Lightroom Classic

Hi, as far as I understand, Camera Raw is now able to apply AI denoise, enhanced details and super-resolution without an intermediate disk-space-eater DNG file. Is it somehow possible directly within Lightroom Classic ? If not, what's the best workflow in your opinion ?

bonjourJ'ai un abonnement PS et LRC . Les mises à jour se passent sans problème . Lorsque je veux supprimer un objet avec l'IA dans LRC j'ai le messege suivant : Echec : ce site Adobe ne correspond pas à votre zone géographique ,rdv sur le site web Belgique. Par contre tout est Ok dans PS . Je viens de supprimer et reinstaller LRC et le problème persiste . Que faire ?

Lightroom Classic v13.0.1    Appears to suffer from huge memory leaks which after a few minutes use bog the my machine down so much that I have to wait seconds at a time for the mouse to respond!    Below is the system info as reported by Lightroom Classic just after opening and then again a few minutes later after editing some average sized photographs. (Taken as RAW on a Canon EOS 5D MKIV)   You'll see the difference in memory usage. It's just a joke!!    The only cure I've found is to close Lightroom, wait for my machine to clear itself up and then open it again. Hardly practical when you have 300 odd photos to edit and you're having to close the application every 3 or 4 pictures...   I chatted to some disinterested 'technical support' person who's only suggestion was to uninstall and re-install Lightroom. I didn't have time then, but have done this since and guess what - it made no difference whatsoever.   I have a pretty powerful machin

I wanted to create a lightroom book and moved from lightroom CC to classic. In the process of synchronising the pictures, i realised my hard drive was getting full as it duplicated all pictures in the 2 lightroom version and changed the saving folder to my NAS.  While it was resynchronising, I noticed my pictures where being replaced by older ones, overwriting all the pictures i had already edited. Even weirder, i kept the edit of the pictures but on an older pictures.   I tried to check if the same thing was happening on the cloud What should i do? I see an option to delete all synched photos? Would that help?  

Hallo Community,beim Beenden von Lightroom ( Version 12.3 unter Windows 10) sichere ich meine Kataloge immer auf eine externe Festplatte.Jetzt ist ers so, dass ich einen Katalog nicht mehr sichern kann.Speicherplatz und Schreibberechtigung ist vorhanden.Das Problem habe ich tatsächlich auch nur mit einem Katalog. Whenever I am using the masking tool in Lrc, the app become slow and would eventually crashes. It's been two days now I've been trying to mask a single photo, which is rather fustrating! How can I fix this. This is slowing down work flow way too much! 

Version of the app 13.5.1Platform and OS version macOS 14 SonomaBasic steps to reproduce the problem I am attempting to print rows and columns of the same size as is done normally in the Print module. However, the first row and first column is slightly shorter than it should be, and the other ones are slightly longer.   

When im editing my photos the photo will constantly change brightness of the photo (not in any setting of adjustments) unless i go fullscreen or make the screen small. Its not ground breaking but its very irritating to edit go full screen and then back to editing. Its like the photo is self editing brightness or color saturation but no settings change. Please help.

Good evening, I'm having serious problems with LrC, I don't know what's going on.I've tried every way to download photos for editing and it won't open them, and when it does it's only half the album, and then when I go to the developing window, it doesn't open anything, they're new photos, not albums that have already been used, please, I have to work and I can't do anything on it anymore. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it 3 times.I need urgent help 

Hello folks, I'm having a weird issue where Lightroom Classic (13.5.1) won't export. The progress bar appears, goes to 100%, but no photos ever show up on my hard drive, nor does the progress bar go away. Lightroom Classic's CPU usage is at 0% even with the "operation in progress". I've tried changing performance settings to not use GPU to see if that would fix the issue. Lightroom says it's editing originals and not Smart Previews.  This morning, I shut down computer, fresh boot, still have the same issue. After I create a radial gradient mask i can't move or rotate it afterwards-- i used to be able to do this.using version 14.4.1

I had this happen a while back, and now it is happening again with the latest update to LR Classic to 14.0.1. I delete a file, and a screen pops up saying can not move the file to the trash. It tells me the file name giving the full path of the file, and then I have to click on "permanently delete" or cancel.  I don't remember what it was that I did to fix the problem the last time, but I believe it was something in the Preferences. Thanks in advance for helpign me with this.  Using Macbook Pro, using Sequoia.

