Hello,I am trying to remove a couple power lines in a photo and discovered that using the shift key while selecting a straight line no longer works 😕😕 Am I missing something? Sonama 14.5Classic 13.3.1Apple trackpad

L'importatiion de vidéo dans Lightroom Classic détruit la date de prise de vue de la vidéo. Que diriez-vous si les dates de prise de vue de vos phtos étaient systèmatiquement remplacées par la date de l'importation dans lightroom ?Manisfestement Adobe refuse d'adresser ce bug.J'ai trouvé un façon de régler le problème lorsque l'on importe des vidéos en provenance d'un iPhone.Menu "Exporter la vidéo originale non modifiée"J'exporte la vidéo originale non modifiée depuis "Photos".  J'obtiens ainsi le fichier vidéo .mov et le fichier XMP séparé.J'importe le tout dans Lightroom sans renommer les fichiers.Les dates de numerisation restent correctes.Si comme moi, vous renommez vos fichiers en date-heure, vous pouvez appliquer le renommage sans problème. Que se passe-t'il si utilisez le menu "Exporter Vidéo" Vous n'obtenez qu'un fichier .mov  qui une fois importé dans Lightroom est vu par Lightroom comme ayant été crée le jour de l'importation. No doing the right things. Open an image and another show up. Not transfer from Photoshop to Lightroom. When crop... go back and for / many other stuff not working. Lightroom show : all photos 20,xxx and the frame are there but no image in there. Last half from my redmarked folder. but the empty frame shows up without an pictures. When I enlarge to 100% it change to back and . I cannot work with this issues anymore.Can I uninstal and reinstal again without losing images?

I've been using LR and SM plugin daily for several years, very comfortable with my workflow and rarely have issues that I can't find the solution for in the forums or through searches.Recently (Oct/Nov 2017), whenever I browse galleries in LR that are in my Smugmug collections (library grid viewing mode), images instantly begin to pop from the 'published' section to 'modified photos to re-publish'.  They do this slowly, without any changes being made by me.  No changes to the image are showing up in the develop module history section either.Nothing is being changed in those photos, they don't start to move to the modified section until I am looking at them in the library grid.  I thought this might be related to the ACR / Camera Calibration being updated from version 3 2012 to version 4 current, but the photos that are being marked as 'modified' still show version 3 2012 as their calibration.Any idea what is causing this, how I can stop it?  As you can imagine it's

Updated to 13.3 around 4 days ago, I have 22 000 images in my catalogue, 1900 of which sync (the rest not set to sync).  Have waited patiently for indexing, sync, etc to take place.  Still glacial action moving from one image to the next in the Develop module  Any suggestions to get Lr moving much appreciated 

I've had an stand-alone version of Lightroom 6 installed on my old pc for several years. I just upgraded to a new Windows 11 pc and I want to transfer the program  to it. I have the original setup files and I have my product key, but when I initiate the installation process, it is interrupted by a dialog box that tells me "To use Adobe services, please update your Adobe applications, operating system, and browser to the latest versions." I don't understand the "update your Adobe applications" part, but the OS is the latest Windows 11 version and the browser is the latest version of Edge. How do I proceed? Thanks very much.

For Uptdate Mac and Lightoom only Problems. Support from Adobe don't help with the Problems. Please help. 

So, at the suggestion of some friends, I'm converting my photos from lightroom (cc?) to LR Classic. There are almost 100k of photos stretching back 20 years, so it's a bit of a process.All of them were in one catalog on the web version, and I'm trying to split them up to increase processor/memory efficiency. I want to connect my LR Classic Catalog to download photos from the web. My question is thus: I want to download CERTAIN photos (ie, all photos between 2008 and 2010, for example) from my monster catalog into the open Classic one (which, unsurprisingly, I've titled 2008-2010). If I connect the two catalogs:I assume that the flow of photos will sync automatically, yes?How can I force LR to just download the ones that I want? I don't see a real sync manager or anything. Can I put them all into one collection and just sync that? Or is there a better way? Otherwise, I just have to select and export to a local drive, and then reimport. But I'd rather not do that.Thanks!

I have subscribed to Lr.  I understand that the program "Lightroom" is not present on my desktop harddrive, which means I would not be able to use it when our internet goes down.  How can I get Lr Classic onto my harddrive?  I am Windows based.

I am going through a big Lightroom catalog and removing duplicates, so I'm looking at a Smart collection of Duplicates that I want to keep ordered by File Name because then I can actually see the duplicates. However, when I click back and forth between two images to compare them, Lightroom is changing the Sort Order back to Capture Time quite often. It is VERY frustrating to have to reset the sort order all the time. What is going on here? I can't find any documentation describing this behaviour in Lightroom Classic so I really don't know why the sort order is getting reset all the time? * can I change the default sort order to be File name?* can I disable whatever weird shortcut of clicks is resetting the sort order to the default? Any help woul dbe great because it's driving me nuts!

