Lightroom Classic

Hello, LRC as of today is hanging when I try to enter the print module. CPU usage sits around 5%. WIN 11 updated yesterday(24H2  KB5053598) and all three local versions of photoshop also stopped printing (Hung). Resolved by restarting each version holding the Shift Alt Ctrl keys during start. Also had to hold space bar (While entering print module) for one image I needed to print.I don't normally print from LRC, but it is convienent at times to do so. So would be nice to have a fix for LRC. Hi Adobe Community,I’m hoping for guidance on an issue preventing me from clearing cloud storage space after syncing photos to Lightroom Classic. Here’s my workflow:Import photos into Lightroom (cloud version).Let them sync to Lightroom Classic (LrC) via the cloud.After syncing, I use the “Remove from All Synced Photographs” option in LrC to free up Adobe Cloud storage.This has worked until my recently. I imported hundreds of photos to Lightroom (cloud), synced them to LrC, and attempted to remove them from synced photos as usual. However, the photos remain stuck in “All Synced Photographs”, leaving my cloud storage full. With a trip to Poland approaching, I urgently need to resolve this to avoid hitting storage limits.Questions:Has anyone else encountered this after recent updates?Are there known fixes?Any advice would be invaluable! Hello,I understand that its possible to seach for multiple filenames using the TEXT filter search set to: Any searchable field > Contains. However if I cut and paste a list of filenames separated by a space. Lightroom does not recognise the filenames. I can get LR to recognise the filenames by clicking in the search field and on the space between the filename and deleting then reinserting a space. Obviously this is not workable for 50+ filenames.Have a I missed something or is this a glitch other users are experiencing?I am using  Mac OS 10.12.3 with latest Lightroom.Many thanks for any feedback.

Something strange is happening, bought a Sony 28-70 F2 a couple of weeks ago. Lr classic is up to date, the lens porofile should be available, but still can't find it in the list. LR doesn't recognise it autmattically either. But when I click on the I  (information ) in he lens profile box, it says the correct lens, but the image is distorted.   

I subscribe to Lightroom and have it on my desktop. My Nikon D750 will tether fine to the desktop.On my laptop which has Lightroom 5.7.1 it does not recognize the camera. Is there any way I can make this work.Thanks

Just checked for updates to LrC and MacOS. There was a Mac update but it didnt seem to help   I'm not sure if I unintentionally changed some setting or what, but all of a sudden Lightroom is not showing files I have imported when using the Folders section of Navigate. When I click 'All Photographs' under Catalog, they show. There are no filters set. Everything is updated. Why only under Folders is it not working? Is my newish catalog already corrupted?   [Moved from ‘Bugs’ to ‘Discussions’ by moderator, according to forum rules.]

For the SDK experts.I have created a Custom Metadata and chosen dataType "enum" values for this metadata are "true" or ""When multiple photos are selected AND one but not all of them have this metadata I do not see the typical < mixed > state in the panel for the current selection (I have set "Selected Photos" filter)Is there a trick to make the < mixed > state appear?.

Hola comunidad.    Al momento de exportar imagenes tras la nueva actualización de mi equipo aparece en la carpeta y de inmediato la elimina. ¿Alguien a pasado por esto? Cabe mencionar que tengo plugin de JPEGmini y trabajo en una Macbook macOs Sequoia V15.3.2.Versión LR 14.2 

Adobe Lightroom 14.0.1Build 202410161356-30922cfc Hello there. I'm looking for the fix for this problem, I have done everything listed on the Lightroom tethering problems page. What happened? I was setting all my gear for a photoshoot and I didn't notice that the external drive where I store the tethered shoots was almost out of space. So I shoot for testing and then this message appeared. So I change the location for the files to a drive with enough space, almost a terabyte. But Lightroom continue showing this message. I have restarted LR, my PC, my Nikon D7500, I've already updated the camera firmware, reinstalled LR, check the cable with Nikon Camera Control Pro... But the message still there.   

Hola, tras la nueva actualizacion a Lightroom Classic 12.0, el botón "HECHO" que se encontraba en la esquina inferior derecha para dar el OK luego de añadir nuevas mascaras, recortes y algunos ajustyes locale.....pues ese botón ha desaparecido de mi programa LrC 12.0,,,,,no se que ha pasado, tengo que dar ENTER en mi teclado o bien doble click fuera de la imagen para aplicar cambios,,,,,,me pueden decir si esta nueva actualizacion se ha cargado ese botón o es que hay alguna forma de activarlo...??... antes se encontraba en este sitio, adjunto imagen de referencia.  

Hello! I have a problem with color shift after exporting from Lightroom and PS (Windows 10). Colors look desaturated after export (and even if I transfer photo from Lr to Ps via Edit in). Monitor is calibrated. I use same color space space everywhere (srgb) and I have no problems with color towards recent few days. I tried deactivate GPU in Lr, tried downgrade Lr and Ps (old versions keep the same issue). I use FastStone Image Viewer with CMS turned on. I shoot raw and use Canon Standard profile in LR and Camera Raw. Photos in Lr look good, but after export (and viewing in FastStone) or transfer to Ps colors changes.  I attach screenshot from Lr and screenshot from FastStone.  UPD: I try to reinstall FastStone and after color looks good, but I check CMS and after I turn on "Auto detect and use monitor color profile" colors become desaturated again.   [moved from bugs to discussions according to the community rules - Mod.]

