I have ~800 missing shoot-date folders that all need to be reconnected under newly created YYYY-MM parent folders. Is there any supported way to bulk update folder locations, or must Update Folder Location be performed one folder at a time? All the files and folders are present on the disk. I just need to find an efficient way to tell LR where they are. All folders in folder panel have question marks.I originally successfully moved the folders under new sub folders from within LR. Unfortunately, the catalog I used for this got corrupted. I have a backup catalog, but because the folders were physically moved on the disk, the backup can’t find them. Many thanks!
Because of problems running LR CC with Tahoe etc I decided to changeover to a new MacBook Pro M5. Migrate the old Mac to the new will give deviations and is not advisable (mentioned in this forum). Is the only way to copy all details from old LR CC to a harddrive and paste them into the new LR CC new MacBook Pro M5?
The Denoise box the noise more aggressive and adds a lot of sharpness. How can I gently reduce the noise? We didn't have this problem before

I just did a huge camera upgrade this past week from a 5D Mark IV with the old Mark I EF 100-400L to a brand new R5 Mark II and the RF 100-500L lens. I do mainly aviation/airshow stuff. I often start my edits in LRC by just seeing what the auto tone suggests, it’s usually been pretty close on RAWs from the 5D IV. With the new camera it’s been very hit or miss, often drastically over or underexposing the images, clipping the blacks and highlights etc. Am I missing something here that I need to configure in LRC? Is it somehow expecting my old camera and applying the algorithm as if it’s that or something? Thanks, appreciate any help - definitely still just scratching the surface on learning the R5 II, I know things have changed pretty drastically with these mirrorless cameras vs. what I’m used to so it may be something I’m doing wrong.
Images from a synced Lightroom Classic (12.3) collection appear distorted (vertically squashed) when viewed in the generated web gallery. This is consistent across browsers, devices, OS (but working primarily on Mac 13.3.1 and iOS 16.2). I saw that there was a similar discussion from June 2022 but the proposed solution (check the metadate projection field for equirectangular) did not resolve the issue. Interestingly, when I access the collection on a mobile device, the images are distorted in the collection there (not just a generated web gallery). However when I hard press on an image (a gesture that typically shows before/after states) the original unedited image briefly appears (as expected) but when it pops back to the current state, the distortion is gone. For background, these images were shot on a Sony a7iii with the aspect ratio accidentally set to 16:9 (versus the native sensor 3:2). Once imported I batch reset the crop to include the whole sensor captu
I am trying to tether my Sony A7V to Lightroom Classic on my MacBook Pro. When I try Lightroom just gets stuck trying to detect my camera. I was able to connect my camera using Imaging Edge Desktop so I know it's not an issue between my camera and computer or my USB-C cable. Both my camera and Lightroom are completely up to date. I’ve tried following every tutorial I can find but I haven't found any specific to using the A7V. My menu titles are all slightly different and in different spots than older versions of the camera so I’m not 100% sure I have everything set up right on my camera. Since it is working with Imaging Edge though, I assume I am. I’ve also tried deleting Lightroom Classic preferences on my Mac which I saw in a few posts with similar situations but the files I was supposed to delete did not exist. Could it be something to do with my camera being a relatively new release? I have only started being able to open RAW files in adobe in the last couple months becaus
Is it possible to create a Searchable Prompt in Lightroom Classic to select all files with specified maximum dimensions or file size?
I'm seeing a very strange Lightroom Classic issue and would appreciate any ideas.Lightroom Classic: 15.2.1OS: Windows 11SymptomsThe photos definitely exist in the catalog. I can find them under All Photographs. I can edit them normally. Show in Explorer opens the correct local folder. If I try to import the same file again, Lightroom correctly reports:"This photo has already been imported."However, when I select that folder in the Folders panel:Lightroom displays "No Photos in Folder". The folder badge still shows the correct number of photos. The status bar at the bottom says 0 photos.Example:Folder 2010 shows 6 photos. Subfolders 07 and 09 each show 1 photo. Selecting any of these folders displays no photos at all.Additional observationsGo to Folder in Library from a photo found in All Photographs doesn't jump to the folder. Instead Lightroom starts "Analyzing Photos" and appears to hang indefinitely. Running Synchronize Folder produced this internal error: UNIQUE constraint failed:A

I recently transferred Mac’s. My light room pictures transfer but not my light room classes. None of the pictures or presets. I need those presets for my business. They should have been stored in your cloud but have not. Do better.
I cannot get my lightroom to open.I first noticed an issue when Lightroom Classic was not resuming at the previous pictures but returned to a picture edited some days ago, however in other respects everything seemed to be working. This may have started after the last update. It first failed to load after I had done a backup. I tried loading this backup and then a previous one but kept getting corupt catalogue message.I eventually got a backup from June 5th to load, though the catalouge had to be updated to the new format before appearing to open and operate correctly. However on closing the program it would not open again.Since then I have reset preferences and reinstalled lightroom from the adobe creative cloud app, all without any change.Today I launched the reinstalled Lightroom with a new empty catalogue and imported an old catalogue (over 500000 pictures). It took some hours but after it loaded photos and then loaded masks it did open and appeared to function correctly. However,
Hoping someone can help! I have used Lightroom for 7+ years and this has never happened until yesterday… After I imported a session into Lightroom, I realized all the photos are extremely overexposed from how I shot them. When I open the RAW file outside of Lightroom, it is exposed the way I shot it (Pictures for reference). I shot these with the same Camera I’ve used for years (6D Mark ii) and use Lightroom all the time and have never had this happen to me until yesterday. I have googled, YouTubed, and attempted everything I could find, but nothing has fixed it. So I’m hoping someone here can help!! Also for reference I have tried rolling back to an older version of Lightroom… I have tried purging my cache… I have made sure I don’t have a preset turned on when importing… I have looked under preferences at camera defaults… Desperately trying to finish sessions, so all help and suggestions are appreciated!
