're turning my photos yellow in Adobe but when I export it turns out fine. How do I fix it? I'm on a Mac

I have spoken to at least ten agents at Adobe LC Support and no one has been able to resolve the issue of not being able to import photographs from my iPhone 16 Pro. I am, however, able to import from an SD card.    When connecting to the phone I am only able to see previews for some of the photographs. If I try to import them nothing happens and I usually have to Force Quit.   Support has elevated my case but no resolves have come. Promises to call me back have been ignored. My feeling is that the call center is pretty much useless for me in this instance and I wish that I could speak directly to someone in engineering.   ADOBE PLEASE HELP ME RESOLVE THIS ISSUE!!!   

When I open the crop tool in the develop module, I often have to wait 4-5 seconds before the tool appears.Using a new Mac Mini M4, and happens with Sony A1 files, Sony A9 mark 1, and Sony A7r3 files.Also happens on my 2017 iMac Pro.Any advice? Everything else runs smoothly, no lag. Literally just opening crop I have to wait, which is annoying because I need to crop/rotate every image.

I have been going in circles for days trying to figure out how this got out of sync. For years I have had a top folder by year and then imported into 'Originals' folder inside of each new shoot by date of shoot. But now, Lightroom is ignoring the top folder year and creating its own folder with its own date for last year being oblivious to where I am asking the new shoot to go.... into ready folders on disk. I have to come here and ask for help. I don't even know where to start as it seems I've tried everything and nothing is working. How can I get back to my old organized way of bringing in new files? The Save Metadata To File command doesn't always update a photo's metadata status to indicate it is Up To Date. To reproduce:   1. In Library View > View Options > Grid View, check Cell Icons > Unsaved Metadata.   3. In the Library Filter bar, open the Metadata browser with the column Metadata Status.   4. Observe that all 32 photos have metadata status Has Been Changed as indicated in the Metadata browser and on the thumbnails.   5. Select all the photos and do Metadata > Save Metadata To File.   6. Observe that 32 photos remain with status Has Been Changed, and Finder / File Explorer show the files or their .xmp sidecards have their Date Modified set to "now", indicating that LR wrote the files (but I haven't tested if they've been written correctly).   Tested on LR 13.3

Windows PC, LRC 13.I want to select an area in an image.  Select subject (or background or sky) doesn't do it.  Select Object does a good job if I just select a small section of what I want.  Now I want to ADD to my object selection to get more of my "subject", and another one and another one.  I may want to get 4 or 5 different selections into my object and have it in the mask...HOW do I create the other objects WITHOUT having to LEAVE my place in the image, go all the way up to the top right, press Add AGAIN, go all the way back, do the selection, then repeat this every time?  I don't care if each selection is a separate Object (if it has to be), I just don't want to have to keep going back and forth and hitting Add over and over to create another of the same type of selection. I thought I saw a presentation where the person created 8 or 9 objects in the mask and I don't recall ever seeing him go all the way up and hit Add every time - is there a keyboar

I have an external hard drive to which I move my archive images, which I'll refer to as Archive here. I back this up to an identical drive, which I'll refer to as  Backup here. I have identical folder structures in both drives. The root is the drive name then beneath that there is a folder called Lightroom RAW files. Below that are all the subfolders. When I attach the Archive drive I can see it as a drive in Lightroom Classic just fine as soon as I plug it in. I can see all the folders and sub-folders. When I attach the Backup drive to my Mac I can see the drive and all the folders subfolders in Finder. Everything in the Backup drive is present and correct. When I open Lightroom I first have to add the Backup drive by clicking + in the Folders panel. So I navigate to the drive in Finder on my Mac and click on the Lightroom RAW Files folder. The drive and Lightroom RAW files folder appear and the previews start to load. Hi, I have bought an R5 mk ii Canon camera. The RAW and C-RAW files are not recognised / able to import to Lightroom. Whereas Apple Photos does recognise them. The RAW and C-RAW files from my original R5 are recognised in Lightroom. What to do please?
