Lightroom Classic

When I start Denoise, instead of pop-u showing the progress the entire right side panel is grade out and a test says : An AI process is running on the photo. Editing is temporarily disabled.” Ok, There is a problem: A popup is the standard established way of visually indicate a process i progress. The ways this new bizarre way indicates the process is confusing. Sometimes the images flickers, making an optical indication I am Done , I click on something, but there is no response to anything because the process is in progress. Please stop the foolishness.  An example, a 45min running “dead process” on a 24 Mpix file: Even a sniping tool of Windows often hangs when Lightroom runs. The top apre aof the image shows a black background panel, which than disappears. and we cannot even make screens hot, because the entire windows hangs than hopelessly.  An example:Forever hanging, never finishing. A 20Mpix, small by present times. 

Hello, I’m facing since a few days a strange behavior with Lightroom classic. When inserting the card in my Mac, non images are displayed in the import window. Nevertheless, it’s possible to see them in the Finder (both jpeg & raw)My current configuration is Mac Studio M2 Max, Tahoe 26.3.1 & LRC 15.3 Using the same card & card reader with my Wx computer & LRC 15.2 does not bring any issue. Images are present to be imported.(I just tried to remove / install LRC on the Mac keeping the profile and it provides the same result) Any idea  ? Thanks

Lr Classic 15.0.1 macOS 26.1   Steps: 1: Enter Develop mode for Photo A 2: Click Copy... to copy settings 3: Select all settings.... but uncheck Crop 4: Go to Photo B and paste settings (if prompted select either Merge or Replace... it doesn't affect reproducibility)   Results: I see the crop was applied to Photo B even though crop was not selected when pasting. I didn't test this for other combinations of settings but perhaps others here might have other occurences of their own.

When I click on some of the masking tools such as sky or background, LR appears to start working on it, blue circle spins, but then it just stops and doesn’t mask anything. Brush masking seems to be OK. I have updated my Graphics drivers to latest version as well (NVidia GeForce 2070 Super) but this hasn’t made a difference. Sometimes, restarting LRC will sort it, other times, I have to fully reboot my PC. This has never been an issue before prior to installing latest LRC. Happens quite frequently. Thanks.

Ive been having issues with the Publish module ever since the latest update. It seems like Lightroom believes everything is published, even though not all the pictures are really published.   It seems to only happen to published collections which were in the process of being published then stopped. For example:Create new collection Hit Publish Wait Everything publishesBut for each collection I have published before the latest update/stop in the middle of publishing, it refuses to publish any further photosCreate new collection Hit Publish Cancel the Publish job halfway through Hit publish again Won’t publish any imagesThis is happening on all of my publish modules I have set up - reauthenticating does not fix any of them. Neither has removing the plugin, reinstalling the plugin, or even rebooting my pc/trying the catalog on a different computer. Im out of ideas at this point, but since the rich Publish module + supported websites is the only thing keeping me on Lightroom, it’d be great

I edit a photo, go back to Library grid, open another file for editing, when I enter Develop module loupe view what appears to be a double exposure appears. Problem is resolved by quitting LR and reopening, but returns after a few additional edits. Mac M2 Mini with Graphics Processor ON; Sequoia 15.6.1 

Have upgraded to LR15.3 classic and now I can’t apply any presets. How do I fix this? 

Using LR Classic 13.2 on a MacBook Pro OS 13.6.4. When creating and exporting a web gallery, using the Classic Gallery template, and sizing the images, the sizes are increased by 100% when viewing in LR or a web browser (tried Chrome, Firefox, and Safari). So a 1000px image becomes 2000px, and noticeably softer in sharpness. However it doesn’t do this on my lower resolution monitor (2 monitor setup). I can move the browser window from monitor to monitor and see the image quality change. Why is this happening and how can I maintain the image size specified (is this html code I can modify)? Since the latest Lightroom Classic update, I’m experiencing a bug when exporting files.Workflow:1. Open catalog with DNG files edited by a collaborator2. Save metadata (Cmd/Ctrl + S)3. Export JPEGs in high resolution to the same folder4. Use “Export → Format: Original” to copy those JPEGs to a new external folder (not added to catalog)Issue:In this last step, Lightroom randomly generates .acr sidecar files for some images in the destination folder.Important:- This did NOT happen before the update- Source folder does NOT contain any .acr files- It only happens when using “Format: Original”- It does NOT happen when exporting JPEG normally (low resolution or re-encoded)- It only affects some files, not allThis seems related to metadata writing or sidecar handling.System:- Lightroom Classic version: 15.3- OS: Mac 26.3.1 (25D2128)

