Lightroom Classic

This all started when I (finally) decided to backup my lightroom catalog, which I hadn't done in a very very long time (I know, very stupid). In the middle of updating, lightroom closes and a pop-up appears to say there was an issue with my catalog and that it needs to be repaired. Lightroom repairs the catalog, but once I open the new catalog, my develop history is 100% gone.  After this happened, a new folder titled "corrupt catalogs" appeared, which allowed me to access my catalog WITH the history -- the only issue is with that catalog now, the AI remove tool settings, as well as the AI mask settings are gone, and must be manually reset. Given that I'd rather have my develop history, I figured I could live with having to redo some photos where the AI settings are concerned. However, whenever I go to back up this catalog, the same issue occurs: lightroom crashes, says it must be repaired, and then it repairs to new catalog without the develop settings. Hey all, recently my lightroom classic (windows) keeps freezing up when I try and bulk export images.  I havent changed anything so really not sure why it keeps doing it. It's becoming super fustrating as it's slowing me down getting client galleries out 😵🥴

Hello, I'm using LR Classic (14.1.1) and am a long time user.I've got all my business images in my catalog but also my personal images (the folder structure is quite separated so I can see which is which easily). I've taken time to go through and detect people on all of my personal images. I've also gone through and named the people that I want to be named.If I go to my "Personal" folder and click O to go to "People" view I can see groups of people.I could click on a face - e.g. Jim. At the top of the view I can also see Jim's full name and I can click that. Let's say it brings up 15 images of Jim. All I see is the head, the face region, on each photo of Jim.I could click each photo of Jim and go E to go to Loupe view. What I'd really like to do is see all of the images of Jim in a collection so I can see them all in Grid view.But more than that I'd then like to whittle down the 15 to say 5 of my favourites.I can see that I could create a smart collection with Jim in the search pa

MAC OS 5.2（24C101）で最新にアップデート済みですがここ数日Lightroom  Classic  14.11が起動してすぐに落ちます。アンインストールやパソコンの再起動できることは全てやりましたがここ数日完全に使用できません。仕事にならないので早くエラーを解消したいです。

I switched recently from my main editing machine being a PC to a Macbook Pro.  I transferred all of my photos and my lightroom catalog to an external hard drive and then to the Mac.  The catalog opens just fine except for one thing.  On the PC I had a network drive added which stores video files (which are included in my catalog). When I went to tell Lightroom on the Mac where the network share is I get an error every time which states "An internal error has occured.  Invalid file path.".   Can someone please help me get past this problem?  

I updated to LrC 14.1 yesterday.  Since then everytime I quit and have it do a backup I get this error window:  Since updating to 14.1 it has happened 4 times.  I have never gotten this message before.  I am on an M2 Pro Mac 32gb, Ventura 13.7.1.  I have clicked on Report and sent a report to Apple multiple times. One time I quit without doing the backup and I did not get the error. Anyone else having this new problem?  Any ideas?

Why is there this annoying question in Classic now whether I want to sync a catalog being opened instead of the one already synced? At least give users the option to not show it again.And ironic to ask about syncing another catalog when sync is so incredibly fickle and unreliable with the one already being synced.

Hallo,bin gerade von MacOs zu Windows 11 gewechselt und habe ein HP ZBook.Meine RAWs liegen in der pCloud, die als virtuelles Laufwerk (P:) eingebunden ist, wie sie es auch bei MacOS war.Bei MacOs konnte ich ohne weiteres die RAW-Datein mit "Hinzufügen" in Lightroom importieren.Mit Windows 11 bzw. dem ZBook funktioniert es nicht.Ich kann das pCloud Laufwerk nach Klick auf Import zwar auswählen und sehe auch die Vorschaubilder. Allerdings sind Verschieben und Hinzufügen nicht auswählbar.Versuche ich es mit Bildern, die auf der lokalen Festpaltte oder auf einer externen SSD-Festplatte liegen, klappt es mit "Hinzufügen" ohne Probleme.Hat jemand eine Idee, woran es liegen kann?Die pCloud ist anderweitig ganz normal zu nutzen. Ich kann mit dem Explorer Daten speichern, verschieben und löschen.Viele Grüße,Frank

I’m encountering a strange issue with Lightroom Classic (latest version): it doesn’t recognize my Canon EOS 5D Mark IV for tethered shooting when connected to my Mac on my main user account (which is an admin account).Here are the details:Tethered shooting works perfectly on other user accounts created on the same Mac for testing purposes.Canon EOS Utility and other software recognize the camera without any issues on my main account.I was running macOS Sonoma and recently upgraded to macOS Sequoia, hoping it would fix the issue, but it didn’t.The camera firmware is updated to the latest version.Lightroom Classic has full disk access permissionsI have tried uninstalling Lightroom Classic and removing all preferences.  This issue seems isolated to my specific macOS user account.Has anyone else experienced similar problems with tethered shooting? Any suggestions on what might be causing this or how to fix it?Thanks in advance!

