I had found a Tips YouTube Movie that showed a "hidden" way of being able to apply this button to any selection of photos rather than just one at a time. This worked brilliantly for me and saved hours of time as once I had set it once it remained active every time I restarted Lightrooom. Unfortunatley it has reverted to single photos only and I cannot remember how to reset it and I cannot find the YouTube Movie either. Can anyone help me please?
Issue: Graphics glitches Lightroom Classic version: 13.5.1 [ 202408271704-d15d09cd ] MacOS Sequoia 15.0.1 Apple Silicon M3 Max Issue: Graphics glitches whilst using LR in develop and library whilst Full Graphics Acceleration is enabled. Step 1 Goto Performance > Enable 'Use GPU for image processing (Process version 5 or higher)'. Step 2 Navigate the Library and start editing pictures and graphics glitches begin to apppear. Expected result: No graphics glitches Actual result: Glitches appear within the edited file but also randomly in various elements of the LR interface, sometimes even in the menu bar of the OS. Sometimes the system will crash, reboot and log back in with a crash report ready to send to Apple. A WORK AROUND is to ENABLE 'Use GPU for Display' but DISABLE 'Use GPU for image processing (Process version 5 or higher)', no more graphics glitches and LRC can be used to edit images without any issues. First few lines of the Apple Report: panic(cpu 7 caller 0xfffffe002
Recently updated to mac OS Sequoia 15.3.2 and started having problems importing photos from my iPhone to Liughtroom Classic. It will import some photos, but not all of them. Looked through the some of the old community posts for suggestions, but none of the previous advice seems to help...
I have recently encourted this problem in Lightroom. I copy the exposure, color temprature etc. (Command C)I then paste it on a set of images (Command V) The first time I hit command V it is not applying. The second time I hit command V it will finally apply. I have reset Lightroom Classic and it is still doing this to me. Macbook Pro - November 2024 - Computer I am using
I've recently experienced a consistent crash of tethering my Canon 5D Mark IV to Lightroom Classic v. 11.3.1 (most recent update as of 4/22/22) after exactly 6 shots. I use a 15 ft. TetherPro USB-C to 3.0 Micro-B cable to my HP OMEN laptop with an Intel Core i7-10750H CPU @ 2.60GHz and 32 GB of RAM. I’m running Windows 10. I called Tether Tools tech support after reading two articles on their website that blame the issue on the speed limiters built into the USB 3.0 ports on laptop computers. They suggested using a powered USB hub, the Tether Tools boost controller or my USB-C port. I tried the powered USB (which I happen to have) and it didn’t work. I then purchased the boost controller and a Tether Tools USB-C cable and neither solved the problem. I read another post where it was suggested to turn off the Use Graphics Processor option in LR settings but that didn’t work either. I then discovered 2 solutions that avoiding the freeze (1) shoot jpg (not a good option)
I'm quite nervous about this---I have about 35000 images in my LR Classic catalog, that I've worked with for years on my dear old iMac. The images themselves, though, are on a couple of 2TB drives in a two-tray box from Mac Gurus, and I hope to keep them right where they are. These drives have been connected via Firewire 800 to the iMac, using a Thunderbolt 2 to FW800 adapter. I'm about to update the drive box from FW to USB 3.1, for faster data movement when connected to the Mac Studio. When I got the Studio, I used Migration Assistant to bring all my files and folders from the iMac to the Studio, but I continued to use the iMac just for Lightroom work because its screen was better than what I had for the Studio. I've just acquired a Studio Display as well, so I'm ready to start using LR on the Studio at last. When I started LR on the new Studio, Adobe apparently copied my existing library to it, via the Cloud, I assume---nice! I didn't realize that would happen. Since I have alw

I have the same problem I cannot transfer photos from lightroom to photoshop I can only suspect it is because I have a PC with a snapdragon processor is Adobe aware of this? [Mod.: Please don't react approx. two years old posts. It's better to create a new thread and describe your problem as detailed as possible. Also give us informations about your system. Without these informations all is a look into a crystal ball]

Hey everyone! I'm working on capturing high-quality product shots for an online store (randmvapekaufen. com), and I'm looking for Lightroom Classic presets or editing tips to make product images stand out. Specifically, I want to enhance details, make colors pop, and ensure a clean, professional look. Any recommendations for presets or editing techniques? Also, what are your go-to export settings for e-commerce images? Thanks in advance!