Greetings,I have used Lightroom Classic and Photoshop before that for a very long time.  So for years I used my i1Pro2 meter and i1Profiler software to calibrate and generate icc profiles for my windows PC’s. I hope this is the right place to post this question on the forums.    Now I have a shiny new Asus OLED PA32UCDM ProArt monitor.  Although this is Calman factory calibrated, I am doing a “check” hardware calibration of this new monitor in wide gamut mode with a new meter and Calman software. It will write to the monitor LUT, however it does not generate an icc profile to install in windows.From my recollection, since I am using the ProPhoto colorspace in Lightroom and Photoshop, it utilizes the icc profile to translate the colorspace requested to the current state and capabilities of the monitor.After I do my hardware calibration the monitor will be very well calibrated.  But it will be running with the default installed icc that does not really know the current status of the cali

In the Print mode in Lightroom Classic I select Page Setup to choose printer, paper size and type. Then go to Print Settings - Printer Options and set Color Matching and Print Settings. Then go to Printer - Printer Options and set Color Matching and Print Settings again and then print. The final print comes out as a tiny thin line in the center of the paper.

Add New Mask, then select Subject. Some idle time, then no result. Have rebooted, same results. Hi Community,I’m experiencing severe performance issues with Lightroom. The app is extremely slow, barely usable, while all other Adobe Suite apps run smoothly on my system.I’ve tried restarting the app, change settings, edit on my SSD but the issue persists. I haven’t made any recent changes to my setup that would explain this. I use Windows 11, release 15.2.1 and Camera Raw 18.2.2Does anyone have suggestions on how to resolve this?Thanks in advance for your help!

Since updating to 15.3, everything runs MUCH slower in LRC. Any AI masking takes longer and especially denoise is painfully slow now. My system is newer, I have a good graphics card and it’s been running perfectly for months, until this update. My catalog is brand new with less than 3000 RAW images in it.Is this a known bug that is being worked on (hopefully), or are there new settings I need to adjust possibly? Any info would be helpful, it’s really slowing me down.

This post applies to Lightroom Classic and Lightroom Desktop.  Feedback for Camera Raw should be posted here.   Update February 2025:Adobe has introduced two Adaptive Profiles – Adaptive Color & Adaptive B&W.   Getting started with the Adaptive Profiles:  Access a profile inside the profile favorites menu.  In addition, there is a new section for Adaptive Profiles in the Profiles browser.  Enable the profile and adjust the ‘Amount’ slider as desired.  Use the rest of the Camera Raw tools just like you would otherwise.  Check out the Help Page for more detailed usage information. black and white outline on my pictures in lightroom classic after update  v15.3 ->  Filmstrip 

This issue is back.I have two monitors and extend the displays. I run LRC on the left monitor. When I open the second window it opens on the left monitor. If I drag the main window part way over to the right monitor, open the second window and then maximize the main one, the main window snaps to the left monitor and the second to the right.It does not matter which monitor is considered primary or which is labeled as 1 or 2.LRC 15.3 on Win 11 (10.0.28200), NVIDIA Studio Driver 595.79 - Geforce RTX 5070,  Asus VZ24EHF and Asus VZ27EHF

I am running LR 6.5.  Often, when I open the secondary monitor and then switch to grid view on the primary monitor, a "second" secondary monitor window will open on the primary screen. In other words, I have the primary monitor showing grid view, the secondary monitor showing loupe view, and another small secondary window on the primary monitor (also showing loupe view).  Does anyone know how I can stop this second secondary window from opening?

I recently just reinstalled both lightroom classic and photoshop on my windows 11 laptop after dealing with a subscription issue. They both worked fine with minimal issues prior to deleting them but after reinstalling I just can’t seem to get LRC to open at all and always leads immediatly to a crash report on startup. Photoshop launches just fine which is very strange. If someone can help me with this that would be great. I will copy the crash report if that helps (it’s very long for some reason). When attempting to sync settings in the develop module, the crop, straighten and aspect ratio selections are grayed out. When I click on synchronize, the crop is applied but. If you don't want to synch the crop, there doesn't appear to be anyway to deselect that option. 

Usually, the photos that need attention for noise reduction are those taken with high ISO.  How high varies a bit with the camera, but generally I want to consider applying noise reduction at ISO 1600 or higher and sometimes even ISO 800.  And the best time to apply noise reduction is at the very start of processing. Given these considerations it seems odd that LR does not provide any help in locating the high ISO images in a collection or folder.   Ability to sort on ISO would be extremely useful; alternatively, a way to filter on high ISO could serve much the same need.  Neither of these options would seem to present much difficulty since ISO is recorded in the EXIF information.