I was using Lightroom Classic, hovered over the Adaptive:Sky drop down menu and it crashed. When I re opened it had reset itself to Default, every menu had to be reopened and it will not allow me to save an image as a jpg, I only get jpeg2000 and jpeg XL in the menu, I do not have any unflattened layers.
I store all of my images in a LR catalog. That’s how I was taught to do it. I can access certain years of photos based on my hard drives, labeled LR1, LR2 and so on. My first catalog is from 2010. However, when LR says it cannot open my catalog unless I update I have been doing so. Now, when I go to open catalogs on older hard drives, I can’t! Please help. I just need access to my photos. TIA!
Hi I have recently migrated my catalogue from a very old version of lightroom to the most recent but even though the program knows where the files are located it is not showing any previews of my images, just greyed out boxes. I have tried deleting the preview files held but that hasn’t worked. I have also tried changing the colour space but that hasn’t worked either. Please help!
I upgraded to 15.4.1 about 10 days ago and have been experiencing LRC crashes ever since. It’s mostly OK in the Library Mode but if I go into Develop, it usually crashes after a few minutes. If I also have Chrome open, it sometimes freezes as well and gives me a ‘low memory’ reason.I run LRC on an LG Gram 16” laptop which uses an Intel Iris Xe Graphics card with 128 MB of dedicated video memory and 8 GB of shared system memory. I suspect those numbers may be low to support LRC, but none of this happened before upgrading to 15.4.1. LRC ran quite well before the upgrade.Any ideas on how to fix this before I reluctantly buy a new laptop?
After the updated 15.4 my images have degraded quality using the same editing workflow and editing process as before. When boosting the exposure the noise profile has changed to a more pixelated versions and artificial look. After applying Denoise AI the shadows and mid tones have a posterisation look, especially around high contrast edges, that did not appear before 15.4No matter what amount of Denoise AI level I put the image quality looks horrible, where before using 50-100 looked great now it looks very bad and I can’t use more then 5-15 and have to accept noise in the images.I have tried the same files on a Windows 11 with i7 9750H,16GB DDR4 and RTX 2060 6GB and Mac mini M1 base model with 16GB RAM with the same issue being presented. Both machines are OS and Drivers updated to Jul 2026. This problem has persisted for almost 3 weeks since the Lightroom Classic 15.4 and 15.4.1 was introduced. Both software have been installed via Adobe Creative Cloud with updated Adobe Camera RAW t
I have been working an an Imac 5K for 8 years and since the introduction of the face recognition mask in Lightroom classic, it has worked flawlessly even finding and masking people and faces which were pretty small in a picture. However, I very recently switched to a MAC Ultra M1 and did a clean install of all my adobe suite apps (No Migration but proper installation). Since installation, Lightroom classic is working lightning fast with very fluid navigation, ultra fast process of images, noise etc... BUT, unfortunately, most of the times, Lightroom does not find people, even on portrait where people are looking at the camera with a open and clean face. The only time it works i would say, it's when the faces are about a quarter of the size of the photo. If faces are smaller like in a full body group photo, Lightroom does not find faces. Why is that? Is there a fix to that? Is it. bug or is it due to the M1 ultra chip or GPU?Thanks for anyone's help.
Nothing has changed on my desktop. When I got it new last summer, processing was seconds. All updates applied. However, when I use the built-in denoise in Lightroom or a DXO plug-in, it is now taking over 5 minutes per picture. Why - has enhanced built-in AI stuff slowed it down? or is it a bug? Driving me nuts as I often have high ISO wildlife shots, and this is making the experience a real chore. Any suggestions of what has gone wrong? Bags of space on the computer and memory.
Hi all.I need some basic support regarding support for Adobe Lightroom Classic. I’ve been using the software to 10+ years, have about 500K of images.During these years it has been (very seldom) necessary to contact Adobe for support. When done so, I have been supported over phone, shared sessions etc.I now have a more severe problem. Lightroom insists my cloud storage is getting full, 99%, 19GB of 20GB. I have taken away several thousands of images, but the number is still climbing. I see no effect of my deletions. That said as a background. My main question is: is it no longer possible to contact the Adobe directly, as in the old days, and raise a ticket? I cannot see that possibility. However, since I seldom have problems, I might well be missing something.Any suggestions for me to proceed to solve my issue would be very welcome. Thanks! best regards Hans Andersson
Hi folks, bit of a long shot this. I’ve had to rebuild one of my Macs (running Ventura) which had Canon Print Studio Pro version 2.2.8 installed. We use this occasionally for large print and Print Studio Pro produces a far better result than printing directly from LR or Photoshop.Tried to download this from Canon and it’s not available any more, every link to that version results in a 404 error. Asked their support and they said the only version available is 1.4. Does anyone have the v2.2.8 install files please?Alternatively, can anyone shed any light on why I can get get a perfect, properly saturated print from Print Studio Pro but from Photoshop 2026 or LR Classic the colours are washed out? I’m using the same colour profile for the paper stock.
The Windows icons for .lrcat files have been missing for several months. See attachments containing “NOK”.I fixed this for LrC 15.2 by changing the Windows registry entry HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AdobeLightroom7.lrcat\DefaultIcon from "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Lightroom Classic\Lightroom.exe",5 to"C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Lightroom Classic\Lightroom.exe",1See attachments containing “OK”.After installing LrC 15.2.1, the registry entry reverted to '5', which caused the icons to go missing.