Lighroom v14.2 on Windows.Cannot scroll down in the Preferences menu (Edit<Preferences). Any changes I try to make cannot be saved, as I can't scroll down far enough to hit the save button. Tried resetting the settings when re-opening Lighroom with (shift & ,), does not fix the issue. There is no scroll bar, and neither mouse or trackpad scrolling is working. Tried everything I can to make enough space on the screen to see the save button, but it is not working. Nor do I have a monitor to connect to to give the screen more space. Help appreciated 🙂(image attatched is all i can see, can't scroll or make more space, removing taskbar doesnt help)
Please help!!! everything has been great with my Lightroom classic until today. Everything is running SO slow. I'm talking like to export photos. It's taking 45 minutes to an hour to export 15 photos. Every time I click on a photo to edit. I get the spinning wheel that it's loading for about 20 minutes. I am editing on a MacBook. I don't have a ton of old albums in Lightroom or photos and I have a ton of storage left! so I have no idea why this is happening. And nothing is different than what I usually do in Lightroom and it's never been a problem so I'm at a complete loss for what's going on. I have a M1pro 32 GB RAM I currently have 400 GB available on my SSD I have no issues with the speed outside of Lightroom. It's only with Lightroom.
I am unable to import any video files from my Canon EOS R5. The thumnail for the mp4 files in the Import window says "Preview unable for this file". And, of course, when I attempt to import these files I get "An unknown error occured while reading the video file". The video cache setting in Preferences (iMac running MacOS 12.5) does nothing helpful. Based on other threads I have read with similar problems, Lightroom CC is useless for video. The format I use is standard video file format, 4K, color space BT. 709, C.Log 3, etc. Is there a workaround for this?
I have several items that are listed in Publishing services as missing plug-in. When I try to remove them I get the following:Can't delete the published collectionAn internal error has occured: ?:0:attempt to index field'publishSettings' (a nil value) I'm using the latest 12.3 release of Lightroom Classic on iMac (2015) with latest OSThanks,Lyle
Hello,My list of publish services showing several entries named like "(missing plug-in) : <collection name>"; I want to delete them before they cause any trouble, but I cannot find how to do that.Right clicking on these entries and choosing "Delete" shows an error message saying "Can’t delete the published collection(s). An internal error has occurred: ?:0: attempt to index field 'publishSettings' (a nil value)". Opening them in the publishing manager shows the empty Settings page with the "not saved" as the service name. Pressing "Remove" there gives the same error as before. Resetting settings did not help. Nothing suspicious in the Plug-in manager - all plugins I have show green - installed and running. Please help.I am using LR Classic Release 12.1 on a 64-bit Windows 10 Home.
I am currently having a problem tagging faces: When I try to draw a face region, I can select the "draw face region" icon and it changes to be highlighted...but my curser does not change to allow me to draw a recangle (it just stays a magnifying glass and if I click it zooms in)...
Recently trying the Compare feature, and every time I finish Compare, lightroom has 2 photos selected in the bottom strip. I click the X for the least liked photo, until clicking X keeps showing the same photo, that indicates I've complete the compare. But there are still 2 photos selected. When I click on Loupe View, there is still 2 photos selected. Why is it not only selecting my favorte one? I have 14.2 Windows thx [Moved from ‘Bugs’ to ‘Discussions’ by moderator, according to forum rules.]
Hi, I have this problem with deleting photos.System: MacOs 15.3.3Apple M4 ProLR classic: 14.2Problem: if I press the delete (backspace) button above the photo in the library. A modal window about deleting pops up, see screen. As you can see, the first button is blue, the second is framed.1) if I press enter, the photo is deleted from the catalog (expected deletion from disk because the framed button determines focus)2) navigation using the arrow keys does not work, you need to use the tab key.3) even when using the tab key, the options change, but still after pressing the enter key, deletion from the catalog is used (never from disk). The only option is to use the space key instead of enter. This whole procedure is confusing and using enter is not possible to delete photos. Only space or mouse click.
i am preparing a number of files for stacking. When i go to synchronise them the settings box wont let me check all the boxes i need to . I click on the check all button and most of what i want to sync stays greyed out.Has anyone had this happen or know how to fix this?