Dear community, I have a problem when I photograph with my camera (fujifilm XT2) including flash (godox AD400pro). When I load my photos in RAW in LrC or Photoshop and I click on develop, the flash disappears. I can't edit my photos properly this way. Could you please help me as I have no idea what it could be. Hi Everyone, I could use some advice. I recently did a studio photoshoot where I photographed employees in front of a colour background. Somehow my white balance was set to auto which changed the colours of the background. The background colours all have to match. What's the easiest way to do this as I have many pictures to edit. Hope you can help me out, thanks in advance!  

Hi I have since upgrading to Lightroom Classic 13.3 (and today 13.3.1) had serious problems working with my Lightroom. I do have a large catalog. I have 422.767 photos in my catalog, but it has been no problem so far.SymptomsWhen I start an Photo Merge HDR it does not complete. It stays like this without completing:The new HDR.dng file is added to the catalog.If I start another HDR merge, it will be queued.Other side-effects (more in-consistantly - I haven't spotted the pattern yet)Contextual Menu (right mouse click) can be minutes to appear.Import files can be several minutes to complete.Things I have triedI have tried to do a backup of the Lightroom Catalog, and used that backup instead. This apparently solved the problem for a couple of days, but now it is back and I can't make that "magic work again" (do a backup and use that instead).I have tried to reset settings, with no difference.I updated my Nvidia drivers last week to latest studio drivers, with no difference.I hav

I shoot a lot of timelapses which I organize by having a main folder for the day/trip and then subfolders for each timelapse. I then usually build out the exact same structure in LR and import each folder individually into collections. Is there a way to create the same folder structure faster in LR and then import all folders at once and have them place all photos into the appropriate collections based on the folder they came from? Or do I have to manually do it like I've been doing it? 

Hello, I'm a photographer not and especaily computer adept. I'd like clear directions on how to delete whatever/wherever LRC is filing/saving/uploading/synching my photos, and a method of keeping further use clear of these 'saves'. To be clear, but not at all hostile, my photos are saved and well kept elsewhere. What I don't want is not to be able to return later that day fro a second editing pass on a photo, and find it greyed out and unavailable to edit.I want the same relationship with LRC that I had years ago with a cigarette machine, put in the quarters, pull the lever, get the product and walk away until next time. I want free of all the filing/saving etc that occurs behind the scenes, and simply use LRC when needed and find all as I left it. Thanks -

Hi, I hope someone can help. I opened Lightroom and I had been working on photos the day before. Lightroom came up with I needed to create a new file click on below. I did this and all photos and library have gone. I have nothing. I have tried to open a catalog but nothing happens. I have lost a lot of phptos, Can anyone help please. 

Hi!A very annoying issue that I know had been discussed a few years ago but I couldn't find a convincing answer...I am using a Canon G7X (compact camera), shooting in RAW (cr2 file format)When look at the preview in the default Windows app (Photos), the image is a bit distorted but full. When I import in LR Classic, it automatically must apply a lens correction which crops the edges of the picture quite agressively.I've tried the workarounds I could find online (open in PS; change the "develop settings" to "camera settings" in Develop; create a default in preferences -> presets -> "Overall global setting for specific camera"...)Nothing works and I have a little inform box in Develop->lens correction "built-in lens profile applied", saying when I click on it "Canon PowerShot G7X - This raw file contains a built-in lens profile for correction distortion and chromatic aberration. The profile has already been applied automatically to this image"-> how can I avoid that from happ

When I am using the arrow keys to toggle between photos, the photos now fade in from black like a powerpoint slide. This is very annoying when I'm checking for differences between two photos. Hello friendsI inadvertently messed up some of my custom develop presets. When i use the "open preset location", it points to "imported presets". Is there another location where they are stored where i might find versions which have not been updated with my mistake that i can use to restore previous versions?thanks!John

Hi! I had an account with my email adress, my license was expired for a moment and the only solution i found was to create a new account with an other email adress, the first one didn't work... So i have a lightroom full of picture that doesn't work anymore, and a new one with no picture. Is there any possibility to switch my photo to one lightroom to the other? Or change my new account email adress for the old one?Thanks for your help!

Neither Classic or "modern" Lr is capable of consistently exporting JPEGs from Fuji x-t5 RAW files. Sometimes it outright crashes, sometimes it corrupts cached image (needs to be reimported) by creating high contrast mess. Sometimes (as per attached) it displays random garbage before crashing.I'm Lr user almost from the beginning, but I have a feeling Adobe despises their customers and it's time to go...