I updated my Lightroom classic on my Mac  (the newest one) and for some reason my Denoise and remove tool willlll not work no matter what. Is it just Me?

So this is new...When I go out shooting landscapes or whatever, I also take a photo with my iPhone in order to capture the GPS location. After importing the raw files from my camra as well as the image out of iCloud, I then copy the GPS data from the iPhone photo and paste it into one of the raw images...and from there use the Metadata menu's copy and paste function to apply said GPS data onto all the images. I have been dong this for years without issue - so imagine my surprise today when I discovered that images I imported in the last couple of days (and I know I inserted GPS data as described above) now do not show the GPS locations! Further, when I randomly looked at images for the past two months, I saw the same thing, although I did see that images from early February still have GPS data (which was inserted as described above)So what happened to the GS data? Is there a new and exciting bug that Adobe managed to insert here?

My Lightroom worked perfectly for years and suddenly since last week I can't launch it. There is so much info on this site, I can't seem to find the right answer how to fix it. Customer service can't help because it's the CD version (and not a subscription) which isn't supported anymore. Very :-(((. Anyone with a brilliant suggestion out here? Hello community,I have a disturbing problem that is making me lose so much time ...For years I've always modified certain shortcuts in order to work faster one-handedessentially: “create a radial gradient” from CMD+ to Shift+M )It seems to me that everything was done in the LR menus.But I can't find anythingEven in Apple's Settings, it doesn't work ..putting the title of the action / en français beau mettre le titre de Savez-vous comment faire... I am having an issue trying to make collection sets in LRC.   When I try to craste a collection set, it wants to put it into either Lightroom or Smart collections.     I want to create a collection set called National Parks, and then add collections of various parks to that set ( like subfolders).  The end goal is to sync with Adobe Portfolio.If there  is an easier way?   Or if I'm missing something?   Thx!

I'd like to add arrow in text. Most symbols show up as a box with X. Is there a way to get other symbols such as arrow in text?I'm on a Mac. Screenshot show which symbols work, all others show up as box with X.

After working well for several weeks, Lightroom now freezes when I attempt to use the Enhance feature - either denoise or resolution. When I attempt to use Enhance, the following status is displayed:Once the progress bar reaches the end, the program freezes. Please help - while I also use Topaz AI to denoise and enhance images, I prefer to stay in Lightroom. Thank You

Dear Community,  My wife is a pro photographer. She mainly uses LR Classic, PS, Camera Raw and few other apps from time to time. I'm the "tech guy"  handling, updating, buying her Macs. So far she was using her old iMac i5 mid 2017. Not only it is the latest Sequoia software supported anymore, but after recent Adobe updates it started to work really slow, making it really uncomfortable to work with multiple RAWs, applying presets, editing and so on. We want to upgrade. We need to save money this year so there are two options. Buying a good condition imac27 2020, i7 3,8 ghz 10700k, 32gb ram, 1TB ssd for ca 1200 usd (BUDGET FRIENDLY AND PREFERRED) and using it for around 2 years. Buying Mac Mini M4, 32gb ram, 512 ssd + apple display for around 2850 usd (Not preferred, leasing is the only option). We live in Poland. I intentionally use USD prices, as this is an international community 😉  I need an advice: will 2020 Imac handle LR and PS smoothly at least two se

For a while now whenever I try to sync/paste or use denoise it will work a few times after ive started up lightroom. But after a few times it just doesnt work anymore.. Only thing that will "fix" it is restarting Lightroom and then it will work. It is reeeeally slowing down my editing. Anyone else have this problem and maybe even the real fix?

i store my photos and cataloge on a external drive.  do to space limits i upgraded to a larger drive and transfered the files, but i broke the golden rule and didnt do it in lightroom.  So when i went to locate the files i was able to show lightroom that they were now kept on a different drive letter, all photos show up in the files tab but when i look at my collections some of them show no pictures and have the file not found "!" symbol.  when i click on it to locate the file it says the file is already associated with a photo when i go to the folder it is in i see only one of the files with all my edits and everything the way it should be but it will not show up in the collections.  Im assuming it still thinks its tied to the old hard drive and not the new locataion.  Thanks for any help

Since the last update, I’ve been unable to import or add JPG files to Lightroom Classic (LRC). However, I have no issues importing RAW files from an SD card. I’m using the latest version of LRC (14.2) on a 2024 MacBook Pro with an M4 chip. I’ve already tried the following troubleshooting steps:•Ensured all permissions are set to read/write•Restarted Lightroom•Reinstalled Lightroom Despite these efforts, the issue persists. The JPG files are not corrupted—I can open them without any problems. Any advice?
