Lightroom Classic

Eu sempre trabalhei normalmente no Lightroom com computadores inferiores e sempre deu certo. Mas comprei um iMac de última geração e trava demais quando aplico qualquer coisa na foto. Alguma solução?Tudo está atualizado.iMac 24 polegadasChip M4Memória 16gbMacOS Sequoia 

I have successfully used Lightroom classic for. a few year. My catalogue and raw images were save to an ext HD through LR. Last week my hard drive failed. I took it to a shop and they said the motor had gone and copied all the data on to a new External HD. I have brought it home and plugged into my macbook and opened LR. It can't locate the catalog and wants to use an old one, update  or make a new one. I dare not click anything ! I just want my old way of working back where all my images are together, sorted in to years. It says a new catalogue will not be compatible with older versions of LR classic. There is somehting that says catalog in the new hard drive.  Any suggestions on what I should do ? I do not know the  LR classic version as I can't open it if i dont click one of the catalog options. I use latest version on Sequoia on macbook pro

Can anyone please help..?Lightroom Classic has suddenly stopped importing, it starts the process as if everything is normal, leaves the import dialog and goes back to Library module, but then the progress bar doesn't move, it freezes and no images are imported. Won't import from a memory card or from another catalog. Will not 'Add' a folder from another internal ssd. No thumbnails in Import dialog, just grey boxes. I did nothing to the PC between 'working' and 'not working' conditions. I often like to have two copies of a photo - one in color and one in black and white. After I create virtual copies, I want to rename the black&whites before publishing for my clients. For example, the color photos may be titled: Anna-1, Anna-2, etc. When I try to change the black & white virtual copies to be Anna-1-BW, Anna-2-BW, Lightroom automatically changes the originals to these same names. So the color photos are now labeled with my "BW" addition. How can I name these virtual copies so they have separate names from the originals? Thanks.

I'm creating smart collection with a list of files: local function stringifyPhotoList( photoList ) return table.concat(photoList, ", ") end [...] local searchDesc = { criteria = "filename", operation = "any", value = stringifyPhotoList(photos), } catalog:createSmartCollection(subColName, searchDesc, newParentColSet) filenames are separated with commas. Everything works fine - I have smart collection with selected photos. Expect one case - when filenames contain spaces - then it starts matching a lot more photos than it should. I don't know how can I handle such case. I tried enclosing filenames in parentheses or apostrophies - it does not help.

The text filter: Caption Ends With "ab" matches a photo with caption "xab" but not with caption "aab".

When the SDK method photo:setRawMetadata("gps", coordinates) changes the GPS coordinates of a photo, the Library Metadata panel doesn't show the new coordinates. So, I work with Lightroom with two different PCs each with their own Catalogue and sometimes I upload photos via one PC and then create a sync folder in the cloud with some of them. Lately the sync catalogue is quite a mess with some photos being wrongly displayed. What I mean is I have some photos with the same name and shot in diferent dates (e.g. IMG_0123) which are being wrongly displayed and in the wrong folder not corresponding with the actual image taken. Plus, LR Classic never quite finishes syncing despite ot finding any sync errors when I access Lightroom in the web. Any ideas how to solve this? Thank you

Hi everyone,I recently upgraded my system with an NVIDIA RTX 5080 (Desktop GPU). While Photoshop detects and uses the GPU without issues, Lightroom Classic (v14.3.1) shows the “Use Graphics Processor” option as permanently grayed out.I went through all standard troubleshooting steps, including:– Studio driver 576.52 (clean install)– BIOS set to PCIe, iGPU disabled– Preferences reset, admin launch, full Creative Cloud reinstall– GPU correctly assigned in Windows and in NVIDIA settingsI also spent over 2 hours in Adobe Remote Support (case ADB-40345402-L1L2) with no solution. The agent could not confirm whether the RTX 5080 is officially supported in Lightroom Classic. LR Classic is frequently crashing in the metadata caption box. I can't reliably reproduce the issue, it just works for a while then LR disappears and then crash report window appears.   I do notice the text drawing in the caption box gets a bit flaky. Odd or just deleted text appearing then disappearing. Hallo, nachdem ich meine RAW´s in LRc bearbeitet habe, exportiere ich sie als .jpg mit 100 % Qualität (Screenshot siehe Anhang).Die RAW-Datei hat ca. 32 Mb, das unbeschnittene .jpg nur meist weniger als die Hälfe (ca. 16 Mb).Wenn ich die Bearbeitung nur in Luminar Neo durchführe ist das .jpg deutlich größer (ca. 25 Mb).Wenn ich die LRc Bearbeitung an Luminar Neo übergebe, bekomme ich ja eine .tif-Datei zurück.Exportiere ich die, so ist das .jpg noch kleiner (ca. 8 Mb).Wie kann das?GrußPeter Schumacher

Hi, how much money do I have to spend on a Windows laptop to get a decent and lag-free Lightroom experience? I bought new 2500 $ Lenovo Legion 7 16IRX9 (Intel Core i9-14900HX, 32GB RAM, RTX 4060 8GB), which I would call a decent spec, but I still have to generate 6 MPx proxies to be able to semi-fluently work in Develop mode. Even then Lightroom (Classic) takes about a second to switch from one image to another and load the UI in Develop mode and around 2 seconds to just open the masking tools. Any suggestions? Lukáš

When any new mask is selected, LRC is making an initial adjustment.  I have already checked for updates to LRC and MAC.  Also I have tried preferences/performance GPU in LRC.  The mask is making initial adjustments regardless of selection (i.e. subject, brush, landscape, etc).