Does Lightroom allow for a default preset for the local adjustment brush?  After experimenting and Googling I haven't found a way. The context:  I use a local adjustment preset daily on dozens of photos.  The current workflow requires that  select that preset for each photo, which results in dozens of extraneous clicks and an interupted flow.  Those extra clicks would be avoided by being able to specify a default preset.

why are the edited photos in my lightroom catalog blurry or not loading properly

Hallo ihr Lieben, vielleicht kann mir von euch einer helfen oder hatte das Problem schon einmal. Ich habe in Lightroom einen Ordner mit Bildern. Die Verknüfung mit den Bildern ist auf meiner Festplatte. Sind auch alle Bilder . Kann diese bearbeiten usw. Jedoch kann ich kein Bild exportieren. Das dauert und es tut sich nichts. Bei manchen Bildern geht es allerdings komischerweise. Möchte ich eine virtuelle Kopie erstellen, kommt die Fehlermeldung "Es ist ein interner Fehlger aufgetreten". Weiß nicht mehr was ich machen soll. Alles ist aktualisiert, Bilder findet Lightroom auch, allerdings kein Export möglich. Danke euch vorab für eure Hilfe. Vielen Dank

I am trying to move my catalog from one computer to another, but now I can see that all my pictures are there with keywords however I do not have any previews and all my folders have ? next to them

When I am working with "Masking" in LightroomClassic after some actions it starts working wrong. Photo in the main area is not refreshing anymore, If you go to another photo, it won't update either. How should I fix it? 

I imported my photos from another catalog quite some time ago with LrC. What could be the reason that all my edits are no longer there. I work with separate XMP files.greeting

Does anyone know if there will ever be support for dual pixel raw in LR or ACR? I understand I can make the adjustments in DPP and then convert it to a TIFF but after trying and trying to take advantage of the increased sharpness there is now way to maintain exposure or color when making the conversion, not to mention a 120+mb file. There are multiple Canon cameras out now that shoot in dual pixel raw so there has to be more of a reason for Adobe to try and support the functionality.

When i select the background via the AI masking tool and then go to the color button to change the color of that background, i do not see anything happen on the background itself. I have no idea what's happening, my system requirements seem ok....Anybody has a tip for this please? 

Hi, LrC (14.1.1) will not start the import of images from my iPhone 15 Pro (iOS 18.1.1) on my mac Studio M2 64GB macOS (15.2). When 1. pressing Import and 2. selecting the source and 3. the wanted images the import window disappears and it shows as if the import had started but no images / videos are ever coming through. I left it do its thing for about 15 min then aborted and tried again after restarting LrC. Any ideas? what's wrong? Thanks!

Ola, Perfil cor Adobe não esta aparecendo para todas fotos do mesmo ensaio. Ou seja, para algumas fotos do mesmo ensaio fotografico tenho a opção perfil adobe e para outras apenas cor, onde tenho que escolher um perfil pre existente , porem não aparece o perfil adobe.Uso mac , LRC 13.5.1 , não consigo atualizar para o 14 , pois esta dando ero depois da instalação, fecha automaticamente ao tentar abrir  c , teria que resolver isso na versao  13. Nunca Havia acontecido isso. Obrigado

Hallo, arbeite unter Windows 11, und ich beobachte seit ein paar Tagen, dass ich in LRC folgende Funtionen nicht mehr durchfuehren kann: 1. Farben u. Sterne Bewertung wird nicht direkt angezeigt. Erst wenn ich LRC verlasse und wieder oeffne ist sind Farben und Sterne zu sehen. 2. Ich kann keine Panoramen mehr erstellen. Ich klicke die Funktionan, keine Reaktion. 3. Sammlungssaetze kann ich nicht mehr herstellen. auch hier, keine Reaktion!  Habe Daten ausgelagert, jetzt 700GB freien Speicherplatz auf D. Voreinstellungen zurueckgesetzt.