I think I have a corrupt catalog in Lightroom Classic on a Mac, and perhaps a corrupt preview file.  Sometime in the last couple of months, it became impossible to access images.  When I open lightroom, I only see grey rectangles in Gridview.   I have imported photos to lightroom for years from a number of 2 gB hard drives and you still can see the hard drives listing the photos for each day in the library catalog.   Occasionally, you can see the images from a few of the drives.  But you can no longer see most of the images anymore.   (The actual dng files are still on the hard drives.)                  When I tried to optimize or save the catalog using LR 14.01, it would just hang.    So I went back to a previous version of LR (13.3.1), I can open some of the older catalogs, but they still seem corrupt, ie still just see grey rectangles in gr

Lightroom Classic/ Windows 11 When opening LR C I get a pop-up: Your catalog is being updated to access the latest changes in this newer version of LR.  A compressed copy of your current catalog is stored in the location below ....3 options appear: 1 Close. 2 Perform upgrade. 3 Choose other catalog.When I choose 2 or 3 the same pop-up appears again and again . So I can not open LR C. What can be the matter? 

I have Lr 14.0.1 and PS 26.0.0 on a Macbook pro i9 OS 15.0.1.I was trying to open a photo in PS from Lr and got this message (Could not open " file name DNG" because of a disk error)  

After importing files, the "building standard previews" progress bar does not budge. Same thing if I ask to build previews from the Library menu. The previews build when I first start up Lightroom, but never thereafter. How do I get this to work?

Hello !After updating the OS to the lastest MacOS avaible Sequoia 15.0.1 (24A348) and the latest LR 14.0.1, i have some issues with strange artefacts that appeared instantly after the update while editing the raw file.Is there anything that i can do ? After updating to 14.0.1 (Camera raw 17.0), despite using a lower Denoise Amount than normal and keeping other settings the same, it took about four times as long to process an image, and when it was processing, the mouse would jump if it was moved.   PC: AMD Ryren 2700 with 48GB RAM, RX 6600 windows, LR and catalogue on SSDs. All drivers are fully updated. image 20.3Mb RAW.   Anything I can do to speed things up? 

In version 14.0.1 the default Profile in the Develop Module is Camera Natural. This profile is very saturated and not very realistic and not at all like the image I expect from the camera (Olympus OM-1). I have to change every photo to Adobe Color in Develop for the image to match the rendering in Library. Can I change the default Develop Profile?

These days it is very common to use a variety of third party lenses with mirrorless cameras.  Typically, the camera does not know what lens is mounted on it, so it does not put out the right lens information in the EXIF data.  There are a handful of EXIF editors with varying degrees of usability, but most don't work since they don't edit the data that is considered proprietary to a camera maker.  The one utility that is supposed to work is very hard to use. Can LRC provide the ability to edit in the name of the lens in the EXIF data?  Also, I don't know if LRC does this, but it would also be helpful to edit the capture date and time for individual photos, as well as batch edit the capture date and time by providing a time offset, e.g., +9:00 hours. Thank you for considering this input.

Hi - This is an issue that keeps popping up on here, but I can't see an answer for my specific question, which is in two parts: All my photos are on an external hard drive, which used to be D:/ but has now been reassigned to F:/ . Lightroom can see all the photos I've imported recently from F:/ but nearly all my folders are 'missing' because Lightroom thinks they're on D:/ which it can't now find. I've done all the steps to repoint LrC at the missing folders, which are all in a single master folder on the external drive. I think I'm nearly there, but I'm baulking at the final step, where after I've right clicked on the 'missing' D:/ drive in Lightroom, found the missing master folder and all the missing folders within it, clicked on it but now LrC is saying "The selected folder or one of its subfolders is already in Lightroom. Do you want to combine these folders?". It then gives the option to MERGE or CANCEL. If I hit MERGE is that problem solved? Second part of the que
